Give a listen to the CFR’s The World Next Week for April 7, 2016. At 15:53 in the recording, speaking about the Panama Papers leak…
“I think we owe a shout out to the journalists. I think we may have discovered in this that law firms aren’t very good at keeping secrets but journalists certainly are in the fact that they held on to this with so many reporters involved for about a year and nobody jumped the gun and published before any of the others so that’s an impressive example of cooperation among reporters.”
Well, good thing for that. We’ve had collusion everywhere else in the world, It’s about time it made its way to journalism! Tuck that in your quiver for the next time you hear something like, “With so many people involved, someone would have talked!”
From a anti-globalist perspective, you missed the good news that the majority of the Dutch population voted no in a referendum on the EU-Ukraine association treaty that was held on April 6.
