My full, free 23-part Myth of Authority Masterclass
Since some may be new to libertarian perspectives, here is a short list of links you may find helpful. I’ve classified them based on the different ways people ponder issues:
Want to know how important things would get done without government?
- Reading material: “The Machinery of Freedom” by David Friedman; for private law specifically (rather than government law) try “Legal Foundations of a Free Society” by Stephan Kinsella
- Video: “The Case for Privatization, of Everything”, “Law without Government: Principles”, “Law without Government: Conflict Resolution”, “Law without Government: The Bargaining Mechanism”
Want a comprehensive overview?
- Reading material: “The Voluntaryist Handbook” by Keith Knight
- Video: “Anarchy 101”, “The Philosophy of Liberty”
Want to get down to the root of it, without sugar coating?
- Reading material: “Anatomy of the State” by Murray Rothbard, “The Most Dangerous Superstition” by Larken Rose
- Video: “The Fundamentals”, “The Whole Problem”, “The State is Too Dangerous to Tolerate”, “The Tiny Dot”
Want to focus on economics?
- Reading material: “I, Pencil” by Leonard E. Read, “Economics in One Lesson” by Henry Hazlitt
- Video: “The Attractiveness of Austrian Economics”
Want to focus on the absurdity of politics?
- Reading material: “The Problem of Political Authority” by Michael Huemer
- Video: “Election Day”, “I’m Allowed to Rob You”, “If You Were King”, “The Jones Plantation”
Thanks for listening!
I’m trying to remember who said, “If we don’t obey them they have no power.”
David
Probably some dude in a gulag just before they shot him in the neck….lolol. Maybe that dude whi was getting strapped into old sparky said it? Or some other guy being bent up and shoved in the back of a cop car because he didn’t believe the Gov now owned his house for tax evasion??
There is a massive difference between having POWER vs AUTHORITY.
A parent has authority, a husband has authority, a trusted leader has authority…..without authority there is no society-anyone telling you different is wrong or a liar
If grab a kid of the streets and throw them in my basement, if I crack a woman over the head, if i pull a gun on an unarmed crowd then I have “power” because I CAN “do my will” but I don’t have “authority” because my will is not legitimate.
There is a big difference because authority is always legitimate but power is only SOMETIMES legitimate.
Here’s your axes (the page script won’t let it show proper without making it ugly):

I’ve rembered. It was Howerd Zinn. https://www.howardzinn.org/ (BTW it was just his name I couldn’t remember. It’s an age thing – or it could be glyphosate.)
How many are we?
As always, James and his guest, Mark Maresca talk constructively of situations that seem to become clearer to us as many woke-up like me, but full of dangers to humanity. One of the most frightening I saw during Covid, being total acceptance of their “trust the science” BS and Co. Another? Transhumanism acceptance.
Yesterday I bumped into something that comes from a totally different angle, from a group named
“The price of freedom is eternal vigilance”. It is about a pattern of purposive, normative and pragmatic phases, the same pattern that appears in the Tree of Life’s (and many other things).
Many movements and revolutions (and again many other things) fail because something goes wrong in the accomplishment of the pattern. Sounds weird? Not so much at all, this is no prank and it becomes clearer and clearer although it sounds a bit complicated in the beginning, please have a look. James I’m sure you can do an amazing analysis of this pattern! And thank you again for what you do.

We live in powerstructures since the beginning of human civilization. Power is the centralization of these powerstructures, democracy is the decenteralization of power. The rulers and the people have opposite intentions.
Yesterday, Betar USA posted:
“ We urge all Jews to evacuate NYC”

False flag coming?
https://www.martinvrijland.nl/en/news-analyses/zionistische-organisatie-betar-roept-alle-joden-op-new-york-city-te-verlaten/
I need to contest one single point: if (actual) rulers would show their hand virtually nobody would take them seriously. People who have been thoroughly duped for decades would not bat an eyelid even if these people would show up on their doorstep bearing gifts.
Other than this, a great interview.
Edit:this was ment to be at the bottom on a new thread but shows up as being connected to other comments. Don’t know if that clutz me or the system here
The guy seemed very nice, but he is over optimistic on tech.
Sure a gazillion kids may be making new encryption tech in their bedroom but then everyone else is using WhatsApp , YouTube, and Windows or Mac…..and that’s not even getting into the CPU management engine.
Most people are MORE enslaved now then before because for every one who work up the internet dried out the brains of five others…..no one believed the newspapers or TV and they were more able to push back when it tracked and distracted by smart tech…….the ONLY peopel whi stay people will be the ones who either totally reject smart tech or who severely limit it to what they build themselves
Even Linux is on the outs thanks to big tech money and their Trannissary armies.
“ Linux in 2025: Less Software, Less Features, Less Tested… & Slower”
Bryan Lunduke
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tYyyN2x2XRA
After taking a look at that video, I looked at Bryan Lunduke’s X/Twitter page, and before long I was reading Gnome developers write up how he’s “fascist slime” and other nastiness (who thinks this is acceptable discourse, do they talk to their mothers with those potty mouths?), and reading Linux kernel creator himself Linus Torvalds go on a wacky clotshot defense rant in the same breath as rebuking vaccine discussion in the kernel mailing list, directed at Lunduke (admittedly less than diplomatic himself, calling the spike protein shedder mRNA poison victims/addicts a “new humanoid race”).
https://web.archive.org/web/20250624171012/https://blogs.gnome.org/alatiera/2025/06/23/the-fascist-maggots/

Jesus, what has happened to the culture we ended up here, where this is how different sides communicate now?! And why are programmers even talking about any of the above on Linux software blogs and mailing lists, anyway?
And since I avoid “mainstream” discourse, I forgot how crazy and sanctimonious clueless people can be toward we “conspiracy nuts.” It also amazes me how idiotic Torvalds is for an allegedly genius kernel dev/creator! I wish I could code like him, but wow am I glad I don’t think like him!
Unfortunately Linux has been on the outs for a long time. Most development is done by military contractors, and NSA exploits core software freely.

Nowadays, there are even distros like NixOS created by Thielverse contactors like Anduril, built in mind for killer robots to kill them terrorists overseas. Apparently NixOS imploded in drama and forks over it between the woke trannissary armies as you called them, and I guess, the anti-woke supporters of the actual (US) armies.
The culture war is vomit-worthy, seeing it infect software is just intolerable, and people like them almost make me wish I never learned to code, or had spent my time on something more useful. What happened to all the people who were just interested in computer science?!
“…What happened to all the people who were just interested in computer science…”
They were too nice.
🙁
In general nice people give way when weirdos ask for concessions…..because normal people just want to get on with their life and be “nice”. When you give up enough ground your suddenly the infection and the system starts trying to clean you out.
Stalin got to take over the Soviet Union because he did the boring job other people didnt care about and suddenly his people were all over the place.
But that said I do like Bryan Lundukes stuff, he actually seems like a decent person even if he does love Israel (which I can’t fault him in since at least he’s honest about it)
His Linux sucks videos were great, and his thing on IOT and “their watching you” are classics of open source intelligence….but if you have the skill why not make us a secure “Corbett “ disto? 🙂 maybe you could even convince Mr Corbett to install it, since I know he has at least one online friend who is on at him about switching. Lol
They’re watching you

His take on how the NSA must have copies of the internet is fascinating
Apropos of “the covid years” and false flags, I learned about this from Dr. William Makis’s substack: a possible bioterrorism false flag on July 4. You need to scroll down to page 9 and read the first few paragraphs as the report is actually 177 pages. I’d post the link to the substack, but I can’t seem to locate the particular posting at the moment.
https://biodefensecommission.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/National-Blueprint-for-Biodefense-2024_final_digital.pdf
P.S. Page 3 of the actual report is actually page 9–scroll to SCENARIO.
I need to amend my source: It wasn’t Dr. William Makis. It was Dr. David Martin and this is the podcast link:

Good show, yet I had a hard time hearing Mark Maresca at times. Perhaps it was his microphone or his speaking. James on the other hand came off very clear and easy to understand. He must have practiced delivery more than Mark. There are a lot of people out there with knowledge, yet few that can deliver the message in a clear and easily understandable way like Janes.
PS: I think Dr. David Martin would make a great guest
