In case you hadn’t heard yet, the Trump administration has gone full mask-off with its Make Empire Great Again agenda. In addition to bombing Iran at the behest of Bibi and denouncing his own voter base for caring about the Epstein case, Trump has also just announced his plan to provide Ukraine with billions of dollars worth of weaponry to continue their war against Russia! For those keeping track at home, that’s the very war he promised to end on day one of his new administration!
Yes, it may seem like a lifetime ago that the fluoride-addled erstwhile “liberals” were draping themselves in the Ukrainian flag and pretending to care about the democratic government [sic] in Kiev. . . . Uh, I mean, “Kyiv.”
And it may be increasingly difficult to remember those bygone days of yore when the MAGA cheerleaders who are celebrating Trump’s decision to send weapons and aid to Ukraine were denouncing Biden and the neolib warmongers for sending weapons and aid to Ukraine.
But just because the NPCs of the left/right charade have updated their programming and turned their attention elsewhere, it doesn’t mean that the Russia/Ukraine conflict has gone away. In fact, that conflict is escalating by the day.
While the war in Ukraine may not seem like a big thing to the average bricklayer in Cincinnati or the average steelworker in Hamilton (or the average podcaster in Japan), it is. In fact, what is happening right now between Russia and Ukraine doesn’t just have consequences for the region. And it doesn’t just have consequences for the world. It has consequences for the future of warfare itself.
Don’t believe me? Let’s take a look.

It’s not a pretty picture . . . .
Does technology exist that would interrupt the WiFi signal that the drones would connect to?
I don’t know much about drones, and I don’t know much about WiFi, or if drones even connect to WiFi. I’m assuming there’s some kind of connection between the drones and an outside source that has programmed their movements or is giving them instructions on where to go.
Does something exist that could interrupt that connection?
(Probably a dumb question, but I’ve decided to be that person)
The defense solution that different sources are posting as most effective is DEW, as in handheld EMP “guns” that, IIRC, use microwave band radiation to destroy the microelectronics, or something, on the target. The reason this is considered most effective is the asymmetrical nature of the defense, likely <1/1000th the cost of each drone to destroy the drone and uses well-known and readily available technologies.
I would assume it’s radio control (probably line of sight uhf radio) from a base station or cellular data.
You could certainly jam such signals , but u imagine you would need to jam up the whole spectrum because I would “expect” they hop frequency a lot (that tech invented by an actress , Jessy lemar, who was impressed with auto play pianos, lol)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency-hopping_spread_spectrum
Jamming the whole radio spectrum is possible, but you would loose your own communications too….i guess they could control them with satellites now because some mobile phones di have sat call features (even if not very good) and I don’t think satellites could be jammed very well
You can’t just use wi-fi in the middle of a field because there is no router and wu-fi is pretty short range.
It’s Hedy Lamar. You must be too young to remember famous actresses 😉
As stipulated in the article, Ukrainians used mobile data (3G, 4G, 5G?) to communicate with the drones.
There are obviusly many different ways to block such communication, turning off the masts being just the most obvious one. How long would it take to perform such an action in this centralised world of ours? How long did this plane attack take?
Another option is to use fake masts as part of the defense strategy around key strategical points. These masts force all the devices connect to them, without providing an actual connection. These types of devices are used in locations where one wishes to prevent mobile phone usage, common equipment that is readily available.
Another possibility is that they have used starlink to route the drones, which is likely unlikely. How would one block such connection? Shooting some of those satellites out of the sky would likely be a valid solution, if Elon has spacexed any above Russia.
Here we are supposed to believe that an active enemy combatant used local infrastructure for a while (I’m uncertain how long did this supposed attack last) and has achieved their goals. And then they kept doing it again and again, while Russia and their telecoms are unable to defend against such threats by blocking the data connection.
This requires suspension of disbelief.
The trouble is I find it very hard to believe any of the provided information. One has to engage these so called facts coming from known liars in an age where it is easier to fake a video than to blow up a plane or a building or whatever else.
Easier to fake a video than to get a single drone airborne. What is the truth here? I certainly do not know.
Autonomous drones with onboard AI would require no data connection to carry out their missions. Sure, the asshats would probably like to be able to have access to the data streams in real time, but once the automated drone either leaves the zone where jamming technology has restricted such data streams (if possible), they can either resume streaming said data or the data could be retrieved when the drone returns to HQ or a remote docking center, and also receive new mission parameters.
And here’s a time lapsed visualization of all satellites in low Earth orbit, from 1957 to 2025:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiMbm9XBCK4
Another recent development in communications is quantum dot, or quantum entangled data transfer. The concept is that subatomic particles which are quantum entangled are used, one group in a device at HQ and one in a device in the field. Supposedly, when one quantum entangled particle is affected, there is an instantaneous and identical affect observed in its entangled partner, regardless of the distance between the two. No waves of any kind are required, therefore the connection cannot be blocked or intercepted as is done with wave dependent communications.
If this is legit, I don’t know. But, if it is, I would assume they’ve been developing and stockpiling these systems and devices, and will be deploying them (if they haven’t already).
Some may recall claims of quantum dot technology being integrated into the MAGAjabs. The implications for mind control and other forms of manipulation brought about by such devilry are difficult to fathom.
But this would be excellent for drone communication, and it’s worth considering.
Hey, Magnetic Reversal,
I’m enjoying your responses.
With the upmost respect and curiosity, are you using AI to draft responses or are you composing organically?
Either way, I appreciate that you are responding and that the responses appear thoughtful.
@Iamfreeiamme
Ha! I’m a caveman who can type, but otherwise avoid high tech options as often as possible. I’ve never knowingly used AI of any kind, for any task. I turn off all AI generated responses from any browser or search engine I use.
I’ve been spelunking the rabbit holes of conspiracy and empire since 2001. I am a grammarian who appreciates lucid, concise and accessible writing.
It seems you appreciate these things as well.
AI is a part of the beast system.
I will never take the mark or put myself in a position where I depend on the beast system. I’m mortal and this meat suit will expire one day. I’ll live free until then, submitting only to my Master, Y’shua, the Christ.
I hope that answers your question satisfactorily.
I’m impressed with your writing style.
I’m unfortunately not as stylish, but I do appreciate when someone writes well.
When humans outsource their lives to AI, they lose their humanity, along with their cognitive and analytical capacities.
The struggle is what strengthens and sharpens a human. Failure and rejection are gifts, when viewed rightly. That’s why GOD gives them to us in such abundance.
If you want to improve your own writing style, read brilliant authors, those who inspire you in your struggle.
Never surrender to the beast.
> they lose their humanity, along with their cognitive and analytical capacities
What if they didn’t have any to begin with? I posit that most of these AI using dolts were such long before and will still be dolts long after they stop using it.
I don’t really rely on AI for much. Sometimes I let it choose random playlists for music, but most of my music is folk music from the 60s and 70s.
What determines a “brilliant author,” can be subjective, in my opinion. I can’t relate to some authors because I can’t get an edge to lodge a toe-hold on them.
Like, I can’t relate to Donna Tartt, because I didn’t run in upper class social circles, and don’t really understand what motivates her characters.
I’m actually interested in reading William Faulkner, because he’s a Southern writer, and something like “As I Lay Dying,” is a gritty story told from a number of different characters points-of-view, and can relate to it because it’s a horrendous tale told in the southern heat, which is relatable.
I think a writer can copy style, but ultimately, good writers write what they know. Which takes experience.
Authentic experience in the real world is important.
A.I. can never achieve that.
@mkey
What are your thoughts on the NPC dynamic? Are they beings with souls who, for whatever reason, are not expressing as much in a way that we perceive? Is it that we misperceive? Are they holograms, or biological robots, without souls? Are they merely programming artifacts used to challenge the rest of us?
Can two NPCs give birth to a child which is not an NPC?
If anyone here were to have a conversation with anyone from my immediate family, they might very well label any or each of them as an NPC. What would that imply about me?
Just questions I ask myself every Sunday, figured I’d share with the group and see if anyone has any insights.
Thanks
MagneticReversal:
“If anyone here were to have a conversation with anyone from my immediate family, they might very well label any or each of them as an NPC. What would that imply about me?”
That’s a brutal thing to say about your family lol
Why do you think they are NPCs?
@Iamfreeiamme
I didn’t say I saw them as such. I said others might apply that label, and asked what that might imply about me, in their mind.
If you interpret “dolt” as “NPC”, that’s up to you. I would substitute it for “unthinking”. That is what can be readily observed; the lack of thought, awareness, reason.
I don’t see how your situation is any different than those other commenters here find themselves in.
You are equally well positioned to answer your own question in regards to “NPCs” begetting non “NPCs”. Something to that effect on the macro level obviously does happen, so it is possible.
I am careful to label people as NPCs, in general, and typically only do so when aggravated.
In my observation, many of the people among us appear to have an issue with their receiver of consciousness. That seems to be the most obvious explanation of what is happening.
It is not they do not recieve any, but that the reception is poor and possibly afflicted by noise, or even overtaken by external foes. Some would refer to them as daemons, who is to say they are wrong?
This is again something that aligns well with some of my observations, where some people’s behaviour can be most easily explained by calling it by the name that so aptly fits, possession.
Is the receiver issue brain damage? Or maybe a malnourishment issue? Likely a combination of the two. Too many people do not really get a good head start, and it only goes downhill from there.
Nutrition in 2025 is still an afterthought. God bless.
This condition is likely not caused by DNA or genes as those concepts appear to be completely made up and I do not put much stock into superstition. But, again, something does drive the expression of the body, the unseen force.
Maybe there are some hints that can be glimpsed from the fact quite a few people among us do not appear to be afflicted by an inner dialogue. Is it by error or design? Do they succumb to self doubt? Maybe they represent the improved, action oriented, model.
@mkey
Thanks for sharing your insights. That’s all I was asking for.
I mentioned the NPC moniker because James linked to it in this article, and your mention of “dolts,” an equally derogatory and dehumanizing term, led me to see what others thought about this dynamic.
Again, thanks for sharing your views on this. My own views are still in the internal debate stage. Yours sound very reasonable, other than the fact that I don’t see “unthinking” as possibly being any form of improvement.
When I use the term “dolt” (meaning stupid) I certainly do not intend to dehumanize anyone.
It’s an observation of the true state of affairs (in general), often with a modicum of willfulness as people will cling to their stupidity as if their lives depended on it (and in a way the do).
The whole of dehumanizing that goes on in these cases is self inflicted.
@MKEY I agree the term NPC is dehumanizing. People shouldn’t use it seriously to define our fellow humans.
If we see people who don’t align with ourselves in some fashion as some kind of soulless, shadow-backdrop “the program” placed there for atmosphere, to complete an illusion of reality, we are disconnected from actual reality.
Iamfreeiamme
NPC pretty much describes most people in the sense that most people are not “in the game” in any meaningful sense.
If you look into history you tend to find the same small number of people “doing” most of the stuff….my wife lives Tudor stuff and you find the same family names running stuff as we lead up to WW2 as we’re doing stuff back in Henry 8ths times.
99% if people have zero
Impact on big scale event, but I’d limit NPC to the 90% whi dont have any effect even in their own lives and just get programmed to do whatever they do
I was also thinking about autonomous drones with onboard AI. And what if the drones are also shielded against EMP? I don’t know if that is possible, but if it does, I think we would see kind of the same arms race as it always has been, this time drones against drones. Maybe simply something like drones with shotgun ammunition to take down the killer drones.
Onboard “AI” on battery power? I would say not likely. But could be doable if a local mothership was used to control other drones.
The most likely fixed defense against drones would be something like a chain gun on a turret that throws a lot of lead up as a close area defense….theybwould not need to be very powerful, just throw a lot of lead fast. You could even conceivably have it powered by co2 or compressed air since it’s trying to mess up a pretty delicate device
Russian combat zones Drones are now using fiber optic fish line line for control, combat zones are covered with a plastic spider web of this filament !
Russian produced copy of Iranian Shahid drone whose technology was copied from captured US UAV and the Russians are producing over a hundred a day uses a 16 dual channel receiver or transceiver and carry about 500 lb. of ordinance , current rate of production is allowing for launching 100 a day and banking 20 for supply disruption and mass attacks .
Could’ve sworn they were at war with Eurasia.
We were always at war with Eurasia before we were never at war with Eurasia. Try to keep up.
It is a mistake to state that Ukraine attacked Russia.
The NATO is doing major part of any operation, via the so called “operators” and “mercenaries”.
This time MI6 was involved in setting up the full operation.
The NATO plans these operations with the full knowledge of the Russian defenses.
The NATO intelligence to supplies the coordinates and targeting.
Especially now the Ukraine deaths is over 1 million.
The attack on strategic bombers had absolutely no positive result for Ukraine.
Seems to be 3 planes destroyed on official record, but does not even matter.
It was a NATO target and part of the START nuclear disarmament program.
It is like NATO telling that they want a nuclear war..
The attack on the civil train at that time was actually devastating from a Russian perspective.
And killing civilians is what NATO / Ukraine does best, especially in former Ukraine and Kursk.
With horror stories similar to NAZI occupation. Note that western “mercenaries” were among them.
NATO still seems to think that killing and angering Russians will make “dictator” Putin go away.
Both attacks made the Russians actually more angry about Ukraine and NATO.
@zyxzevn
“The NATO plans these operations with the full knowledge of the Russian defenses.”
I agree. The governments are all on the same side, in a war against the civilian populations of all nations.
The animosity is mere stage play, just theatrics to keep people off balance.
I certainly hope none of you here were fooled by the ‘Trump is fighting the Deep State’ nonsense we were subjected to . These puppets are placed there with an agenda that they are obliged to fulfill, schooled by very smart people and then put out to pasture.
Meanwhile here in Kanada we have a banker as PM. Elbows up everyone…..or is that hands up?
He kinda fooled me the first time around, 2nd time it was “meh, what’s to loose?”
At the end of the day everyone needs to get ready for the inevitable, and any delay in the actual war or economic collapse is welcome

Ukraine has already contracted BLACKROCK to rebuild its infrastructure. Much the same game as 11/21/1963 when a contractor attended a meeting with Nixon, Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover at Clint Mercheson’s Dallas ranch to discuss JFK’s murder the next day. And later the contractor got a deal to build an unneeded port in Viet Nam.
The “legal” trick with Ukraine is it will get a “loan” with “conditions.” The main one is ALL their government assets must be put up for sale for the corporate Hyenas to feast on.
Ukraine is considered the “Bread Basket” of Europe with its incredible farmland. What a coincidence that BLACKROCK through its subsidiaries (Dupont, Cardil, and Monsanto) has already purchased 30% of the farmland.

A HILL TO DIE ON (song)
https://old.bitchute.com/video/GYbD9NPqAWmv/
It sure changes warfare when it is hard to know who launched an attack, and an attack is hard to defend against. Nations are rolling out these methods, but non-state actors in Mexico have drones. They don’t have drone swarms though. That is next level.
This may be an east vs west global war, but as some suggest it could technically be a war of all governments vs separatist factions using east and west as a wall that slowly pushes them all into the central meatgrinder.
Hard to say. Interesting times.
If they can make knives illegal, then they can certainly make the drones illegal. These highly publicized attacks will speed that up. The makers and sellers of cheap drones for the masses should be worried, unless they cater to the militaries. Although mostly they are just used for non-threatening video and photography, their potential danger is now ready to be amplified. So, we know where that will lead…
PS They showed that they can even make breathing without a mask illegal. Going to school without ‘vaccines’ illegal, etc., etc. All you need is a good propaganda machine and some corrupt politicians, aka authorities. We currently have a sufficient supply of these.
Hankey
“…they can make knives illegal, then they can certainly make the drones illegal…”
A while back I watched a YT video of two foreign gents (Somali I think, they almost monopolized the stabbing where my late friend lived near woolwich) having a machete fight in the “regulated “ British streets.
The had pretty good form, lol, looked like pirates from a movie.
But whatever the law says people dont have issues getting or making knives and I am pretty sure ,unless they suddenly regulate electronics world wide , people with bad intentions won’t have an issue making them. The RC plane community used to make a lot of their own stuff back in the day.
Your right, it will just the the harmless hobbyist whi gets put out of action
It reminds me of a Star Trek episode where 2 planets conduct a cyber war with no weapons except the 0s and 1s. Losers send their sheeple to the death house. Do you think the criminal PTSB is thinking ahead? AI is not perfected, yet!
JC:
“In reality, the WWIII conflict that is coming into view will be as ultimately stage-managed and manipulated from behind the scenes as the World Wars that came before it.”
“Yes, as I’ve discussed before, the WWIII scenario that is coming into view will be a largely phoney struggle between opposition forces controlled by the same globalist oligarchs.”
This is exactly what I’ve been reminding everyone about when discussing the current Ukraine-Russia conflict. The reason it’s taken the Russian bear years to crush the stuffed plushy Teddy Ruxpin™ called the Ukrainian military is because this is not a real conflict, wherein one nation’s government has it’s own little agendas and totally independently decides, “ya know what? I’d like to have Ukraine as part of my empire….” Bollocks. Poppycock. Putin, Mr. Young Global Leader, is following orders. Zelensky, the gay Druish comedian, was cast to play his role – the greatest of his pathetic career – and he was like “will there be cocaine?” Apparently, lots. And hookers.
They’re getting rid of undesirables. They’re testing weapons platforms. They’re testing AI generated propaganda. They’re testing out digital governance. They’re traumatizing the hell out of people and we all know that they get off on rewiring brains to be more slavish and dependent. They’re also tracking and studying the dissenters, just like they did in the Vietnam stage play (again, not a real conflict, the US was not trying to achieve a military defeat. What happened was what their goal was. Very successful, indeed, as subsequent history clearly shows.) That’s one of their most successful social engineering projects to date (says the hippie).
“Operation Spiderweb may have been the definitive proof-of-concept for the next stage of drone-driven asymmetric warfare, but the use of drones on the battlefield—and, increasingly, in towns and cities far from the “front lines”—is not a new development. Both Ukraine and Russia have been increasingly relying on drones to strike deep into each other’s territory, and spectacular attacks with these unmanned fighting vehicles are now taking place on a daily basis.”
But how does anyone who isn’t there know this?
They don’t.
Please remember this.
Whores and cocaine do indeed go hand in hand. It’s been like that since these terms have been introduced to the stage.
What exactly does it mean to “be there”? Just living in some war afflicted area won’t lead to one understanding of what’s going on. Even if it meant one was fully aware that the events relating to that particular area were fully staged when carried by the dino media.
For example, what exactly would it take for a single individual to verify the ostensible drone strike on Ruskies’ bombers? How does an observer verify such a multi-layer story? I’ll posit that is practically impossible.
I can imagine how traumatized people will be with drone patrols going through the streets to spot any suspicious behaviour or repel foreign attacks. I don’t even know if they’d be that efficient but psychologically, the aesthetics of such deployment would be quite something.
Then the next emerging weapon could be 3D printing. Very handy for dissidents (aka internal enemy pockets) on either side: it replicates itself, can build terror drones, or anything you like.
Ukraine, Russia and the Future of FALSE FLAGS
This entire “war” is a false flag. It’s the blob playing chess with itself. Sure, it’s using Russians and Ukrainians, if there really is a conflict going on, but the chess pieces are not the players. We’re watching chess pieces (nations) being moved on a board by players.
But, moving along to what most people think of when they hear the words “false flag,” we have to consider that, one day, citizens will see drones doing real damage in their homelands. The drones may actually bear the flags of a foreign nation for effect, but this is not necessary as long as they believe the reports claiming as much.
A normie who believes his/her homeland is under attack by a foreign nation is uber gullible, uber patriotic, uber ready to sacrifice in order to ensure “safety and security” for his/her family and community, even if previously disillusioned or even outright dissenting against the ruling regime.
I envision the DUMBs being stockpiled with hundreds of millions of drones, and billions of stickers of various nations ready to slap on prior to deployment against the native population. Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia. They’ll see their native “good drones” battling it out with those of the adversaries of the week. The photos and videos and eyewitness accounts will be real. The casualties will be real. The fear will be real. So will be the programming and exploitation of said programming. It will be EPIC. Beyond Hollywood, no special effects needed.
“Somebody get this guy an OSCAR – STAT!!”
Don’t get caught up in the current false flag.
The Russia-Ukraine “conflict” is not what it’s advertised as being.
Save your energy and intellectual capacities for the very real false flags that they’re setting up now and will deploy when they get their orders.
Might want to buy some extra snacks, too.
Similarly to the previously raised question, I have my reserves in regards to people being aware they are assaulted by drones.
As long as we refrain from indulging the cartoonish strikes with skies full of drones, chasing people around a few feet above head, and go with something more plausible, I posit that it will be just as difficult to determine the source of attack for the ordinary people.
Large drones sky high sniping people out are difficult to differentiate from an occluded enemy combatant, at least to the casual observer.
I guess if drones make a particular noise when diving toward infrastructural targets for a fiery, explosive end, that would be a clear tell for the observer who is inside the earshot but outside the blast radius.
I don’t know if a swarm of smaller drones diving toward headshots is something we can expect on the grand stage. Feasibility seems to make it doubtful.
@mkey

The Fifth Trumpet
1 Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the Abyss. 2 The star opened the pit of the Abyss, and smoke rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit.
3 And out of the smoke, locusts descended on the earth, and they were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 The locusts were not given power to kill them, but only to torment them for five months, and their torment was like the stinging of a scorpion. 6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will escape them.
7 And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, with something like crowns of gold on their heads, and faces like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like that of women, and teeth like those of lions. 9 They also had thoraxes like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the roar of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months. 11 They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, a and in Greek it is Apollyon. b

Pepe Escobar: Trump Targets BRICS – But BRICS Is Locked and Loaded!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nDWqn3fp2c
Due to presser from the west, BRICS is becoming stronger.
Europe is preparing cities for WW3 with weapons from the US in 5 years.
Now using Ukraine, Iran, and Azerbaijan as proxies.
It seems to be prepared for a long time, and the political puppets in NATO are already setup.
These puppets seem to believe their own propaganda.
And they are often declaring war with Russia (and China) in their statements.
Russia (and China) are preparing for this war, because they know that is the goal of NATO / WEF.
This goal aligns with the attack described in Corbett’s article.
Not in the interview:
It is weird that the EU is destroying its industry, infrastructure and economy to please the weather gods.
A lot in the population is also fed up with the governments after the Covid /vax disaster and extreme immigration.
While the plans are to prepare for war in 5 years, in reality this will take 20 years for the EU (only after political changes).
The EU is basically run by admin people and special interest groups- there is no way the EU can realistically fight a war and win – they don’t have the social capital, economy or industry to do so and won’t even in 20 years unless they fall under a Stalin type leadership. That cannot happen easily in Europe because power is spread out between a lot of power blocs.
But it’s kinda like a gov subsidized company that looses money all the time while certain people IN that company make bank…..they can push for harmful or flat out retarded things because they individually benefit and dont look at the big picture where the whole thing falls apart because it’s not based in reality.
Maybe a good analogy is Italy under Mussolini- they had already worn themselves out but still jumped into WW2 for stupid reasons, while Franco sensibly kept himself to himself and stayed in power
As with any form of warfare, each advancement necessitates and eventually produces a response. Much like the “speed radar” v “radar detectors” v “lidar”v “light reflecting’ which disables the lidar, someone will eventually come up with the drone defense – and like the speed radar v radar detector wars, the same companies will likely produce both sides with escalating technology.
With drones/face recognition, didn’t i see that DARPA had created an “invisible blanket” of some sort over a decade ago? Soon maybe that technology will come standard with your META sunglasses. There will be some form of drone jamming or drone misdirecting or even drone takeover technology (maybe it’s already here and the owners are simply waiting for someone foolish enough to challenge that owner with standard drones), then there will be advanced drones that can defeat all those technologies, but then there’ll be some kind of “instant cyclone” that will dash all the drones from the sky, then there will be a cyclone-detecting drone, and so on and so on.
There remains but one war. The same war that has always been. The same war that will always be. Those in power will always want to stay in power, and to do so, those in power must keep the proles at bay. Power will always corrupt, and the proles will always be under attack, whether they know it or not.
Does anyone remember the novel, ‘Ender’s Game’? I believe the author was Orson Scott Card. It was assigned reading to my teenage son in the early nineties. (He is now pushing 47). It was about a teenage video arcade champion being unwittingly recruited into controlling real lethal fighters to save the real Earth.
Kind of a predictive programming item. He was also assigned reading the Clash of Civilizations, which claimed that there was no getting around us epically fighting the ‘Arab World.’
BTW, that was a fancy private school.
They don’t get everything right, despite their connections.
His brother, my youngest son, was taught Japanese, instead of Chinese or Arabic (or even Spanish). This went on for many years, starting in 3rd or 4th grade. He and his classmates never used that language, although some of them did end up going to China, shortly afterwards.
PS They also had my kids reading Howard Zinn. These were rich private schools.*
* We weren’t rich.

To be fair Japan looked like it was going to be the “China” back in the 90s….give it a few decades and Japan might be back on top since china has probably got a bigger bubble going on then the US does.
On clash of civilizations, it’s not like the idea itself is wrong. The Muslim world is pretty much winning that battle in Europe thanks to mass immigration and demographics. Muslims already have a big voting bloc in the UK and as the population ages they will be able to exert a lot more influence over European national politics.
You have to factor in that Islam tends to revert to militant politics ti get its way and its values are basically the opposite of both classical liberalism and Christian values. They don’t need to be a majority to get their way if they work as a bloc and care more then regular people do about any particular issue.
Enders Game spoiler video. I didn’t watch the movie but my kids did.

Wow, Indiana Jones and Mahatma Gandhi together to drive the message home! Muddled message. War and killing is good, but praise peace and mercy.
There must be something wrong with me. I had to destroy an ant colony last week, and still have yet to shed a decent size tear over it.

Clash of Civilizations
The thing I don’t like about that book is its connection to propaganda, like that surrounding the first WTC bombing, OKC (first story),9/11, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, etc.
It fits too neatly into the propaganda narratives we were being fed. The seeming inevitability of predictive programming events is the desired illusion of this tactic. If you read this book when you were 16, you would not question the official stories, a couple of years later. And he didn’t…
I wish Corbett would comment here. He may take my side on this.

“…..The thing I don’t like about that book is its connection to propaganda, like that surrounding the first WTC bombing, OKC (first story),9/11, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, et……”
You’re correct and I agree that it fed into the propaganda. That said it’s not like the home grown (or even the Jewish) deep state is our only enemy
On the other hand Muslims are not particularly friendly to western values and having vast numbers of them running around the west is also a problem in the long term. It’s kinda like Hitler was correct that commies were a menace , but Nazis were not our friends either, or FDR a was right that Nazis could be a problem but his New Deal Technocrats were not our friend either.
The muslims I used to know were pretty OK types, personally ,but when you get a critical mass of them they flip a switch and turn into an interest group that wants very different stuff then westerners do. Kinda like I am sure there are Jews I would like as people but when they get a grip on gov we end up pouring blood and treason ti the Middle East.
Historically Muslims have always been the big threat to Europe and western civ, and just because we beat them down for a few centuries via the Industrial Revolution their culture is still antithetical to the Free west. I’m pretty sure Europe is gone in a generation unless they do something they don’t have the stomach for.
Did I say that the Muslims are just sweet and peachy?
The tension is just fuel for the manipulators.
The tension IS fuel for manipulation, but it’s not “fake”.
The problem with modern people is that they think in terms of weeks, months, years, or at best in terms of their own life time.
You see the same thing with Boomers whi don’t realize that their entire lives were lived IN a the economic anomaly that made them rich, while “youngsters” dont get that being poor is how most people in history have lived.
On the big scale of generational time the Muslim world will probably be the wests main enemy again very quickly (assuming they don’t just butch slap the west while we’re sick with modernism) so the “clash of civilizations “ is thus breal thing…..it’s probably true that most people shouldn’t read the book because most people are basically too short sighted to see in historical terms.
Such people are basically your “Non Player” characters who get blown about by whatever is happening at the time they happen to be alive. They will just react because they can’t see the bigger patterns of what’s gone before showing what is going to come.
Over educating them just makes them confused and uncertain but educators have bought the lie that anyone can be taught anything without context
So many typos… I don’t know if you need a butch slap or bitch slap?
Tensions are there, WMDs are not. Poppy fields are there, 9/11 hijackers are not.
“Never let a good crisis go to waste”.
Hankey
Sorry, small screen and autocorrect makes for typos.
As to WMD’s or even 9/11 hijackers those are just minor distractions rather then the true clash of civilizations conflict. NY could have vanished in a puff of smoke and it would have been just “a disaster” , not an existential threat.
In the other hand Rando Muslims stabbing people for blasphemy, a muslim voting bloc changing politics, demographic replacement (via birth rate comparison) and the Muslim “rape gangs” (which crossed nation of origin lines and were pure religious animosity) of the UK ….. things like that ARE the signs of a clash of civilizations going on.
Islam has always moved into new areas and taken them over during those areas times of weakness- their massive conquests all happened to weakened and divided powers. The “tension” is due to the basic incompatibility between western Christian/ Greek culture and Islamic culture derived from the root of their religion. You can’t “reform” Islam because the founder Mohamed is held up as the perfect man and personally was (according to Muslim tradition) a practitioner of rape, pedophillia, murder, theft, torture and conquest.
But like I said above – MOST people don’t , and can not, think about such things. Thus giving a book like CoC without context is not helpful to most students, as you say.
I should be happy that anyone even reads my comments, let alone bothers with an earnest reply, like you have done, more than once.
Obviously, we agree on quite a bit, even on this subject, so it is ironic that we seem to argue, while sharing so much of the big picture.
I feel compelled to criticize our own corrupt systems and populations more than I want to try and change attitudes or demonize Muslims. The smaller, but highly publicized Muslim attacks within Europe, etc., can be seen as being exacerbated by things like the Clash of Civilizations book. It is cliche, but still true, that the news highlights the worst and most divisive things.
So, I am not saying that no such thing exists, but that it is purposely and nefariously being worsened…on both sides, BTW.
Despite our mutual acknowledgement that histories are seriously flawed and skewed, you repeatedly relied on them to tell us that human nature is unchangeable, as well as groups, such as Muslims, Jews, and sheeple. While I respect your grasp of logic and your breadth of knowledge, this is a recurring source of friction between us.
My view is a little more flexible. You will probably judge it naïve. If the world is to get relief from the madness and anger of Muslims, it will arise from within their world, not from abhorrence of them in our world. Factors that I consider more relevant than you, have to do with changes in their world. Yes, changes are resisted, especially by the powerful in their society, just as basic changes in our society are steered in ours. Consider the possibility of the following things being very influential.
The historical world that you invoke to illustrate their intransigence is going to melt away, IF they evolve away from feudal reliance on physical threats and coercion as the primary means of structuring society. I take it that you consider this impossible. I think it is actually inevitable (huge caveat, if they, and us are allowed to experience some peace and harmony, which powers on both sides abuse). The power will shift away from traditional strongmen and dogmas when the people experience the relative freedom of thought that is possible in the internet age. The widespread poverty and abject slavery of the historical world that you invoke, are already being replaced with lots of educated and prosperous people. If that trend continues, they will come into a more modern and rational mindset.
Anyway, this is an interesting QFC (Question For Corbett). I wish he would address it. Maybe more people are interested, than just you and I. Boiled down, there are still two parts.
1. Is the Clash of Civilizations, and its ilk, mainly propaganda, or is it mainly just brilliant, insightful scholarship?
2. Is this, currently real, Clash of Civilizations only to be resolved through force and intimidation, which is the historical precedent? Is there no other possibility, in this age of internet learning and massive technological change?

“….Obviously, we agree on quite a bit, even on this subject, so it is ironic that we seem to argue, while sharing so much of the big picture….”
Dont mind me, I’m just a bit cynical. 🙂
I would assume Mr Corbett would agree with your POV, but the issue with that is that both he and you are idealists. Idealists certainly change the world more then folks like me do, though they are also quite dangerous in that they tend to think they (in general- NOT getting at you !) tend to just need to do one more awful thing to make people see the right way.
The thing is that Classical liberalism is derived from perverted Christian thinking and has no history in the Muslim world (or anywhere but Europe) where it evolved because of the catholic / Protestant religionous wars. Muslims cant become like us because they firmware is very different, hence when we’re in each others lands we fight.
If I had my way we’d let Muslims do their thing over in their place and leave them alone a lot more. But you can’t expect them to want to “become us” because westerners kinda hate themselves already, as you can see my looking at G going on about how bad our culture is.
Like I said all the Muslims I knew personally were pretty nice folks, but everyone has a deeper layer of belief that will always (imo) come up. I first saw that when the Iraq thing kicked off and a lovely guy i knew started foaming at the mouth about the invasion of his peoples homeland (he was a Pakistani, not an Iraqi)
Thats the reason that I believe that Muslims will be our future oops is because their deep cultural beliefs are the opposite to ours in the west.
Making people play nice , by the same rule book, always was the game of empire where a higher authority makes us live under their rule. Yugoslavia worked like that, for a while, but the true nature of a people (imo) always comes back because they will revert to the mean set by their founder. The reason Europe is so cooked is that they think, as you appear to, that living in “present century” changes human nature.
I would actually like you to be correct, but I’m turning into a grumpy old man, lol, and don’t see “present era” as much more then a propaganda construct to make people believe in Classical liberalism where the most important thing to everyone is how much business and trade you can do and real, human, issues of morals dont matter.
Anyway – all the best and an internet argument is not personal so I hope I’ve not offended you.
Duck,
Corbett chimed in on this 8 years ago.

I appreciate your sincere replies. I was never offended, but I was sometimes stimulated to flesh out and defend my ideas. For better or worse, some of my own ideas are more clearly crystallized, at least in my own mind.
Yes, thought he would agree with your POV , and his reasons were kinda what i expected.
I think probably most people here will agree with you on that point, and most of the people who agree with me are – sadly- borderline race idolators.
While I don’t like, or fully agree with, those folks conclusions i think they are closer to the truth then your side. The idea that we can live outside of group identity seems …..unlikely to me.
Glad you found use in my comments, I found some in yours too and thats the only real use of the net these days.
Personally I’m not thrilled about US and Israeli deep state facilitation of this conflict for eugenics and profit , operation spiderweb is what the US got into by providing satellite images and geolocations of START 2 bomber locations giving Russia validation if they need to say we scrapped treaty !
Now Trump is forcing acceleration of conflict and talking shit again and seems to be getting his information from CNN , or FOX presidential daily brief ! I witnessed a big change in Trump after third meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu ?
I blame situation on the KM and Fourth Reich of the Kazarian Mafia using and abusing Israel and the Jews to conquer the world !
Using my money and authority without my permission or consequence !
