    • Thank you soooo much for featuring iain and this topic once again . Please note the ongoing „ digital twin“ initiative from the eu in regard to this matter . I myself try to raise attention to this developement in my surrounding , eg friends etc… which is pretty difficult , but i do see raising interest from people. In a mainstream media newspaper in germany the name of curtis yarvin was even disscussed . No matter to whom you talk to here in germany ( of course with some exceptions) , nobody trusts the gov anymore ( because peoples lives getting harder and worse by the day ) which i see as a good „ humus“ and incentive to get them to doubt what they are told about the „ green paradise „ which is about to come when we just let these psychopaths go on and trust them

      • The Wikipedia link is for a place called “Prospera.”
It’s an island off the coast of Honduras. They’re trying to make it into a libertarian community, exempt from Honduran laws and taxes. (Pretty much what Iain lays out in this Corbett interview)

The whole concept is creepy, but the cherry on top of everything is that it’s an island. They try to make the isolation of an island a selling point.
If you have to turn over control of all your assets to the techno-King / Feudal lord, and you’re on an island, if things take a weird(er) turn, what are you going to do? Swim?
Even if you have some kind of boat, you’re going to have to deal with the water patrol.

Remember how Jim Jones lured all his followers out to Guyana?
He lured people out on false pretenses and straight up lies. He faked photographs of food and supplies to lead his followers to believe that their lives would be more fulfilling there, than in California.
Then all these people came, and were trapped. He overworked his followers, fed them starvation rations, and held marathon sermons throughout the evenings.
In the end, he could not allow anyone to leave with their lives.

I think about Jim Jones, periodically. Especially when some charismatic personality starts trying to sell some isolated, jungle real estate, with a side of spirituality.
It’s not a huge leap to consider that some of these tech bros have god complexes, and would completely snap, under the right combination of stress and circumstances.

I personally avoid islands. Just in general.
I also want to avoid jungles. I don’t want to fight alligators and critters if I’m trying to escape a despot.

  1. Wasn’t there an elected guy from Alaska or his dad who was revealing the Technocratic stuff years ago??

    Or…

Zbigniew Brzezinski Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era (written 50+ years ago)

“We have a large public that is very ignorant about public affairs and very susceptible to simplistic slogans by candidates who appear out of nowhere, have no track record, but mouth appealing slogans”
(Drain the swamp, Make America Great Again??)
    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“People, governments and economies of all nations must serve the needs of multinational banks and corporations.”
    (Digital Banking??)
    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.
    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”
(Digital ID, health, Credit Score, etc. much like China??)
    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“Shortly, the public will be unable to reason or think for themselves. They’ll only be able to parrot the information they’ve been given on the previous night’s news.”
“…National sovereignty is no longer a viable concept.”

  2. Time and time and time and time again I am on the phone with a government agency or business or bank and they want to identify me, for some strange reason.

So they say “Can I send you a text message or call you on your phone?”
And I always say: “No you can’t. I don’t have a smart phone and my landline can only handle one call at a time.
    Next question?”

  3. I would like a copy of this book but it seems they don’t “ship” to my location. Iain Davis sounds like a Londoner, I’m in the Scottish Borders. We don’t need ships to post within the UK.

    • I think there is some issue with non-U.S. addresses due to the publisher being in the U.S., but I still recommend sending them an email to let them know you are having issues.

The ordering is currently only for pre-orders, so you will be waiting no matter where you are.

    • Hi davidmcbain

The book is published by PaperCut publishing and is currently available for preorder internationally but we are having a few teething problem with finalising a reasonable price for distribution outside of the US. The book will be distributed in early 2026 by which time we will have ironed out the distribution kinks.

      Sorry about that.

      Iain

      • Just to add, please select a cheaper delivery service they are available in the drop down box.

        • Thanks Iain,

          I’m looking forward to it.

        • @Ian Davis

I see that Papercut Publishing lists the book as (going to be) printed in Canada. Is that going to be printed by a POD service based in Canada?

Or does Whitney Webb have her own printing gear/crew in Canada?

Or does she contract with a different printing company in Canada for larger printing runs?

(The reason I ask is I am assessing all my options for my second book right now)

Thanks in advance for your time.

      • Greetings Ian!

I really appreciate your putting this book together.

I have been impressed with your writing and presentations in the past few years.

One discussion/debate you were a part of where I especially valued your input was the one you did with Tom Luongo, Matthew Ehret and Riley Waggaman titled “Panel: “Russia & the Great Reset – Resistance or Complicity?” back in 2022 (for those that missed it that are stumbling across this comment, here is a link to my thoughts on that debate: https://edwardslavsquat.substack.com/p/yes-russia-is-complicit-in-the-great/comment/5980013 )

Now regarding your book, your mentioning how we should use barter and trade as a means of decentralized exchange to subvert the technocratic control grid towards the end of the interview with James made me think about proposing a barter exchange.

Would you be interested in trading a copy of your book for a copy of my book (once you have physical copies available to do so after printing) ?

My book is basically a trail map to boycott Big Ag and Big Pharma through turning a handful of seeds into food and medicine (while also enriching the soil through composting so your garden produces even higher quality food each year).

I`ll share a link to my website in a separate comment so you can learn more about my book.

I would enjoy boycotting the banking cartels transaction fee and surveillance scams through trading directly with you (book for book) but I am totally willing to pay you in fiat for a copy if you prefer that.

        Keep up the great work!

  4. Excellent interview. More great work from Iain. I wonder if these “sovereign states” would have geographical or virtual boundaries?

It’s also good to remind ourselves that AI cannot function without electricity, and as Iain said, corporations cannot function without our input.

  5. VN Alexander and I would like to interview Iain on a solution to the TechnoState from my book, How to Dismantle an Empire. What leaves us vulnerable to their scheme is that there’s no real life community protecting our sovereignty. We are trying to have a currency with global trade value, but remain anonymous and autonomous as individuals. That’s not possible.

Mine is a system of community self-rule where the first step is taking back money creation from the bankers through the mortgage. Iain’s ‘just say no’ solution keeps default ownership of all property in the hands of international banks. If they own the houses, they own our labor.

One correction to Iain is that gov’ts don’t issue the money, banks do. So the authorization of corporations to issue their own currency is actually creating a precedent that we, as communities, can use–not for global exchange but for local goods and services, backed by housing.

Mine is a perfect anarchist monetary system, and I challenge anyone to find a more decentralized one that can’t be usurped. We would love to talk to Iain and get his response, because we’re in perfect agreement that he’s defining the problem with absolute accuracy.

    • Hi Terez, sure happy to do so. I agree that governments do not issue currency. I used the term FIAT in the interview to acknowledge that is what most people consider to be the monetary system. The private issuance of money is another key topic in the book.

The massive shift is that the GENIUS Act has now formalised the private issuance of the world’s leading reserve currency (in effect) within the so-called fiat monetary system.

My contact details are on my about me page: – https://iaindavis.com/about/

Happy to discuss anything with you.

      Iain

  6. I am a member of the virtual world Second Life and have been for 19 years. Second Life has it’s own currency called Lindens. Lindens can be exchanged with dollars and euro’s. You can buy lindens through paypal and you can exchange lindens for euros. So Second Life has been using digital curencies for years without realizing what it could lead to. I have been thinking about the relevance of this when Meta recently purchased Second Life from the Linden Corporation.

    • illbenice

I was reading “The friendly Orange Glow” about the PLATO system, which was the ‘internet before the internet’ , and they were already having people doing Gold farming and swapping in game items for cash back in the 70’s.

  7. And I forgot to say you can also exchange lindens for dollars. The current rate is 265 lindens for $1.00. To date Meta has not made it’s purchase of Second life to the general public.

  8. Hi James and all

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to discuss and promote the book. No sooner had we completed the video than I logged into the Substack system in the UK to find my chat function now requires me to verify myself in order to chat with fellow Substackers. This is a direct consequence, though Substack have seemingly opted unnecessarily to implement this measure, of the UK’s Online Safety Act (OSA).

Once again we see the major private sector platforms working hand in hand with the public sector to impose censorship on all of us. Something I stress in the book is the nature of this global public-private partnership (G3P) and that the digital implementation of the Dark Enlightenment and Technocracy by multinational corporations and governments working together is not theoretical. It is a current reality.

    Thanks again.

    All the best

    Iain

    • Hi Iain
Thanks for everything you do. Talking of verification, its enough to make you pull your hair out isn’t it? (for some of us!)Today I was asked to verify my address whilst I was trying to send my daughter some money for Xmas. Transaction on hold until address proven. Anti-money laundering and all that for the little people. This is with a bank that I have had an account with for 8 years so they know who I am and where I live. Toys, pram and everything all completely trashed… I look forward to buying your latest book. Best wishes

  9. People keep calling it “technocracy”, yet almost none of the wannabe rulers have technical background. They are mostly lawyers, bankers, and what not, even drop-outs, so they employ engineers who do have the technical know-how to make it happen.

Why do the technical guys do it? For money. That, combined with belief systems, is the most advanced technology for control ever invented. It works like magic, quite literary.

The good news: it’s their only lever. Stop trading and start sharing – watch their wheels falling off. Iain almost got it, but failed to take this last step.

  10. Thanks James and Iain.

  11. ‘Free Joby’ is a new 24-minute documentary from investigative filmmaker Mikki Willis.

    See it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blXvZ0I8GdI
Toby Weeks has a generosity of spirit, endurance and courage while his story exposes the atrocities of the upcoming ‘Agendas’ for a beaten-down populace of slaves. When will people realize that we are living in the ‘Tower of Babel’ and that the ‘Chicken does finally come home to roost.’ Corbett’s recent interview with Iain Davis is on “Exposing the Technocratic Dark State”. Toby’s persecution is the epitome of injustice while Ghislaine Maxwell is on her way out of prison and Trump will probably pardon her to save his reputation over the Epstein Connection, so perhaps he will pardon Toby to help his ratings. I sent this petition and will be forwarding it to other websites.

  12. Queued video (excerpt from A.I., Mars and Immortality: Are we dreaming big enough?)
    https://youtu.be/FnlgwyVahCY?si=OhNe5CQaSjnXHT3q&t=1036

Ross Douthat: You would prefer the human race to endure? Right?
    Peter Thiel: Uhhh…
    Ross Douthat: You are hesitating…
    Peter Thiel: Yeah, well, I…
    Ross Douthat: Yes…
    Peter Thiel: I don’t know. I… I would… I would… ummm…
Ross Douthat: This is a long hesitation
    Peter Thiel: There’s so many… there’s so many… there’s so many… there are so many questions….
Ross Douthat: This is a long hesitation. This is a long hesitation. Should the human race survive?
    Peter Thiel: Uhhh…

  13. You should have the writer of the escapekey@substack.com on your show. S/he shows how the managerial world government is being operationalized in great detail. Science being used to support Ethics used to justify metrics that must be met by companies and individuals.
