Corbett Member “mkey” has often posted comment links of Houston Activist, Derrick Broze speaking to the Houston City Council/Mayor warning them about the 5G rollout. Derrick has been to the Council Members many times and, of course, has emailed them.
Broze would often get a very bored, yawning response from the City Council and Mayor, except for one City Council Member who was engaged and concerned. Repeatedly, Broze gave them documents, scientific studies and offered to help them on becoming more informed about the 5G rollout.
Except for the one City Council Member, Broze has pretty much been ignored.
Not now.

I kid you not…on this presentation by Broze, the Council Members give a variety of interesting anecdotes.
For example, around the 13 minute mark, a Councilman talks about a Medical Center whose Xray equipment would become compromised by the 5G towers. To me, it only takes two brain cells to think beyond that statement…”If 5G interferes with Xray equipment, then duh?! it probably interferes with body mechanisms.”

Regarding the first story, the power of GIS tech is nothing new. I work with GIS daily in my job and got a degree in that field at my university. The news article says Census employees are just simply examining aerial imagery. That in and of itself is not impressive. Yes, the resolution of the imagery has increased over time, but even by the articles’ own admission, the employees are comparing current imagery to 2010 imagery, so the tech has been that ‘high tech’ since at least 2010. The real power of GIS comes with the geoprocessing tools that can make advanced calculations based on geographic data. Also, the apps that have been, and continue to be developed in the recent years are being used by government agencies for their own purposes. One example is the ESRI Workforce app that uses GIS technology for boots-on-the-ground data collection by multiple people contributing to one dataset, and then real-time analysis of those data by someone sitting in an office remotely. This app has been used by the DHS and police departments working at Fusion Centers to “manage” large events like the Super Bowl or music festivals.

Yea, I can see how it could facilitate a Census taker’s job of “knocking on doors”.
Back around 2005, when I was about to go back to college, I got a sales job. I sold aerial photographs of people’s ranches, farms or homes out in the country (Texas area). They would pay $100 or more for a large framed photo of their place. The photos were taken by a low flying airplane circling around a segment of the county.
It was kind of fun and extremely interesting. I would drive down a county road or farm-to-market road and try to match my stack of aerial photos with what I saw from the ground (which can be difficult sometimes). I would get them sorted.
Then I would pick a place, put their photo in the frame, climb over the gated fence and walk on up to the farmhouse. Cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, snakes would watch me make the trek.
Folks were very proud of their country place. It might just be an old beat-up mobile home (single wide trailer) on an acre or two, and still they would fork out $100 for an aerial shot of their place.
Some places were big spreads. Some not.
Not once was anyone unfriendly, and I saw a lot of places in a lot of Texas Counties. This surprised me. After all, I was at their place in the middle of nowhere uninvited. Sometimes I would have to go back to their place repeatedly because no one was home. When I would approach a place I often would think to myself, “I hope no one thinks I am trying to steal stuff”. Especially, if no one was home.
I learned a lot of cool things…
Some folks would build their house to look like a barn to avoid certain property taxes.
Some folks had semi-underground homes.
Some counties had weird rules on their property tax codes for Agriculture exemptions; such as you can’t raise “free range chickens” and get the Ag exemption, but you can get the Ag exemption if you pack a bunch of hens wing-to-wing into a building.
Often I would walk up to a place with a large covered porch. I would see rubber snakes spread all round. Finally, I asked someone why they had all these rubber snakes. It was to keep the swallows from building a mud nest under the porch. Then, I understood. Below a swallow’s nest, the poop gets pretty nasty.
I met a lot of great people from all walks of life during that gig. Saw some neat things out in rural Texas which many folks never see. Ghost towns, cemeteries, mansions with no one ever home,….

When an individual, organization or corporation is clearly doing wrong or is on the wrong side of an argument, “tin foil hat” wearing dismissal dialogue is the only response they CAN give. Where else can they go except offensive weaponry? They must accuse others to derail or mitigate suspicion of their wrong doing.

Dr. Paul Connett, Executive Director of the Fluoride Action Network, interviews Dr. Bob Dickson, MD and Dr. James Beck, MD, PhD on the looming battle over water fluoridation in Calgary, Canada. Calgary stopped adding #fluoride to its water supplies in 2011 but recently a strong push from the fluoride lobby threatens to restart fluoridation. In this video, Dr. Dickson and Dr. Beck share their thoughts on why adding fluoride to Calgary’s water supplies is a VERY BAD IDEA.
What happens in Calgary could have major implications for other Canadian cities, as well as other fluoridated cities across the globe.

Toxicologist Dr. Paul Connett was in Calgary, Canada on June 1st, 2019.
Calgary’s water has been non-fluoridated since 2011, but the fluoride pushers have been hard at it. They are trying to get it put back into the water, even to the point of ‘fudging’ a so-called scientific study.
Loaded with a bucket of foul vitriol, Catherine Ford, a regular columnist for the Calgary Herald, had things like this to say: “…This thinking (opposition to fluoridation) believes in such silliness as a whiff of smoke causes cancer; aluminum pots will give you Alzheimer’s; post-menopause hormone-replacement therapy brings on breast cancer; cellphones and overhead power lines cause brain tumours; vaccinations and inoculations are more dangerous than the diseases they prevent….”

We just recently had a double Foo Fighters concert at the 2000-year-old Roman built Arena. They initially planned one concert but due to great demand and the size of the venue which only allows a fraction of visitors their concerts usually attract, they decided to pull two concerts in two days.
I didn’t attend in the end due to lack of time and I’m less interested in commercial concerts anyway.
