  1. The saddest/funniest thing I’ve seen so far this month is all of those ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ flags being flown at half-mast. 🙂

  2. Thanks guys. I’ve been a subscriber for over a year and a half. I’ve never left a comment before. Just wanted to try to be the first to comment for this episode to say how much I appreciate your work, and that I hope to have more to say and contribute something in the future.

    • epochellipse,
Welcome to the Corbett Comments Section!
I am sure that I speak for all my fellow Corbett Members.
I gain a lot of insight from the comment sections. Glad you are here.

  3. The River “Sign”? Mais, non!

    • dots,
      you beat me to it,,

JEP, love your work but its phoneticly “sen” not “sign”. after the third time, I couldnt not say sumfin. It is slightly appropos seeing as the french are the champions of francophoning all other languages (incl spellings and pronounciation).

        • A bit shitebaggy of Jack Black to sell out his band mate like that, but, none of this would br a problem if people just went to gigs and took the show in, as nature intended, rather than this compulsion to film everything. Whoever took that video is a grass.

          • Went to see Dylan in Glasgow a few years back and we all had to hand our phones in and they were put in a locked wallet until after the show. Such a better vibe and experience all round.

  4. Decades living off the grid, far off the grid, I was never really aware of holidays and events that “shake the world” and so forth. 🙂 No TV for over 50 years, had never heard Obama’s voice until 2012 or so.

When I was first given cable TV in 2016 I didn’t even know who Trump or Brady where 🙂

Difference today. The nearly unavoidable advertising and public memes about “current” events even on just watching youtube videos, I AM aware of the “shake the world” events but still don’t watch them.

The contrived, scripted, sham life offered up as “reality” is so painfully boring, predictable, and sad. Humans have the potential for such greatness as is beyond their stultified minds, but the controller’s of the natural advancement of expansion of consciousness have been very successful in their dark agenda.

  5. Gary Barnett (he has a substack and is from Montana) has been trying to get to Japan to visit relatives for six years. Covid Con regs prevented this. Finally, this year, he and his family flew to Japan, but they were delayed a day due to the airline’s IT failures.
So, did Japan keep out Americans for six years over Covid? Is that true?

“Oh, I’ve got a lovely bunch of Coconuts!
All of them sitting in a row.
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head!”

  6. I would hope that people see the latest cyber glitch as a wake-up call regarding cash and henceforth insist on dealing only in cash. The more people that insist on this, the less the powers-that-shouldn’t-be will be able to roll in CBDCs and wallets.

    • in oz vendors were keen, on the day and after, for people to keep using cash. though In my town noone saw any blue screen boogymen. a few vendors agreed: “as long as theres enough cash bouncing from hand to hand we’ll be fine”. People are lazy until they’re push button life stops, I wonder if thats why they’re trying to make physical cash also digital, most transactions are done without cash anyway so the digital tracking and threat of sudden loss/stealing of ones assumed equity (cash on hand), is already well established.

  7. I’m trying to listen to the Bibi speech, but the pomp and ritual of it is so ridiculous.
It’s always been curious to me, since a child, how men in suits must cross their hands over their apparatus. ‘For the first time I can see this as a way to deny that power is at play.

Fifteen minutes in, he’s talking. “Iran’s axis of terror”.
    Yawn.
Evidently, those guys are paid to ass kiss, both the electorate and anyone else holding out funds. And evidently, Bibi is one golden arse to these . Suited Johns honoring their pimps.

    • I couldn’t bring myself to watch it either, but I read that they gave him 58 separate standing ovations in a 60 minute speech. It is just unreal. The depravity is just too much to grasp.

      • It’s interesting to learn, last evening, that Israel, which developed 5G, has nearly none whatsoever. They’re still on 2G there.
They all want that Gaza seafront property, to save us from “global warming”. As “public servants” , they figure they ought to drown first.
Banks going down. War will cover their asses/assets, that’s the money game. Now the MSM have the nerve to put out how so many people die of poverty. No shit, Sherlock. “Poverty”, just a virus some folks catch.

        • I honestly don’t know really anything about the 5G debate, I’ll have to look into that. I do know that Israel is pretty much using Gaza as a site to test out new weapons before they sell them to the US. A guy named Antony Loewenstein wrote a book about it not too long ago.

  8. Jason Breshears of Archaix.com is predicting islamic terrorism to happen and begin “taking peace from the earth” 2nd seal of the Apocolypse style, with a “great knife” (a great many knives). We’ll see if he guesses have anything to them.

  9. I’ve always been a “carry cash” guy. But, it’s so easy to forget going to the bank, and cash is getting more & more limited by the banks. Living in Vegas Valley I played poker, needed to get $5K now & then. Can’t do it anymore, with $800 being the most at the ATM. I saw the digital money coming, but I won’t be worried until cash is outlawed. Got Gold?

  10. I think I have ranted about how corrupt and imperialistic the modern day Circus Maximus that is known as the Olympics is in threads on here in the past, but I feel compelled to speak to this again here, now.

I used to obediently cheer for our modern day Circus Maximus champions but then I was forced to experience what the Olympics are really about first hand. The 2010 games forced me out of the town I grew up in (rent increased exponentially after Whistler/Van city won the bid and I had to abandon a position in a company that offered a stone masonry apprenticeship, when working two extra part time jobs on top of my first one still could not pay the rent).

When Vancouver got the Olympic bid for the 2010 winter Olympics (a modern day “Circus Maximus” that exudes Anthropocentrism and hubris) the statist bureaucrats in Canada also immediately began planning how they would steal more of unceded lands of indigenous peoples and pillaging the Earth in order to build the Olympic facilities and event grounds.

    (continued..)

    • (continued from above)

As early as 2007, indigenous people, the poor, the homeless and those who live on the land were experiencing the ripple effects of the imperialistic colonialism of the Olympic Games. The vast destruction of mountains, old growth forests, streams, hunting and fishing grounds and delicate ecosystems in which are relied on by Indigenous people; the closures of social housing and low income hotels; the high and increasing rate of homelessness; and the criminalization of Indigenous people and the poor are all part of the lead up to the 2010 Olympics.

Indigenous communities in the interior and the coast of British Columbia including the Secwepemc people of Skelkwek’welt, the St’at’imc of Sutikalh, the Pilalt of Cheam along with people from all colors and creeds were resisting the objectives and activities of the 2010 Olympics since 2003.

Those who stood up to defend their lands were criminalized by the Canadian state. There were hundreds of arrests of Indigenous people (with an emphasis on Indigenous youth and Elders) who protested Olympics 2010 and its objectives.

The Vancouver government appointed the Vancouver Olympic Committee to organize and plan the Winter Games. The Vancouver Olympic Committee, the British Columbian government, and the Canadian government began planning to build the venues for the games. After choosing the venue locations, the International Olympic Committee realized that the land belonged to indigenous people, and was in fact un-ceded land. Un-ceded indigenous land can be classified as land that is not under the protection of a signed treaty, but requires the permission of the First Nations government before being developed. This decision was not released to the public, and construction started without the permission of the First Nations peoples. This outraged First Nations groups in British Columbia, Canada, prompting them to start the campaign known as “No Olympics on Stolen Native Land”.

In response the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (VANOC) allocated $175 million dollars of tax payer money to militarize RCMP units to crush any resistance (they ended up spending over $400 million by 2008 and by the end of February 2009, it was finally acknowledged that the security bill would be over a billion dollars). Much of the security planning was driven by threat assessments conducted by the Integrated Threat Assessment Centre, a branch of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (or CSIS which is Canada’s version of the FBI).

What were those tax dollars used for? Well to crush dissenting voices and silence indigenous elders who spoke out about their land being stolen (so that fancy Olympic athletes could prance around on stages for camera crews) of course!

The militarized police units set up designated “free speech zones” in Whistler and Vancouver (which were chain link fenced in areas out of sight from the main events) and were the only places that people were allowed to protest. When they refused to be hidden away in ‘protest pens’ and protested near olympic events, police brutality ensued. This resulted in several deaths, including the death of indigenous elder Harriet Nahanee,, aged 71, after being sent to jail. She died because she was sent to Surrey Pretrial Centre, a prison for men and a noted hell-hole for women in poor health.

Needless to say, over a billion dollars worth of tax payer money later (spent on militarized police units to crush and silence dissent) the olympic corporations marched onward to steal their land, pillage the sea to sky corridor and set up their modern day Circus Maximus (built on the stolen lands of indigenous peoples and tainted by the blood of their peaceful elders that dared to ask that their traditional lands and the wildlife that lived there be respected).

      • Thank you for posting your comments and the link. I had no idea. Looks like these events are another means of ritual abuse and transfer of taxpayers’ money and property.

        • Since they landed. “Property”. All stolen. Soaked in blood.

        • @jo-ann

Thanks for reading what I shared and for the thoughtful comment.

My mom ran the ski school on Whistler mountain when I was young and she got me into racing (my family was very sports/outdoors centered with siblings skilled in hockey, volleyball and soccer) so the dream of standing on a podium as a gleaming example of physical excellence (having beaten all competition due to learned skill and hard training) was programmed into us from a young age.

My siblings kept on that path well into high school doing provincial scale competitions etc but I myself quit racing at about age 10. I was on skis since I was 3 and my mom is an excellent teacher so I was good at beating other people down the track, so I did not quit due to failure, but rather, looking back, it was because I intuitively sensed that that it would have taken the joy, grace and beauty out of the skiing experience for me (making it all about speed and getting the upper hand on someone else, rather than just being present and enjoying the gift of the experience).

Growing up after that I still did admire the Olympic athletes and games for many years until I saw the ugly side of what those games do to locals, economies, the less fortunate and the environment.

I think striving for personal excellence (physical and mental aptitude) is an admirable goal, I just no longer think that imperialistic and statist propaganda filled entities such as the Olympics are a beneficial vehicle to focus such aspirations through.

          Well said.

    • Thanks for talking about the never ending war of extermination.
There’s never been any question about whether North America would have a native North American “leader”.
Natives have to “disappear” for colon-izers to feel “comfortable and secure”.

That’s how Madrid screwed Barcelona years ago, also, with “Olympics”, that show of manly pride and rule in embodiment. Greek phallus worship, the phallus as weapon.

      • Throughout human history, might makes right.

If you have taken southwestern US studies, you know the native Americans Indians were brutal, love how “scalping” is considered benign, never an example of the brutal nature of particular American Indian Tribes. They would rape and pillage other Indians tribes, and they would indeed massacre women and children if men were not there to protect them.

But you use the word “colonizer” as a pejorative, that is BS. Just like today, I don’t blame those migrating to America from south of the US border, they are just looking for a better life.

But as always, when Europeans move to find a better life from oppression or starvation (see the Irish), it is looked at as collective guilt. It is about RICH VS POOR, not about color, to state otherwise is pure racism.

Humans are not the problem, white, black, yellow or brown, it is the system that creates wars and repressive religions and governments that often are the impetuous for migration. The systems that are built to destroy us societies and cultures SHOULD be the focus of the ire, not innocent human populations.

        • @Rexleonum

RE “the native Americans Indians were brutal”

That is equally oversimplified and misleading to unilaterally stating that “the Europeans” were brutal. Yes some of them were (and are) but both massive geographic regions (Turtle Island and Europe) birthed a diverse array of cultures with vastly differing cultural values and customs. In Europe, over the millennia, hegemonic, imperialistic perpetually expanding military empires (mostly centered around the church for a long time) did squash most other centers of cultural expression and diversity of customs and openly practiced traditions, but even so, pockets of the indigenous cultures of Europe persisted in stories, songs, poems and laws carved into stone in hidden places in the highlands.

The same is true of the diverse array of indigenous cultures that called (and still call) Turtle Island home.

Yes there were some groups that lived here (Turtle Island) that were militaristic, violent and degenerative in some ways.

That being said, History is written by the victors and those Roman and British empires who pillaged and destroyed the lands and peoples like the Druids of the British isles and First Nations of Turtle Island wanted to dehumanize and denigrate the image of those they slaughtered to make themselves feel and look better.

I do think that placing any culture, group of people or individual on some pedestal as pure is unhealthy. I feel we should be vigilant to make sure we are not romanticizing their past nor romanticizing the potential of their worldviews to provide solutions to the present challenges we face.

I acknowledge violent conflicts and rituals that existed in the Druidic ways and between the various indigenous tribes of what is now called North America, however I would suggest that we should keep in mind that demonization and dehumanization of the perceived “enemy” or targeted “sub-human class” of an empire is a time tested psychological warfare technique that has been employed in both real time conflicts and retrospectively as “victors write the history books”.

We do not live in a “civilized society”. That is brainwashing ( for more on that: https://youtu.be/fYVBjgHRmus?si=W4GASRrkZYXMd6ap ). We live in a society that covets profits and intellect over compassion and intuition and a society that champions competitiveness and callous domineering while seeing kindness as weakness.

This is a very sick and savage society we live in in the western modernized world, it is just covered with an array of masks wearing smiling faces, re-assuring us all how advanced, impressive, safe and cared for we all are.

All throughout history Statist empires sought to steal the land from and impose their will upon people who had chosen to live in close connection to the land and the forest by assigning them with the dehumanizing, condescending and derisive label of being “uncivilized”/”savage”

          (continued..)

        • (continued from above)

One way that the influence, overlapping belief system facets and collective choices of the human beings that called Turtle Island home differed substantially from those in Europe over the past few millennia was able to be clearly discerned by the condition of the forests, fresh water sources, ecological diversity and perhaps most importantly the depth and fertility of the living soil up until 1491 (and for quite some time afterward, until the imperialistic forces from Europe gained a foothold on Turtle Island and began their extractive monoculture agriculture and mining operations).

Regardless of if some cultures scalped humans or did weird ceremonies (or even had human slaves captured from other tribes) the evidence is clear that most of the peoples that lived here lived by an animate world view and (with a few exceptions such as some mound builders on the Mississippi that clearcut forests to built ostentatious structures and grow a monoculture of corn which caused an epic flood downstream) that translated into them only taking what they needed from the more than human world (and perhaps more importantly, in most cases their belief systems called for reciprocation for the gifts they received or took from nature.

Or, as Derrick Jensen puts it “they lived here for 10 thousand years and did not invent refrigerators, but it was not because they were too stupid to invent a fridge, but it was because their value system would not allow for the extractive industries required to build such a thing, and besides, the salmon stayed more fresh in the river than they do in a fridge”. (or something along those lines, for more on that watch: https://youtu.be/ImbnWSkqfig?si=PCAEYZjckyN45tC- )

The only “real” (tangible, physically observable and measurable) certainties we can observe about those peoples which objectively speak to how they lived (and how their way of life either aligned with increased or stable biodiversity or decreased/crippled it) is found in the soil.

The soils in the dominant European epicenters of imperialistic “civilizations” tell us the story of ecologically illiterate and/or greedy short sighted ways of living and interacting with the ecosystems they depended on to survive.

The anthropogenic Terra Preta of the Amazon and the deep dark soils of the Great Plains of Turtle Island (aka “north america”) however tell a different story about how humans interacted with the ecosystems they depended on to survive.

          (continued..)

        • (continued from above)

Anthropologist William Balée argues that at least 12% of the Amazon was directly or indirectly created by humans using “Dark Earth.” Terra Preta (literally “black earth”) is a manmade soil of prehistoric origin that is higher in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and calcium than adjacent soils. It controls water and reduces leaching of nutrients from the rhizosphere. Rich in humus, pieces of pre-Columbian unfired clay pottery, and black carbon, it’s like a “microbial reef” that promotes and sustains the growth of mycorrhizae and other beneficial microbes, and it has been shown to retain its fertility for thousands of years. In university trials, terra preta has increased crop yields by as much as 800 percent. It regrows itself when excavated.

William Devan, a geologist from the University of Wisconsin who is prominent in terra preta research, offers these comments: “The black terra preta is associated with long-enduring Indian village sites, and is filled with ceramics, animal and fish bones, and other cultural debris. The brown terra mulata, on the other hand, is much more extensive, generally surrounds the black midden soils, contains few artifacts, and apparently is the result of semi-intensive cultivation over long periods. Both forms are much more fertile than the surrounding highly weathered reddish soil, mostly oxisol, and they have generally sustained this fertility to the present despite the tropical climate and despite frequent or periodic cultivation. This is probably because of high carbon content and an associated high microbial activity which is self perpetuating.”

          For more info:

          https://web.archive.org/web/20210622043615/https://www.nature.com/articles/s41477-018-0205-y?WT.feed_name=subjects_evolution

William I. Woods, a soil geographer at Southern Illinois University says terra preta covers a surface area in the Amazon equivalent to the size of France.

As Charles C. Mann wrote, in a piece that drastically changed the perception about native populations in the New World before contact, contrary to the popular isolated hunter-gatherer notions of natives, the New World was a highly advanced civilization that manipulated their environment on a large scale. He believed that humans were a keystone species—that is an animal that plays a crucial role in the functioning of an eco-system.

Charles C. Mann writes about terra preta, “Faced with an ecological problem, the Indians fixed it. The indians were in the process of terraforming the Amazon when Columbus showed up and ruined everything.”

          • Great stuff, thank you.
You know what? They brought a money system. That’s how it was all done. And everything warring that a money system creates.

And that’s the last thing they’re ever going to be able to see or acknowledge, because it is the best system of slavery ever devised. Anarchy is impossible in a money system. Money is the slave master par excellence.

        • You have more opinion than knowledge. “Scalping” was introduced to the Americas by the Europeans, ditto rape. The testimonies of “while” females taken into tribes proves this. They were never raped. Many chose to stay and marry in. Many ran away again when “captured” by their relatives.
Ten thousand years of oppressions, poor Europe, and when they “found America/Jesus” they just naturally quit being oppressors. Soon as they landed. And found ultimate horror. People already lived here. What to do? They’re probably our oppressors. Thanksgiving proves that.
You sir are filled with hatreds, and see the “world” as such. That is your “world”, your “ideashpere”. Not surprising. European “nations/peoples” have been at war with one another endlessly.
And they came here to take and take and take. They took the hardwoods of the east to build their conquering navies. Then they took the entire planet.
Good luck denying it. The genocide of the Native North American is Europe’s crown, the Guinness Book of World Records for genocide. Look it up.
And you won’t be satisfied until every last native american is dead and gone. We know this, your policies have always made it clear. A war of extermination. We were just too human . We had to become murderers of the planet, like you, or else.
We wouldn’t be your slaves though. That’s why you had to keep importing blacks, until you simply changed the paternity law.
          Learn something, will you?

      • @openlens

I appreciate the comment(s) and your taking the time to share your thoughts on these topics.

I find it interesting to contemplate how the continuity of colonialism (while also keeping it’s overtly recognizable characteristics of physical pillaging, raping and theft at gun point) has now also morphed into an array of more subversive, stealthy and insidious methods that utilize psychological, biological, technological and (as you astutely pointed out in a comment above) economic/financial forms of colonialism.

In the frontier of the new corporate colonialism, skin color, religious background and genetic lineage often plays very little part in deciding whether or not one is targeted. All minds, bodies, cultures and demographics (outside the narrow scope of the 0.0001 percent of the population that makes up uber-rich oligarchs and their friends) are in the cross hairs.

Though, that being said, I do think that special attention is given to squashing, diluting or dismantling any remaining intact indigenous cultural centers, worldviews and communities in some cases as how they live and see the world is antithetical to the world view of the oligarchs (and serves to illuminate the immoral and unnecessary nature of their statist extractive hypercentralized systems) .

James has explored at some of the psychological forms of colonialism that are utilized in his piece on Delphi Technique https://corbettreport.com/qfc-delphi/ and his excellent series on the pathologization of dissent.

Olympics propaganda certainly uses the Delphi technique and as i outlined above, it is an industry and entity that has a long history of pathologizing peaceful dissenters.

I attempted to shine a light on some of the ways that the psychology/psychiatry industry engages in this new form of colonialism of the mind in a post on substack a while back as well (i`ll share that in a separate comment).

        Thanks again for the comments.

  11. It seems the (s)election, at least here in the SW is all about immigration and abortion, who’d a thought? I had a feeling when the “Supreme Court” over turned Row V wade, something was up, they wanted to make it an issue again.

As a “Democracy”, seems we don’t get to discuss real issues we all care about like, spying on Americans, Money to Israhell, Hedge funds buying up everything, forced Vaccinations, masks, or anything else that effects us ALL, nope, just abortion and immigration, that’s it.

Trump was almost as bad as Biden when it came to border enforcement, and he did not follow through on any of his border security promises. Though he may now, if he gets back in, he may build that wall, more to keep us in.

But NOTHING is more galling that Harris talking about abortion and “my body my choice”. Where the hell was that sentiment during the forced vax BS?! Such hypocrisy, sadly few on the left will see it as such, as they are truly lost, they wanted forced vax and mask mandates, sickening.

The ZIoComs have done a masterful job dividing much of the nation, all around Trump, he was a project many decades in the making…but what is the end game, it is still not easy to understand.

as one imagines up the ladder of influence, we can find varying projected “end games”.

They can change to suit whichever way popular opinion is swaying (hence sites like this). In this way, A few people can get away with ordering genocide as long as the general public is swaying in the docile hammock of pampered distraction,, which may be why a war criminal, cold blooded murderer, can get a standing ovation from,, whose representatives?

maybe not quite understanding is the glue that binds us as a species, an attachment to hope?

Still, its clear now, thanks to the speed and random access to info worldwide, that there’s a plan, and theres only a few people (are they people?), who have the blueprints. I doubt anyone has the complete picture, rather some have small pieces of a beyond the beyond puzzle, which is the whole point.

My guess is that people decide in favor of more power more domination, a desperate attempt to stay alive, because theres always a bigger fish, or out of addiction to a pain body/memory that can yield short lived bursts of empowerment,, dark side of the force stuff.

and/but so many people arent like that,, much. Yet just one violin off-key can cause an entire orchestra to stack. playing human with meaning, with all the bells & whistles , isn’t hard, but can get messy, if one gets sloppy about it.

,,stuck in the toilet, swimming next to turds of bad actors was never the expected plan of being born into a whole planetary continuum overflowing with abundance & beauty.

we humans sure have a unique way of expressing “the plan”.
