One has to love these settlements. It’s like a payday, one which you yourself, your ma, dad, sister, brother, friends et al are paying for. I can’t even fathom how is this supposed to work, you drop the ball and then everybody pays? Well, I guess those of us who insist on paying taxes are corroborating so taxpayers should pay when employees mess up.
How many pitchforks and torches one could get for $100.000? Quite a few, it seems https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/pitchfork-for-sale_60650770413.html?spm=a2700.7724838.2017115.1.1f553d4e6FRxt5
Regarding the Alex Wubbels story, the last line of that FreeThoughProject link says “As for Jeff Payne, he was fired for his actions that day. However, he is appealing and if history is any indicator, he will likely be reinstated and receive back pay.”
I’ve never understood why police aren’t required to get private insurance to compensate victims. I don’t see how it makes sense that the taxpayers should be put on the hook.
From my above comment, it stands to reason those whom foot the bill for everything else are supposed to pay for errors of their employes.
Not to mention that taking an insurance for stuff like this is not much different because the company won’t allow to lose credit, no matter what. So all who take out insurance will end up payjng no matter what.
The only form of justice here is to have all involved fired and imprisoned for the length of time provisioned for the offence supposedly commited. Everything else is just a bunch of bullshit.
Compensation should be payed only in cases there are actual expenses. Payed by the slave labor of the offender, of course.
Yes, we should toss them into the for-profit prisons the people also pay for. Its better than the alternative, but it still stinks like everything else in this corporate-fascist country we live in.

In Part 1 of the 7 part series (49:45), Ty Bollinger states
that in the 1930’s Dupont “patented a process for developing plastic, rayon, dacron, nylon, all these different fabrics, from oil. Now, the Cannabis plant, the Hemp plant, you also could make fibers from the Hemp plant. This was a huge competition with Dupont’s patent on the use of oil, petrochemicals to produce these fabrics. Andrew Mellon, Dupont’s chief investor, Secretary of the Treasury — his nephew-in-law was named Harry Anslinger. Harry Anslinger was appointed by the President at that time to be the head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, which later became the Drug Enforcement Agency.”

Trump never had any interest in JFK or the documents. This is Roger Stone, using the JFK assassination and the coverup to put a loin cloth on baby Donald.
