Now that DuckDuckGo has officially DuckDuckGone in the direction of censorship, what’s a free speech-loving, liberty-minded conspiracy realist to do? Never fear, #SolutionsWatch is here. In the first of a series of explorations of Alt Tech, James talks to Colin Pape of Presearch, a decentralized search engine that is seeking to offer an alternative to the Big Tech monopolization of search.

Such a major point James – there is no such thing as a neutral point of view. Many really don’t understand this and therefore we see the world in a state of misplaced trust and negligence of people doing their own due diligence. Independent investigation has died amongst the general population.
Over six trillion dollars printed off by the federal reserve over the last 2 years. Much of that vanished, stolen & used to bribe lots of companies to push the covaids 1984 narrative & now the Russia war narrative. My guess is Mr. Wienberger from Duck Duck Go got paid off to to tank his search engines reputation. Everyone has a price.
They might be blackmailing him. Surprisingly popular method of control in D.C.
Typically, a corporation has board members. Board members are often composed as a result of the largest shareholders in the company.
Board Members oversee the operational direction of the people in charge of running the company (e.g CEO, CFO, etc.), because they have a strong financial stake. They are the real agenda setters for a corporation, not the President of the company.
Brad Burnham – Union Square Ventures – Board Member
Gabriel Weinberg – DuckDuckGo – Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member
Jim Orlando – OMERS Ventures – Board Observer
Stephen Mendel – JD – Self – Board Member

Way back, I think that James Corbett discussed how ‘famous’ notorious people sit on the Boards of varied powerful corporations.
Blackrock and Vanguard are major shareholders in about 1600 companies, so I can just imagine their influence in those companies.
Corporations are beholden to their owners, the shareholders.
Qortal is working on peer to peer internet with decentralized block chain technology, Check it out. I think its worth supporting.
slightly off topic, but related to whats been prophesied here, actually coming true. Its a solution, but sadly for the zombie capturate.
This article describes how the social credit system is spreading. A slime mould solving the problem of controlling those who wont stay in line, or at least those with kontrol-tuff protein coding, in all the queen’s properties (CA, USA, UK, AUS, NZ), from zero hedge

Never trusted DDG, founder Weinberg who was at MIT, i dont need a crystal ball DDG is used to micromanage the population aswell, using swisscows.com or sometimes startpage.com
I have very recently stumbled upon a relatively niche search engine (the default engine of android’s app Privacy Browser):
https://www.mojeek.com
A bit of a hit and miss for me, but I have kept using it more and more over the past months.
You are, more likely, get better results for most searches in google, however you may have to click to the 2nd or 3rd page to find them nowadays, given their ability to de-rank what truly matters, and boost the trash.
(Thats valid for youtube too)
Joe 6 pack. That was funny James
“Presearch Search Engine – #SolutionsWatch” is a top-grade, primo, 5 Star #SolutionsWatch!
This should easily slide into the box labeled “The Best of The Corbett Report”.
A very important element of this interview which stands out for me is Hope.
With all the fatalistic aspects concerning the Technocratic State barreling down upon us, we should not overlook the fact that many people are working to build a better world. There is hope.
Colin Pape of Presearch is my kind of guy. He is so real, not plastic-coated. Genuine. Balanced. I loved listening to the guy.
I’ve often used Presearch in the past, along with a variety of Search Engines which I have in my right margin bookmark’s view.
CBS affiliate KRLD 1080 AM News Radio in the Dallas Ft Worth area of north Texas has been advertising DuckDuckGo for years. DuckDuckGo sponsors one of their news, traffic or weather updates which are given several times an hour.
CBS Radio sings the same narrative tune as CBS TV.
Finally putting Yuck Yuck Go out to pasture. We’ve all suspected that *uck *uck Go and Weinberg have been compromised for quite some time. I’d never heard of or used Presearch before, it’s awesome! Good to find another alternative!
Life’s a garden: dig it! ?

By the way, fantastic interview!! One of the more interesting ones I’ve listened to!
Search: ukraine
Presearch: wikipedia, nbcnews, aljazeera
mojeek: wikipedia, yahoo, ukrainesingles
ResultHunter: foxnews, wikipedia, cfr, bbc
Brave: wikipedia, cnn
Search: corbett
Presearch: 0
mojeek: 2d listing
ResultHunter: 0
Brave: 0 but Corbett Report was the first auto-complete choice
“Search: corbett
Presearch: 0”
I just searched corbett in Presearch and corbettreport.com came up 4th in the list!
Presearch…
Long story short, we’re not quite there yet.
Basically what we currently have is a search engine reliant
on Google plus a type of ‘built-in’ VPN.
Better than nothing I suppose.
James you mentioned Wiki and IP addresses tracked when changes are made… there’s more to Wiki than that.
I dipped my toes into Wiki editing several years ago. Nothing controversial like 9/11 etc. 🙂
It was a sports figure.
My edit was valid, yet it didn’t last more than a couple of hours!
Wiki is supposed to be for everyone to contribute/edit yada yada.
Don’t be fooled. It is tightly controlled! Yes for even mundane things they have full-time staff
watching every one of your edits.
A good but not great search option is https://www.globalresearch.ca/
They are a news aggregator. On the top of their site is a search window. Anything you type in that search window will search the global research website.
As a baseline, I use as my search -> deaths from covid vaccine
This used to give me good results on DuckDuckGo, but now is cdc, nytimes, and usatoday
I get decent results on global research
https://www.globalresearch.ca/?s=deaths+from+covid+vaccine&x=0&y=0
I tested this on the other websites and found the top search results are mostly
cdc, Newsweek, jhu,
presearch results are similarly disappointing
wikipedia, usatoday, yahoo news, CBS News, and AOL
search.brave.com search results
cdc, bbc, factcheck.org, aol, Washington Post, cnbc, reuters
google search results for this were as expected.
I have found the knees have been effectively cut out from under us for search across all sites
Again, these are for the first page results.
If anyone knows someone who knows how to write a web crawler, I think its a good time to get started.
Also, suggestions on how to parse through the search results or simplifying search would be useful.
Michel Chosudovsky has been excellent on every major issue for quite a few decades. He was one of the first to debunk the Covid narrative.
You can use quotes to combine words.
You can use + in front of a search term to force it to be used.
You can use – in front to remove pages that have it.
Where’s Waldo? See if you can find him somewhere in the bushes.

I like JP’s outfit.
There were some great lines in this clip.
JP would proabably come dressed as batman to a drag party.
I do remember the days of pseudonimuous internet. Mahalo!
Recently, I’ve been using metager. It’s 100% powered by renewable energy, it’s that good!
https://metager.org
I’ll check out this Search Engine.
Thanks mkey.
“Everything comes from a space of bias”. My take home quote from James in this interview.
It does, brilliant interview. Shows, again, how young a race we are though. We are still fighting over what information is true. Intuitively we know, it’s just inherent.
Unfortunately we have been told not to trust ourselves, our inherent truth.
All good though, my other take away from this interview was community. Community drives the community. Interesting, in this world of instant gratification we come full circle to rely on community.
Be it community with our fellow humans, or cyberspace driven community. Seems like growing your own food wasn’t such a bad idea eh?
In Lak’ech
We should trust nobody and all browsers and search engines are conflicted and non-private.
DDG labels corbettreport.com as “B+” for privacy yet labels youtube as a “D” and it says youtube has poor privacy practices. Nuff said.
I an in Aus and I have been under attack lately and if I use Brave browser even with DDG I get warned that someone is trying to access my connection when I try to login to protonmail.
I have gone back to firefox with DDG configured for maximum protection. Yet when I use protonmail and I do a conspiratorial email protonmail starts disconnecting and won’t save email sessions.
I think government “homeland security” have surveillance AI teams and they are a large part of my problem.
Great interview! Parallel structures is the way. I liken these solution efforts to the way that BTC can fork. If you don’t like the way BTC is going with small controlled blocks, fork it. Now you have big and small blocks and you pick where to go. I think parallel structures are a kin to that thinking. Make a new fork and choose a path forward. 15 years ago we were all on the Titanic in the middle of the ocean and now, more and more, it seems there are islands and continents rising out of the water to greet us. Keep er moving James.
Well, Presearch doesn’t work on my Mac so…….
(all I get is a blank page)
Worth investigating https://www.mega-search.org/
AnimalsArentFood,
I like the way you told this story, complete with screenshot.
Thanks.
Xoxoxo,
Thanks for having done that (alerting the community and James about DuckDuckGo).
I really appreciate contributions like this in the comment sections.
They add substance and value.
It all sounded good, but…
I remember James telling a story about how his “Century of Enslavement: The History of The Federal Reserve …” was a top hit on Google one week and gone the next.
I ran a presarch for “federal reserve history”: 10 pages in, no “Century of Enslavement”.
Qwant.com: the first page, and there it is.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
I guess it is true what they say: truths are simple and self evident.
https://metager.org/meta/meta.ger3?eingabe=federal%20reserve%20history
Here your search query is no 16 on my end, not counting the first result which is metager’s call for help with funding.
Kyle Kemper as in Trudeau’s half-brother is a part of Presearch? Interesting! What a powerful exemplar of divisions in families and in our Canada.
Duck Duck Gone
rewatched this today, excellent and what a nice guy! great interview
Thankfully, even alt search engines delivers conventional content like mainstream news sites etc. so Joe Schmo can’t get troublesome truther results. Phew.
