via Off-Guardian.org: The latest Independent Media Alliance panel discusses the principle of “free speech” and what exceptions (if any) should be made to it, including the age-old “fire in a crowded theatre” argument and the supposed “hate speech” exemption. They also tackle growing threats to free speech from both sides of the aisle in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination and how the right is embracing their own version of “cancel culture”.
Panel Members: Ryan Cristian of The Last American Vagabond, Derrick Broze of The Conscious Resistance Network, Jason Bermas of The InfoWarrior, James Corbett of The Corbett Report, Kit Knightly of Off-Guardian, Hrvoje Moric of Geopolitics & Empire, Carey Wedler of CareyWedler.com, Charlie Robinson of Activist Post & Steve Poikonen AM Wakeup.

Wowzers, star studied panel. !
Maverick In The Machine of Drew Treglia had a very good interview with Hrvoje Moric`.
I found it surprising how information I thought was old news could be new to some.

Not enough women on these sort of “intellectual” panels hey?
Must be at home doing the dishes and taking care of the kids, and… 🙂
My musical philosophy on this…
GONNA BE SOME HARD TIMES (song)

Not enough Carey Wedler & Derrick Broze. More than enough Jason Bermas.
Never heard of the first two. Got kicked off of Alex Jones’ site back in 2007 or so when Bermas put out his “Loose Change” video. Don’t like any critical comments.
For me, just too many personalities with too many opinions to keep up with or pay attention to. The yin and yang of it all IMO is the Internet does offer a greater level information resources but it also is home to far, far too many wannabe gurus of knowledge with so many just cut and pasting others ideas and opinions and trying to make a living off of it.
And if you tell too much truth:
“We live in an age oversaturated by countless podcasts, cable news and tweets
William Cooper, Eagar, AZ”
BAM, you’re dead.
It is pretty damn obvious where the problems are and who are causing them and all the round table meetings and events etc. aren’t really gonna get the job done, just more gnashing of teeth and clucking of tongues.
The Charlie Kirk nonsense is just another waste of time and energy to break down the direction and effectiveness of what is left of authentic social/political activism. No autopsy report, no body seen, no burial attended, no blood on those carrying the “body,” event site wiped clean, Israeli Zionists taking over TPUSA and it’s 80+ million dollar bank, no evidence of “shooter’s” guilt, the fast food joint where his picture was taken has been totally emptied and scrubbed clean, and on and on.
You gots to ask yahself, just who has the power and ability to do pull something like that off. Yep… Our history is our foreseeable future, since neither the beliefs and practices, nor the controllers profiting from it have changed.
But what do I know, I’ve no podcast, book to sell or starring at any event 🙂
For years there was an ongoing reality-based joke that there “are no women on the Internet” because to find them discussing anything you had to seek out celebrity gossip chat rooms or register with an online boy band fan club.
My email application has been sending emails to their folders and not to Incoming because of some box I ticked I guess. Just saw yours.
The power these days of Feminine influence has become scary for many young men trying to find a mate. The women figured out how to use the web as a weapon I guess. :-/
The Better Bachelor is a pretty decent show that talks a lot about the madness.
In harsh reality for the survival of humanity women should take care of home and family and make smart, loving children and not be given the vote. They have lost their inner focus and are trying to be men IMO.

At 12 min or so we are again shown why Mr Corbett is such a valuable resource that I’ve heard people on both left and right of the podcast world mention.
He actually brings up facts and history and knows what he is talking about, unlike the vast majority of even competent talking heads on the net.
Obviously if we’re talking free speach it is a negative right. Meaning you can’t be prevented from speaking, that is in contrast with a positive right, where you expect people to give you a platform to exercise your right on, which free speech is obviously not. I got confused when James mentioned that he’s not a free speech absolutist only to discover he was referring to the positive right, which in my opinion has nothing to do with free speech
Ok, finished the video now, a bit disappointed. I thought i’d get to hear different opinions on the nuances and possible limits to free speech and instead it was mostly unrelated tangents and complaining bout big tech 🙁 Oh and concerning the constitution i’m with Larken, it’s politicians’ scribbles on a peace of parchment
Make that speech and piece, or spiech and peece, it’s late i need some sleap
Hughsername
It may be just scribbles, but I’m reminded of that movie where Thomas Moore likened the law to a forest….and if you cut all the trees down to catch the devil you don’t have a tree to hide around when the devil turns on you.

That said the constitution was written to govern a better quality of people then we have these days.
Somewhere in this panels progress James talked about his readers, listeners and commenters . His dislike was obvious.
I have always found a value of the comments section but never put it above the content creators’ purposes. Some comments are triggering and completely irrelevant, at least until they are not.
This charming young woman discusses the creative writing dilemma and why , possibly why James so detests the comment section of his publications.

@gbw
There is far more brilliance and intellectual honesty and humor to be found in the comment’s sections of the few sites I go to. The Gateway Pundit for instance is usually people trying to outdo the others in humor or some such nonsense but there are people there like “Jack” who nails it and for me worth looking for.
But in general the “reporters” are almost at a high school level…bad from spelling to click bait headlines. Pro Israel, Trump, and all the other themes of the day.
I’m guessing that there are lots of stalkers here that enjoy our comments but for whatever reasons are unable to share their thoughts and ideas.
That is why when I get ragged on for putting up my videos I don’t care because I am assuming those folks and new folks in the same behavior have not yet listened or read them.
And if indeed James’ opinion of us is negative, it may well be deserved. I don’t care, he never comments to me on anything so my goal is other readers and commenters.
I could have done without this Bermas character but Mr. Corbett was a class act as usual.
1:05:00 mark – It takes a screw-driver.
James Corbett says:
“What can we do? What can we do?……”

Some ok points but not a great discussion. The first point is everything should be subjected to criticism & anyone who would seek to remove free speech can only have evil intensions. Of course inciting violence ought be the only exception. Intimidating folks for speech they don’t like & even killing folks for it is what all tyrants do from the onset. Interesting Quote here by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn which may happen today Re losing “Free speech” & allowing “Digital ID “Prison” systems (which will be complete censorship & eviscerate free speech)- “You must understand, the leading Bolsheviks who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred they tortured and slaughtered millions of Russians without a shred of human remorse. It cannot be overstated Bolshevism created the greatest human slaughter of all time. The fact that most of the world is ignorant and uncaring about this enormous crime is proof that the global media is in the hands of the perpetrators.”
What’s most interesting is that the ‘in-famous’ cry of ‘Fire!’ In a crowded theater, refers to a cry for PEACE!!! at a dawn of a world war.
Most who cried for peace were incarcerated.if not assasinated
It would have been good to also hear the inputs of the likes of Catherine Austin-Fitts, or that equally well researched (as James) font of knowledge, Whitney Webb on the subject being discussed. We live in very much a ‘man made’ world, even though there have been plenty of females pulling strings in the back ground, but to me it seems a fact that it is far more a manly thing, as instances, to instigate war, to leave home to be a spy on the move, to want to smash an opponent physically, to want to be a leader, to make scientific discoveries, to want to fly jets or drive fast cars than it is a female list of desires. Of course, I have to say, before I’m challenged, there are women who also like these things, but they are in the minority. which is why, to create greater balance in life we need equal inputs from both sexes on as many topics as possible, that way there’ll be a larger number of ideas to use for change than if only one of the sexes dominates a topic that affects everyone.
Jason knows nothing about DC, where I live. He saw no signs of military/national guard? Absurd. There are National Guard, ICE, FBI, federal Park Police everywhere. Unmarked cars with masked men grab people, from cars, from workplaces, from the street, and drag them off with no explanation. ICE arrested people on the way to work right in front of my house, to the horror of our neighbors.
He says DC is “cleaner.” That’s plain stupid. The streets are cleaned by DC workers, as always, not by the feds. The streets are no more or less “clean” than before. This throwaway line echo’s Trump lies.
What’s true is that many restaurants and stores are empty, traffic is light and the city is lifeless. DC residents face illegal ID checks at subway stops and on the street. Local police are more aggressive, with their federal masters in tow. This is repression, not freedom.
His nonsense about seeing more Arabs on the streets is also ignorant. We have large Arab communities in the DC suburbs, fewer in the city, but they have been here for years. I don’t recognize the city he claims to observe.
Half the DC population is black, and maybe 10% are Latino. They do not welcome militarization, nor do most whites, but we have few avenues to fight back. There are frequent small demos, and a huge march last month demanding a Free DC.
DC is home to more than 20 police entities. We were already over-policed. But police do not stop street crimes, and certainty not the National Guard. This federal invasion is an excuse for expanding ICE kidnappings, not to protect DC residents.
Where is Whitney Webb? 🙂
