It isn’t the job of the state to keep children safe, it’s the job of parents. We all know child safety is not the reason anyway, it’s mass surveillance and control.

Far too many “parents” need guidance themselves away from THEIR social media/TV addiction. In this case some control from the state is needed to be the adult in the room. Same with alcohol. The state isn’t always bad, mostly, but not always.
In my case, I am 83, grew up in a small river town in N. Calif where even the neighbors had the right to straighten out inappropriate behavior, tribal consciousness.

If you like slop too much its a good time to get a Raspbery Pi4 (or old PC) and install KODI (Cost zero $) on it so you can play all your old (ripped with MakeMKV) DvD’s or find out on the internet. You can play DVD’s via USB drive (use blue ports….)
You can pick up whole series of TV shows for cheep on DVD, or free if you like Torrenting.
