  1. Thank you.

    Great series. Great episode.

  2. I just finished watching it. Since I watched it until the end of this episode I hope I qualify as one of the most dedicated listeners of The Corbett Report. 😸 One of the best things that happened in 2023 was that you finally got to meet Jimakudaio in person at my gig on November 25th and visited Brian’s community garden the following day. When we found out that you were coming to my gig, Brian and I had to pinch ourselves to see if we were not dreaming. Thank you for your excellent work. Have a Happy New Year!

      • You’re welcome, Brian. I’m glad you liked our music and used it for the outtakes video. Although you didn’t include the scene of our gig in this final version I think that was the right decision because it’s not relevant to the topic. I can still hear it in the background and that’s good enough. It’s been almost a year since I started playing with Mojo and I’m glad we met. Here’s a clip of us playing it for the first time at his gig in February of this year.
        https://youtu.be/IhcmS_KxGb8?si=nASl0k3CBtZwPcdM

    • Sounds like a nice T-shirt idea: “I watched the whole episode, and all I got was a lousy Corbett Report T-shirt.” 😸

  3. James, Broc & Shaun,

I want to thank you guys for coming to my humble little community garden here in Osaka and working to put #SolutionsWatch 32 together. I had a ball shooting that, and it simply melted my heart to see you guys using my bamboo as the improvised arm for your boom microphone. “Bamboom,” indeed!

But all jokes, soil and cow manure aside, there is one very prescient message in that episode that I think needs to be repeated far and wide, and that is when James says, “The Earth is abundant!”

Indeed, we are conditioned to think of the world as a fixed pie and that we are all fighting each other for a slice. It is our fear of lack. When we remember that the Earth will provide if we return to Nature and work with the soil again, then we can escape this Great Food Reset. And it’s not just about becoming more self-sufficient. It’s the liberated mindset that comes from growing your own food, learning from the community and passing this shared knowledge down to future generations.

Next year, my farming partner and I will be starting a class for kids in which we will teach basic agriculture skills like when/how to grow seedlings, seasonal planting, pollination, etc. For me, the greatest personal benefit of James’ #SolutionsWatch 32 video is that it will help me promote the class to the parents – perhaps making them future farmers as well.

Thank you again James et al. I hope 2024 brings you all good health, peach and prosperity.

  4. A great summary of 2023 Solutions Watch.
Yep, I made it through 1 hour, 47 mins, 57 secs. without falling asleep. I thought that I had seen them all, but I guess I had missed a few during the year.

One must understand the problem before one can find a Solution to it. Whether it be Black Rock, Facebook, Youtube, or Twitter(now X), I think one needs to see how these Mind Control Mediums became so powerful, and what motivated the people behind them to become Control Freaks before one can attempt to fix the problem. In that light, I just watch an interview linked below with Walter Isaacson who just finished his Biography on Elon Musk.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BDmC5u_MLE

Yep, it’s an hour and 33 mins, but I got through it, and now I think I can say that I know a thing or two about what makes him the way he is. One might expect that someone with a goal in life of getting to Mars to be be a bit off center, eh!

But then, who was backing him, and why?

  5. Had to watch it in two parts 🙂 pretty long for being on the web for me. Excellent stuff.

  6. The Corbett Bump!
Ok, 2023 is in the bag but where is the book. At least once a year since 2014 I ask you where’s the book? Did you see the matrix on the book you promoted, the bump. My word young man I can’t support you for ever, so where’s the book?. I got one foot in the grave, I would die happy if you would produce a book. Not THE book but any book. FCS what is holding up a book. Do you think your some Simon Ruskie? Learn to walk then run like reindeer from Saskatchewan to Teran, then start thinking you are something. Start looking over your shoulder and do whatever you English Majors do to get what you do best. THE Great international book. Now get busy!!!!!
    You are burning daylight.

    • I often get passionate in my comments and have to go find out why. That’s when I go to others for understanding. Like James here. I can mix it up (more like mix up) with other great minds, like a concoction, a libation that warms you ,flushes the cheeks and offers euphoric results. New Years is quite notorious for this. Navigation becomes problematic. What helps? What’s the solution? Yeah, a map, a guide book; but who would you trust to enter your wheelhouse to set the course.
I had to dig up the bones of some mid westerners, plainsman thinkers . A writer! James E. Gunn 1956.represents many of the ideas or concepts we encounter here. Ideas that want in our wheelhouse because…??? From Gunn’s novelette,”Witches Must Burn”.
The rest is an American concoction.

This is the world. A high powered car rocketing down the tollway carrying humanity willy-nilly toward an unknown destination. The car is human civilization, and I’m the driver. I built it, too, me the scientist, the engineer. I kept streamlining the car and soaping up the horsepower; I didn’t know where the car was going either, but wanted to get there in a hurry. Destinations weren’t my job. My job was to build a faster car.

      Continued…

      • continued…

It isn’t the scientist’s job. His job is to find the facts and seek the truth. He can’t concern himself with goals because his only reality is what he can locate and what he can measure. Goals can’t be measured; they’ re problems for philosophers. And if there are no philosophers or philosophers are wrong and you know they are wrong, what then, scientists? But you aren’t the scientist now. You’re the mass of humanity being hurtled along in a juggernaut you don’t understand toward a destination you can’t imagine. The driver knows the car is going in the wrong direction, too–just as you know, the driver isn’t really driving. The steering wheel doesn’t work.
You react blindly to stop the car in the only way you know.
You reach over and grab the driver by the throat and start choking him. You than realize that this person at the wheel holds your life and death in his hands. You did not choose him. He usurped that power by the nature of his inherited gifts and his education: he can betray you to the enemy, steal your job or wipe out the necessity for the job, change your society with his inventions, destroy the Earth itself.
Nobody asked for it, nobody wanted it.
It was the inevitable result of mans search for truth. Truth is power, and truth is a weapon against society. Society is built on conventions, not truth, and it must protect its vital falsehoods or die. Society is a stable thing. It isn’t going anywhere; it is where it’s going.

        Continued…

        • continued…

A society is exactly what it is; it’s the only thing it could be under the external and internal forces that acted on it. Whatever it is is good, whatever it does is right and proper, weather it’s building pyramids, crucifying an agitator, or burning witches. Society’s function is to protect what it has, to preserve stability above all things.
Ok ,but that static stability goes against the constant universal law of CHANGE! The creative thinker is the biggest changer of all. He doesn’t maintain values; he destroys them as Ford destroyed the horse, the railroad and the city. Western culture endured this turmoil for more than two hundred years because of the frontier; change was inevitable, and the creative thinker was useful in making change orderly.
Alas, the frontier is gone, and society can no longer afford the creative thinker. He threatens what is, and society cannot tolerate a threat.
So the passenger tries to stop the driver and slow down the car to a speed at which he can jump off.
He will only succeed in wreaking the car and killing them both. Think!. Too bad the driver of the car doesn’t have a hypodermic under the passengers seat of the car. Then he could anaesthetize the passenger and pull to the side of the road untill he could Figure Out the Psychology of this passenger, how to control him and where the DEVIL the car was going.
Maybe, TPTSB could develope a dynamic society that could tolerate creative thinkers because it had dynamic stability and dynamic security that would keep it from flying all to pieces when change applied speed.
Solutions are available to us. Creative minds will find the fulcrum to compensate the weight of change or the weight of inertia arriving at our destination of the universal law of recognition. It goes both ways.
All the more reason for a reliable road map or manual for navigating.
          A BOOK James.
          Happy New Year!

  7. Solutions Watch is why you are my favourite, estimado James.

You and Benny Wills inspired me to not be “the conspiracy guy” and become more harmonic with family and friends, such an important first step towards solutions because we need good communication and to listen to each other.

If I ever see you afk I’ll hug you like a teenager fan meeting her rockstar 🙂

    Un abrazo!

  8. Great summary of Solutions Watch and what we can do to implement change. Very important to get out there and do. So many overwhelming issues that can induce a sense of despair and desire to escape. In countries that have a modicum of liberty, it’s important to implement solutions.

Life is an active process, trial and error and getting out there in the world, etc. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

  9. When I click on the word “Odysee” under the image of the 2023 Year in Review Video, it jumps to Corbett’s video from December 12, 2023 on Open Source Education, not the 2023 Year in Review Video. Obviously, I am able to find and watch the 2023 Year in Review Video on Odysee and elsewhere, but I just thought I should let people know. Hope everyone is doing well!

  10. James I’m happy to report I’ve watched all of these and I watched this show in full. I appreciate the work. I take what I can use and try to adopt it to my life and share it with others where I feel it would be of use as well. I do not usually comment on videos but I felt after watching this show I wanted to share as there are some of us no doubt that watch and learn and try to adopt strategies learned and share the work with others but just don’t comment we’re doing so. Thank you so much for the work and enjoy your holiday! See you in 2024!

    • Yeah I second what travelinglass says here: it was a bit of a novel idea with the ep.1 bc it was so dark then: but that new course of Hope and Solutions was an excellent idea and ahead of it’s time: well done and I love this content. Sabotage has to be my personal favorite

  11. I would like nothing more than these types of episodes: let’s dive in for 2 hour into the series and deep dive into what we talked about etc. Not being sarcastic: I really like this. I WANT to spend time on this; learning, reading, going through the shownotes, etc. Thanks James, Happy New Year everybody and let’s goooooo

PS: 2019 was 7 years ago btw not 3

  12. The Corbett-Bump haha nice one.

Well there is a global community. What a time to be alive. I remember seeing Charles Jaco on 1991 Kuwait war theatrics on CNN and becoming aware of media BS and manipulation (i’m from 1976). By the time 9/11 came through I knew it was a sham when building 7 fell 6 hours after the initial attack.

Anyway; seeing now there are platforms like this and TLAV and MM is awesome.

  13. On the newspapers: I thought about starting one but there already is an excellent one here in the Netherlands ‘de Andere Krant’ (‘the Other Paper’). It’s great and a physical copy is a better reading experience. It really binds community together and you spoke to Elze van Hamelen, one of the journalists there.

So my experience was excellent: Supporting an already existing paper and helping to grow that.

  14. watched the whole thing. It is the best damn program in the alternative media bar none:

Correct James. If you did only this I would still come back for more. Thanks to Broc too: the visuals are as always fantastic (Hopium is my personal favorite)

  15. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year James!! Thanks for just being there! and thank your brother too. You are making a big difference and the solutions watch is a VERY important part of what you do!! It is only a matter of time that these solutions really create a parallel structure that we all can be free!!! Best of luck next year and to everyone out there, it is going to be a doozy..

  16. I see no solutions here.

On a more serious note, you can guess how much time it took to churn out the content when the review alone takes almost two hours. And I would say that in any process of change and education looking back at what was achieved and learned is the most instrumental step.

One thing I’d like to share in regards to one of the discussed topics of water purification. Sometime early spring this year I have started distilling water. The process of adaptation I found went well. However, mid September I ran into a kink and crashed quite badly for a few days. In retrospect, I probably peed out electrolytes and my just fell apart.

General weakness, mild body temperature increase, exhaustion, my ability to concentrate went down the tubes and after some days of lousy sleep I really felt gutted. For several days I kept drinking quite a lot of water while my appetite cratered. Quite a lot coming out and not much but clean water coming in.

I started reading into these general symptoms and one alarm immediately lit up: low electrolytes. It made a lot of sense right off the bat considering the distilled water input and rather low sodium intake, since I consume less and less industrially processed “food” and don’t have the habit of adding salt to my meals.

After adding about 1.5 grams of salt per liter of water, I sprang back up inside of 12 hours. Water retention increased, thirst subsided and after about one week I had recovered fully. After reading into it a bit, what it takes it seems to be:

-> potassium intake needs to be quite high (probably no other way to achieve this but by having a large leafy greens salad daily)
-> a healthy does of magnesium should also be coming from the leafy greens, various supplements will also help. One should feel an immediate positive effect to vitality after providing sufficient magnesium
    -> regular salt NaCl
-> “nu salt” CaCl, apparently a good source of calcium

It seems there is this thing called the calcium pump that keeps the cells electrically charged and without stable electrolytes it will go out of whack. I’m no expert on the subject, but do be aware. The body needs to be given what it needs.

    • Wow, Mkey, what a close call. Glad you’re back from the brink.

Here’s a tip. Use Celtic or Himalayan Sea Salt and add Potassium Chloride to it, maybe 3 or 4:1. (KCl tastes terrible by itself.) NOW brand makes KCl and most health food stores will have it.

Always salt your food. In the majority of people, salt does NOT cause high blood pressure. That is yet another medical myth from the md idiot savants and their handlers. Also, to soups and stews always add sea weed. In fact, if you can, eat sea weed in some form every day. A particularly tasty form is Ginger Kelp Crunch from Maine Sea Vegetables.

      Happy new year.

      • There was no close call, I was just very uneasy for three days. One of the sideffects of low electrolytes is brain swelling, but it never came close to that. I don’t think the condition was life threatening and didn’t want to leave that impression.

I already ran into suggestions for Celtic salt and Real salt. I can not obtain the latter in my area, but Celtic salt is available from France in various shops so I’ll order that in. I have been using Himalayan salt for a while now, that one is more readilly available in the stores. But, honestly, I don’t think there is anything wrong with the locally produced sea salt we have been using for decades. It’s common to have iodine added, the salt is otherwise just salt.

Salting food is something I grown out of doing because of family habits where it was the norm to add quite a bit of salt. And since my dietary habits have been changing I did not pay attention to restoring the salt intake ballance. It still took many months to get out of whack, the body has many coping mechanisms. Lessons learned.

I’ll look into locally obtainable sea weed, I never tried weeds. Makes sense they should be mineral rich. I understand it’s a very common food item in Japan.

I don’t think potassium supplements will do much generally due to the huge daily potassium requirement. But with my profuse greens intake potassium levels should by somewhat OK.

All the best to you and yours.

        • What you posted in the first comment sounds like a winner.
          You did some good homework.

        • If you can find it try Irish Sea Moss (Chondrus Crispus)

    • Mkey, you mention some real concerns in your post. I feel you need some fresh ideas that will lead to solutions. I think you are quite aware of your surroundings.
Take a look at this photo I took above my house on December 22,2023. How could something like this be of any concern to you? It would be very unlikely you had any cause and effect from over doing distilled water. That is of course assuming you drank large quantities and ate nothing more nutritious than cardboard and bleached white paper. After weeks you may become affected. Any real food will prevent being hypocritical of electrolytes and like the photo suggested there may be another brother in the woodpile. Dr. Ana Mihalcea and her blood work friends have proven the jabs, chemtrails and shenanigans have a direct cause and effect on your bloods conductivity. Much like comparing the brightness of a 12 volt flashlight compared to a 240 volt searchlight. We are electrical beings and you can endanger your life with chemical imbalances. Warranted or unwanted. Hearts need electricity and if the kind people who ran that group of chemtrails over my house, county, city and state wanted you dead it wouldn’t be traced back to them.
Fortunately this load was and did cause pulmonary irritation and many I know got it within a day or two after the unusual night time spraying. Two weeks now of constant coughing.
EDTA blood treatment and a few more ways to get the crap out of the system . Homie has a ton of data on cleaning blood, that may be helpful and available in your neck of the woods. I can only speak for myself and hope you are around a long time so we can compare notes about that other brother who never gits his due respect.

  17. Thank you, for another constructive year! And, Happy New Year.

    #theRealTrueCore #challengeAccepted

  18. I remember watching every single one of these SolutionsWatch episodes. Thank you for putting it all together like this. It really helps me to clarify, structure in my head and visualise how things are going to turn out for the better. I think visualisation is the first step in making things actually happen. Well done to all of the different people who have come up with these brave and creative ideas.

You are so important James. Keep doing what you’re doing.
    Happy New Year x

    • Same here but just listen to them.

      Keep doing them!

  19. Comment of the Year 2023 ! ELSA
    …and their Activist Shenanigans!

Tune to the 1:23:16 minute mark.

A myriad of actions like ELSA’s will drive the reptiles back into the swamp.

  20. Hi there James, I went to ‘search’ to find your ‘A Gentlemans Guide to…’ and it didn’t come up with anything? You mentioned there wasn’t a single comment on that podcast, so thought I’d leave you just one…no luck, not only did the search bar not come up with the podcast, even though I’d put in #solutions watch before the title…I did get to the podcast via another route, but the comments were closed. Thought I’d let you know what the search bar didn’t do. Haven’t yet had time to listen to that podcast, so cannot yet properly comment, sorry, but anyways, Happy New Year and thank you for all the lovely dirt you expose which we can compost, and all those other good things with which one can do all sorts of things 😎 !! YES, I care, It is making a difference, I do utilise whatever I feel I can, so please carry on regardless.💗

    • “I went to ‘search’ to find your ‘A Gentlemans Guide to…’ and it didn’t come up with anything? You mentioned there wasn’t a single comment on that podcast.”

      – James comment (on the lack of comments) was tongue in cheek as far as I can see, since at the end of said podcast declaring (apparently his version of “dictator for a day”? smiley) that he would not allow any comments and therefor disable that option for this particular one (apparently to avoid stupid commentors like me/us trolling/boting/sealioning the comments-section of a podcast dealing with idiots like me/us trolling/boting/sealioning comment-sections….)

      • I do believe that was done in an attempt to allow everyone the chance to internalize the information presented without looking into other people’e opinions first.

  21. Happy New Year, James. I plan on watching today, but saw the news. Hope that you and your family are safe with the earthquake that hit western Japan. Thoughts and prayers with the Corbetts.

    • I echo this. Sending all of my positive energy and thoughts your way, James. I hope you and your loved ones are OK.

    • I also hope you, your loved ones and friends are all safe!
Please if you get a chance, pop in to post something, perhaps
just a note or a short video reassuring us of your safety. 🤞

    • Sending prayers and positive vibes to you and yours from Canada James

    • Same here, hope that James and loved ones are fine. Hopefully we can see an update soon.

    • Yup, all fine in my neck of the woods. Thanks for the concern and enjoy the New Year.

      • Thank you for the update! Happy New year to you and your family!

      • Glad you and the fam are okay.

        Thanks for letting us know.

        Happy New Years! 🙂

      • Good to hear you are safe, all the best to you and your family!

  22. Ahaa! So you didn’t want any comments on ‘A Gentlemans Guide…’Having now watched it, and am in total agreement with you about how other peoples comments may well colour ones own thinking.

  23. Hello and Happy New Year!
There is a post on TBOT, where Ramiro announces his name change.
If it’s not a deepfake, than he is now called Hakeem Anwar.

  24. Happy New Year James and your family!

Yes keep doing these solution watch pieces as time and content (ideas) allow. This was a wonderful recap and I did a few and plan to do more in 24!

I hope you and the family were minimally impacted from the earthquakes from a day ago. Always tragic natural disasters.

    Cheers and gratitude.

  25. Like many, I’m leaving a comment hopeful to find out any possible updates or information on James and his family’s well-being about 72 hours now after the intial earthquake. Pray that all is well with James and his wife and kids. Long time subscriber and supporter.

  26. “Do not call conspiracy
    everything this people calls a conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
    and do not dread it.

The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread.

    He will be a holy place;
for both Israel and Judah he will be
a stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.
And for the people of Jerusalem he will be
    a trap and a snare.

    Many of them will stumble;
they will fall and be broken,
they will be snared and captured.”

Bind up this testimony of warning
and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.

I will wait for the Lord,
who is hiding his face from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my trust in him.

Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.

When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.

RE: #14 – Testing and Filtering Your Water – #SolutionsWatch (Andrew Hoffman)

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) and the PFAS “forever chemicals” (e.g. PFOA=Teflon & PFOS=Scotchgard) is mentioned by Andrew.

I want to plug this online publication…

A heads up for Corbett Members, sometimes EWG et al will taint the landscape with official narrative Climate Change stuff, but they do have an excellent record of exposing toxins going back many years.
In a FOIA document that I was reading a month ago, the pro-fluoridation Dental Lobby was trying to marginalize EWG…so we can assume that EWG was over the target.

I have done some deep research on PFAS, and am still currently spending countless hours on PFAS, fluoride, lead, toxin induced behaviors and other related topics. Last January/February I was on the phone with the Region 6 EPA (which includes Oklahoma) about the PFAS monitoring.

With EWG documents/links, I pitched a Dallas PFAS story. NBC 5 ran the story.
On September 1, 2023, NBC DFW Channel 5 had a news segment: (with 2 ½ minute video)
PFAS Regulation in water supplies to affect Dallas and Fort Worth

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) – LINK
During the first quarter of the year, Dallas Water Utilities took 30 monitoring samples from the tap at each of three facilities: Elm Fork, Bachman and East Side.
Dallas Water Utilities had some alarming results for several types of multi-fluorinated “Forever Chemicals” in the water system.
Two common “Forever Chemicals”, PFOA and PFOS, had levels above the legal limit as proposed by the EPA.
Two other chemicals, PFBS and PFHxS, rang alarm bells by hitting the EPA’s “Hazard Index”.

Dr. Bruce Lanphear, who spoke for 6 minutes on November 7 at the Dallas water fluoridation committee, has published scientific studies on PFAS.
Dr. Philippe Grandjean is world famous for his PFAS research. Both will be testifying in January/February for the EPA Fluoride Trial. https://fluoridealert.org/articles/fluoride-lawsuit-update-nov-2023-new-details-trial-dates/

That means that, for the two most important PFASs (PFOS and PFOA), the limit is about ten time too high, says Philippe Grandjean. We have repeatedly seen that PFAS was more toxic than we feared.
      1 nanogram/Liter = 1 ppt (part per trillion)
Budz-Jørgensen and Grandjean believe that the health-based limit should rather be 0.2 nanograms per liter, or 0.2 ppt (part per trillion)
The EPA’s proposed legal limit is 4 ppt for PFOA and PFOS

      – UNIVERSITY highlights: Small amount of fluoride harms fetus
One of the world’s most famous scientists, Professor Philippe Grandjean (featured in countless TV & News articles) will be testifying in February during the final stage of the Citizen’s Fluoride Lawsuit against the EPA (TSCA).
Well-known for its toxicological research, the University of Southern Denmark point-blank states this fact: “Even an apparently small amount of fluoride transferred from the mother during her pregnancy to the fetus can damage the fetal brain development.” And the University describes how Grandjean played a key role on a long-term North American study of 1500 mother-child pairs.

      • Thanks for the in depth information on systemic fluoride ingestion. Do you know if brushing teeth with fluoride toothpaste is also similarly toxic. I would assume that because we spit out the toothpaste, only a small amount would be ingested.

I will start looking for non fluoride toothpaste. To be honest, the products I’ve found without it are kind of funky. Also, sometimes it’s not an option unless I order it on Amazon.

        Thanks!

        • cu.h.j,
I saw this several days ago and wanted to pass along a home remedy.
Some old dentist had a YouTube touting Grandmas home made tooth paste. He gave a list of beneficial affects. I was researching some alternative tooth probiotics trying to head off some issues and this old guy popped up. All I can say it worked better than the probiotics.

          1 tablespoon baking soda
          1 teaspoon baking powder
Tad of salt, about 2+ pinches
          3 drops peppermint oil
          1 drop spearmint oil
          1 drop iodine
Couple of teaspoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide to make into thick paste Brush gently tooth and gum. Lasts about a week. I had been using David’s which worked well.
The jist is to neutralize the acids and favor alkaline pH. Introduce calcium, tri and mono.
I add a dollup of David’s for the crushed limestone , calcium carbonate.
And as Corbett says, milage may vary, use wisely.

          • Thanks, I’ll check it out!

  29. Happy New Year All! I am brimming with pride having coped a mention in the SW #29. When my daughter’s friends have a sleep over, we still read Tuttle Twins (casting the net further). Our favourite is ‘Food Truck Fiasco’, featured at bedtime so many times that we now refer to it as ‘FTF’.

    • 🙂
That’s so warming!… I get the mental images and my heart smiles.

      • Thanks HomeRemedySupply. Always wonderful to hear from you.

  30. Re: #32 – Community Gardening – #SolutionsWatch

This is a video presentation I put together for a talk I did at a local Horticultural Society meeting in 2023. It offers in depth information on importance of seed saving for communities.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCc0lTsMTeA

In the video I explain how saving seed not only serves to save one money and ensure food security for one’s household (and local community) but, it also offers one the unique sense of satisfaction that comes from the knowing that each successive year seeds are saved the varieties of seeds are becoming more genetically customized (via the natural processes inherent in seeds adapting) to flourish in the specific climate and soils they are being raised in.

I also share information on what Vandana Shiva describes as “Bio-Piracy” and how we can resist this corporate fraud and profiteering which is threatening the stability of our global food supply.

As I mentioned in my article titled 24 Reasons To Start A Garden In 2024 I also consider the act of saving and sharing heirloom seed as an act of sabotage as it throws a monkey wrench into the machinery of the global corporatocracy (that seeks to own all seed, buying out and shutting down the small family owned companies, seeking to patent what they can and perpetually profit from their false claims of owning intellectual rights to the genetic fabric of life).
Each time we save and share seeds (and share the resulting abundance of crops) we are taking steps towards divesting from/boycotting centralized food and monetary systems which are corrupt and do much harm to the Earth and our collective future.

Seed saving is an act of co-creating with the forces of nature to resist corporate tyranny and it is an act of faith for it means holding that hope in our hearts that each spring we will plant those seeds and share the resulting abundance with our family, friends and fellow community members.

    • Thanks for sharing Gavin! Working on our garden helped us truly understand how abundant and amazing Mother Earth really is. I’m interested in your book so I’ll be looking it over for sure.

      Keep up the good work!

      • @j.zam

        Thanks for reading/watching 🙂

That is beautiful. I am so glad to hear that your choice to tend the living Earth and grow your own food has helped you see through the fallacy of artificial scarcity that so many people have fallen for.

Since you are a Corbett Report member, I will throw in the bonus heirloom seeds I described in this comment https://www.corbettreport.com/solutionswatch-communitygardens/#comment-158629 (which I saved from our garden) with a physical copy of my book if you decide to order a copy.

Thanks for your interest in my book and thanks for the thoughtful comment.

  31. Hey James,

Happy 2024 to you and your family!

I’m pretty sure this the first time I post a comment here but I felt compelled to do so since I am one of those “strange creatures” that watched the full episode until the end. In my opinion, all the content you produce is truly educational but I especially appreciate your Solution Watch podcasts. As you pointed out, I have seen too how we tend to get caught up watching what is wrong with the world (human nature, perhaps) and how we have to make a conscious push to get more interested in the solutions. I hope others in the alternative media answer your call and we start seeing more solutions focused content. My guess is that those programs/podcasts still won’t match the number of views “regular” content get but still are well worth the time and effort. At the very least, here is someone who truly appreciates them!

Thanks again for your great work and keep it up through 2024 and beyond!

    • Hello, first time commenter.

I have to share something on human nature with you, it’s one of those matters people have been propagandized into completely misunderstanding:

There is nothing wrong with human nature. It’s working perfectly and predictably, but people are being fed garbage and are being abused. The processing of information has been compromised and the output has to follow suit. It is exactly thanks to reliability of human nature that the great inversion could have taken place, it could have not happened any other way.

      • Hey mkey, don’t get me wrong…I’m not saying human nature is wrong, just that it has a strong tendency to focus on the negative and not so much on taking responsibility and work on actual solutions. For that, I believe, we need an extra conscious push that goes beyond our human nature.

  32. Yes, yes, YEEEEEESSSSS! James, you have my FULL support and encouragement (I like to think it might make a difference) in continuing to spend precious time and energy into SolutionsWatch. I was digging an ever deeper black-pilled, doom-scrolled-out hole for myself until I found Broze’s “How To Opt Out of the Technocratic State” and finally I am regaining in clarity, energy, sovereignty, agency, etc…

  33. How to build a community; minute 16-19.

I’ve made three videos about this in which I try to show how easy this can be. I agree: just find regions outside the urban concrete jungle and find a way to start working in basic jobs. Is it really that easy? In the rural areas of Spain it seems so.

James and all the others here, keep going!

Some were asking for suggestions of other freedom-minded content for kids, so here’s one if you’d like to check it out!
Gino Volante, my husband, is an ex-early childhood education teacher who is now making a radio show/podcast for young children (3 to 7 years old): https://thesecretkindergarten.com/.
It’s an enjoyable podcast for the whole family that is thought provoking, fun and encourages connecting with our young. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
