Back and to the Right: The Pendulum Swings Again

by | Feb 9, 2025 | Newsletter | 69 comments

Have you noticed something interesting about global politics in recent years?

Populist movements, right-wing politicians and formerly verboten political ideas are growing in popularity around the world, from Trump and MAGA (and even MAHA) in the US to the AfD party in Germany to Milei in Argentina—and many other examples.

As interesting as this political shift is, however, the reaction to the phenomenon by the globalist Deep State is even more fascinating.

The infamous Bilderberg Group has fretted about “Populism in Europe” at its recent gatherings.

The World Economic Forum’s ongoing focus on “Rebuilding Trust” in globalist institutions is a tacit admission that they are losing the battle for the hearts and minds of the public.

And Tony Blair just said the quiet part out loud by admitting that one of the benefits of the coming digital ID control grid is that it will allow the authoritarians to “get tough on populism.”

So, what on earth is happening here? Are we witnessing a revolution? And, if so, what does it mean for our future?

Let’s find out.

    • Great article, quite funny at times. You are right people change but the agenda never does. This is why I stopped voting in 2000. I learned a hard lesson with George Bush Jr. and I will never vote for the never-changing corrupt two-party system. If anyone believes the system changed when Donald Trump took the helm, well, then they are going to be let down badly. Trump just happens to be a better actor than most and he was not the star of NBC for nothing. Now, he is having a great time “You are fired” firing everybody and taking the money and no he is not going to give it to the American people (even though Elon says they will) you know that $5000 chump change. Someone has to pay for all that new AI race war.

  2. James, I do like this type of column and look forward to part 2: the extra political dimension. So often I read your columns and though I might have thoughts, there has been little room or reason to comment after the fact. Now there is a pause and I want to insert my [as of right now] reaction to your column. No notes, no outline, just free flow reaction.
Yes, the pendulum swings and much as you described. But, always in the background, always floating at the edges, but never adopted, no matter how many points or aspects are agreed with, has been the individual sovereignty group or remnant if I may. The group that insists private property is an extension of individual sovereignty. That “the state” is the embodiment of oppression [censorship, pro-monetary control, pro-war] and denial of the sovereignty of the individual; only to insist on the real-ness of the state and the total insistence that the state has rights, but not the individual, except to the extent that the state “loans” out limited use of rights. Limiting those rights or outright snatching them back as fits the claims of the state. Which is denial of the individual. Until that changes, the pendulum will swing as it has. Yet, for myself, I see with each swing, an ever so slight adoption of one aspect or another of the remnant’s stance. Perhaps in 3 or 4 more generations, maybe, people will insist on the demise of the state in favor of individual sovereignty.

    • “..,, Yet, for myself, I see with each swing, an ever so slight adoption of one aspect or another of the remnant’s stance…,”

In what ways do you see this phenomenon?

Personally I don’t see such ideas taking hold or becoming more real but I don’t see every thing

      • I’ll take only a recent example. Abortion and vaccines. To me they have not just a common thread, they have a rope tying them together. The pro abortionists have increasingly found it difficult to defend their position as they attack anti-vaxxers, as they are called. Abortionists’ primary defense has been that a woman has autonomy over her body; the anti-vaxxer uses the same argument. Abortionists have not moved to the defense of anti-vaxxers, but they have greatly lightened up their attacks on them. That has been my observation.

        • That is a true observation IMO that the abortion and anti vac arguments OUGHT to lead to common ground… but that pre soposses that arguments weight is based on logic and reasoning when in my experience this is NOT the case for most people.

That’s why the Trans and Gay movements were so important to showing up the folly of basing everything on PERSONAL freedom as the highest aim……by pushing the bounds of classical liberalism (you do you and I’ll do me) beyond the point of failure

At the end of the day such people care about how the argument benefits THEM sand how good it FEELS

          • A lot of “trans” and “gay” youth seem to identify that way because it was promoted as being popular. They weren’t really gay or trans. A very tiny portion of the population probably has those inclinations, insignificant numbers.

This was pushed by the MSM probably in part to reduce human population size especially those who would pose the greatest threat to them.

            • The ploy here was to provide a form of false empowerment to a generation of dis-empowered youth. It served to create a group of manufactured narcissists concerned with identity(self) that was then placed in the lime light of a global campaign against the persecution of minorities, when in fact all of middle class society is being persecuted by the elites. It also served to normalise extreme body mod’s and train up a generation of surgeons on such. Clever c*nts.

  3. Mr Corbett it looks like you left your template spacer letters in the links…. I don’t know if you intended to put more links in or not.

Going to read the heyak thing now….road to serfdom was a good book but for sure m reason I thought he died from n the 50s….lol.

  4. Oh Dear James, Just barely cracked open “Reportage” and I love it! It’s like warm butterscotch poured upon my agitated soul! Beautiful!

    • You’ve got your copy already?!

      • Thriftbooks.com has “Reportage” @ the happy price of $16.35. Good site if you are trying to avoid patronizing amazon. I have no financial links to thriftbooks, and as far as I can dig, thriftbooks has no financial links to amazon.

    • Did you buy an Amazon copy or did your hard back show up?

      • Thriftbooks is a good alternative to amazon for those who wish to avoid sending amazon our dollars. Thriftbooks has “Reportage” at the sweet price of $16.35 plus s&h. I have no financial affiliations to thriftbooks, and as far as I can dig, thriftbooks has no financial affiliations with amazon. The book just shines! Are you getting one of James’ signed hard backs? OMG! Lucky you! Happy reading Duck!

        • Ah yeah – I ordered the hardback too. Something I’ll probably treasure ’til the end of my days! And that’s no exaggeration.

          • Oh! I am so jealous you lucky thing! Congrats to you! All the best

  5. This is a topic which has long played on my mind so I’m really grateful James that you’ve spelled it all out. I kind of ‘knew’ this but I needed a bit of help putting into something coherent. I feel slightly less burdened now! 🙂

  6. Thanks for a good start James.

    >>That’s why the inversion that has taken place in recent years is so difficult for those of a certain vintage to understand.>>
It is OK to call us old, check out George Carlin on that some time 🙂

Your referral to various generations with cliche’ ID names is puzzling since I don’t embrace that stuff. For me it is just another boxing of people to fit preconceived judgements. I still have the basic logical idea of Babies, Children, Young adults, Adults, and Elders.

As to the idea of a “pendulum” swing. Much like fish in bowl, most all people have no true understanding of the “outside” world. Meaning all the proven control groups and agendas rarely get mentioned. They are quite brilliant but very sociopathic in their drive towards world domination.

So if there is a true populist movement going, it is because (As the late Texx Marrs would say) someone wants it that way. Centuries investment of time and money doesn’t get eliminated so quickly without some other agenda behind it.

That being said, I am VERY pleased about what “seems” to be going on. But one assassins bullet could end it all for us unfortunately. I met JFK as a young Democrat when he was on the stump in the Bay Area. When he was murdered I “knew” deep inside that something very bad had happened beyond his death.
Over the next decade or so I witnessed the breakdown of about everything.

    • I don’t believe populist or democratic movements have value just because of they are the majority. Nazi/fascist populism was the closest to a majority and would have self-destructed just as the USSR, without the USA.

BUT, it will take about 10-15% of the populace being sovereigns, free-thinkers, anti-authoritarian, anti-collectivist, to save humanity from “The Most Dangerous Superstition” (Larken Rose) and superstition in general.

Intellectual leaders, great, but coercive political saviors are a dead end mistake.
I did like JFK personally, kept a lot of his quotes on my locker in the USNR. At 21, I remember where I was when he was murdered, despite being profoundly disappointed with his “Ask not…” speech. He had it backwards. I didn’t sacrifice by joining, I was drafted in ’64. I refused to kill anyone so they put in “Intel” (electronic spy). It felt like “house arrest”.

      • @Voluntaryist
I don’t believe in any governments (Control Mind) and have been off the grid most of my life, even when working in corporations, etc. It is all about one’s mind set IMO.

I have no idea what level of participation it will take to right the ship now with all the psychological and material weaponry at their disposal including social media addiction, the infantilization of people who worry about possibilities more then reality, etc.

Our recent past is our foreseeable future, because neither the ideology nor the power-centers profiting from it have changed.

I was also drafted in 64. I enlisted to choose my assignments. US Army Medic, 4th Armor Div Europe, Stuttgart General Hospital, attached to the 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne in the US.

If you haven’t seen any of my links to my music/essay site, I have about 78 videos, mostly about this sort of stuff but with some love songs, etc.

IT IS THE HIDDEN HAND (song)

  7. People should not assume Conservatives Are “right wing”….. hard line Soviet’s in the 80s were conservative and the Nazi party program was full on Revolutionary, not conservative or reactionary.

Conservatives are just very normie and promote things staying exactly as they are as much as possible.

People who are pro abortion, pro feminism and pro sexual revolution are the true conservatives today…when better quality people end up in charge for a while such people will be just as reflexively against all those things.

    • The only significant political attribute of Nazis was their authoritarian/collectivism, most were socialist. They switched from socialist to Nazi and back again after the war. So what you ask? So, if the US Empire is fascist, why did it go to war with Germany? If socialism has two branches, communism and fascism, why did Russia join with the Nazis in WWII, then switch sides? Because, politically, they are both authoritarian, or as George Carlin would say, “in the same club”, but they have infighting. Or, specifically, they send in the “cannon fodder” to fight. Still a patriot? Still vote? Then YOU are “part of the problem”.
I am as Doug Casey wrote: an “International Man”, a free-thinking citizen of the world. Therefore, I don’t fall for the bundling of “causes” into categories where some may be rational, some not. I question. I pity the fools who blindly follow the dictum: “Yours is not to ask why. Yours is to do and die.”

      • “….. So what you ask? So, if the US Empire is fascist, why did it go to war with Germany?….”

The FDR revolution, and it Was a revolution over the old US, was more in line with Technocrats…..just as was Bolshevism.

Interestingly BOTH NewDealism and Bolshevism were heavily Jewish influenced while National Socialism was a variant that mostly lacked Jewish influence.

“….. If socialism has two branches, communism and fascism, why did Russia join with the Nazis in WWII, then switch sides? …”

There was never any real question that the USSR and National Socialist Germany would fight…the German invasion was probably just gettthenjump on the soviets who appear to have been massing for a first strike (no normal army leaves it’s ammo dumps right next to the boarder…lol) and the massive success of Barbarossa in the beginning was probably because the soviets were set up in prep for attack rather then defense……nazism is basically the more natural, more human (and humane) version of the same materialistic worldviews as the New Deal and Bolshevism (both of which were as said VERY jewish)

The real jokers were the New Dealers who thought they could split the world between them….. the soviets murdered Many time the number of people Nazis are said to have murdered yet the new dealers saw them as allies…… why? Maybe THAT is the real question to look into

        • I’m not sure about Nazism not having any Jewish influence. “Chosen people” and “master race” ideas are similar.

Even Kevin MacDonald makes note of this, that Europeans in order to survive will have to adopt this type of ethnocentrism. Although it is alien IMO to most Europeans.

Israel is a type of ethnostate.

What Hitler did in part was to use their narrative to build racial/ethnic cohesion. He also accepted funding from bankers (I think).

As far as being the “ultimate evil” I think the Zionists are just as evil or more so than the Nazis ever were.

And even Hitler had some Jews who were in his inner circle, or at least they were of Jewish descent. His friends could be Aryan under the law where others could not.

          • Yeah as I recall the race laws explicitly stated that the Gov could make anyone “German” and plenty of nazis had Jewish blood but German mindset…iirc Hitlers driver was half Jewish.

The ideology that started with the Jewish revolutionary spirit led us thru to materialistic worldviews….. it’s just that the nazis (while they had that same toxin) had way less ACTUAL jews in the formation of the ideas…. I think that’s why national socialism a a much more honest ideology then Bolshevism (“we are here to help you comrade!….to the gulag”) or the New Deal (“we’re about American system- Oh and the consitution means what I say it does!)

The nazis flat out said “hey our people are in the dirt…. We don’t care about all youse guys and we may steal your stuff so out folks do better”….. note that Bolshevism and New Dealism wee both imposed by certain classes of people who have not a fig for the majority….the nazis actually DID have a contingent of people who cared about average Germans.

And just because I must say it, no I don’t like Hitler or want nazis to rule or anything like that

            • Yes, I agree, less overall Jewish influence in the National Socialist Movement.

I do think it’s probably true that there were those who actually cared about the German people, even Hitler. At least he seemed to.

I think some of his economic policies might have been good. I’m not well versed in history though especially in any detail.

I’m not a fan of the authoritarianism or the persecution of innocent people that any government does, so I think Hitler destroyed his credibility with his racial laws. Lots of people of Jewish descent had assimilated. If he had just kicked out the bankers, I’d have a more favorable opinion of him.

It was hypocritical of him to allow his friends to have full rights as Aryans but others not.

With that said, the narrative that the Nazis are some ultimate evil I think is a lie.

I can’t complain having had an “Aryan” great grandma. She was highly intelligent and lived a long time in good health, so what she gave me was pretty awesome.

              • “….It was hypocritical of him to allow his friends to have full rights as Aryans but others not….”

Not really….. a lot of the Jew hate thing was not really “racial” in the way Americans think of race- it was more that a lot of Eastern European Jews were doing obnoxious stuff, and socialist Jews knocked Germany out of Ww1 (the stab in the back was true, mostly thanks to the Balfour declaration) and perverse scum like magnus hirschfeld were around.

Nazism was more about shared POLITICS aiming then race, esp race as Americans think of it.

The nazis thought (correctly) that Jews tend to form a group inside other political bodies and cause troubles… hence the Transfer Agreement (book same name) where the nazis helped Jews launder their money and get to British occupied Palestine before the war……Hitler did not have a massive personal thing vs Jews, he just wanted them not doing “Jewish” things in a German peoples state…. The British were not wanting them in Palestine BECAUSE of the mischief they caused there and limited Jewish immigrantation as much as they could

            • I mention my Aryan great grandma because she was proud of her heritage and wanted to stay in Austria but also loved her family. She had married a Jew (my great grandpa) (born in Austria) and chose to leave with her family.

She said she recalled the pogroms where Jewish women’s hair were being pulled and were screaming. As proud as she was of her heritage, she knew that was wrong.

      • “…. am as Doug Casey wrote: an “International Man”, a free-thinking citizen of the worl….”

In practice that makes you totally alone and unable to stop anyone wiyh numbers from stomping you into slavery.

You can not expect such a massive and nebulous identity as “from everywhere “ to hold up with other people when you need it. It’s possible when your in a rich country at the end of its life, not n the normal world

        • There must be a balance between being an individual thinker and also being able to be in community which is a survival strategy and a natural human need. It’s ingrained in us IMO.

But, people in the US in particular, even “Heritage Americans” “Founding stock” Americans value independent thought.

My old English grandpa was self taught and thought for himself, although he identified as an Englishman and was proud of his heritage.

One not need to be a mindless drone following along to programming and regurgitating others thoughts and words. Community is not about homogeneous belief and thought IMO. It is richer than that.

          • Very True, balance is required between being a big man vs self absorbed hipster

            • That should say BUG man vs hipster. Stupid spellcheck

              • Both of those, bug man vs self absorbed hipster sound pretty shallow, superficial. Maybe that is the nature of identity, or at least the popular meaning.

To be something, whatever it is to me means to live it, to demonstrate it.

My grandpa had strong American values and he lived by them. Although he was fooled by the government who lied to him, he knew on some level what he did was wrong.

He actually admired general Patton. He did the best he could with the cards he was dealt. And was dirt poor and went hungry as a kid and worked hard his entire life. I could not have done what my grandparents had done, at least I think they were made of stronger stuff.

I am very fortunate to have known a person like my grandpa. He has influenced me to try to live honorably.

          • Your grandpa sounds like a cool guy

            • Did you two, or anyone, read Prolonging the Agony , by McGregor . James use some of it on his WW1 Doc.?

The point is Hoover , was hired,? ordered, commissioned to ‘ Hoover up all the damaging state documents from the devistated countries and ship them back to Stanford.
Was there a Hoover at the end of the 2nd WW . Had to be , knowing the Balfour and round table group and how the winners write the history.
Who was the hoover up man or men? Anybody?

              • General bootlewsher

I posted the link to Mr Docherty talking at the 100th conference on that very subject many times…. Right now I’m quite sick, and pretty drunk in hot toddies, but YouTube had the chat where he went thru

                1) Hoovers personal links to the “secret elite”
                2) Hoover feeding the German Army via the Belgium relief (the book goes into how the British Hunger blockade allowed foood thru until AFTER the armastice wiyh Germany then the Brit’s caused the hunger winter Albert Speer writes about in his memoir)
                3) how Hoover had the German high command’s documents taken in return for food aid and the papers have sat in the Hoover institute since ww1

It was called “Feeding the enemy” and held a remarkably small number of views dispite me promoting it… the views even went backwards, lol. And the comments vanished. See if you can find it I will post the file if it’s actually gone away

As to who his owners were I don’t exactly know but Myth of the 20th Century podcast had a thing on him, the chaps apparently never read prolonging the agony and thought he was a fine chap, his bio WAS kinda impressive

Iirc a good book about him was called something like the mystery of Herbert Hoover….. here it is, not read it yet
                https://archive.org/details/strangecareerofm0000john/page/n10/mode/1up

Let me know if it helps answer your question

              • Duck,
Thank you , get well soon.
                My rambling question was ;

Assuming the same playbook was used at the end of WW2, that was used at the end of WW1, ie- Hoover, as described in Docherty and McGregor’s book.

Who was the Man, or Men who vacuumed up all the WW2 damning documents.

Was there such a role played and who might that have been?

My elementary school friends new a lot of crap being said on the news or in the movies was BS cause a lot of veterans were still alive, talking and remembering things differently.

              • “…. Who was the Man, or Men who vacuumed up all the WW2 damning documents….”

That depends on which sides docs you mean and I would doubt there was a single person responsible for the job.

All armies took away papers, some of which may have been burned or which may sit in a mine shaft in Bavaria….. on the subject of RE FRAMING history yea, they made movies very deliberately to prevent Americans “reverting “ like they did at the end of WW1- pretty much most Americans priori to pearl harbor we’re anti war but in movies made after everyone HATES the Germans…. Same in the UK which was NOT universally proWar in 1939.

Look at the movies winning awards BY Year and then go watch them and you will see the message being pushed by year….my dad had zero issue killing people but was not hung ho for war wiyh Germany. He would mock TV and movies, lol.

                Docs

Plenty of GERMAN docs were held in Soviet archives and only gradually became available….even after the end of the Cold War not many people have the German to actually get anything out of the archives AND publish English Language books (plenty of foreign stuff touches subjects we never hear of here as I understand it)

The concentration camp files are more open now (hence the importance of holocaust denial laws) then they were….

Masses of German Intelligence files ended up getting shipped to the US and were integrated into the Ghelan organization
                See vid
                https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XXu1b_mUs-A&pp=ygUadHdvIGVhZ2xlcyBmZXJhbCBoaXN0b3JpYW4%3D

So those files are probably in some archive today.

German high command files I don’t know…. Some would have been shipped to the US after the war, they cherry picked bits for Nuremberg

Soviet archives are still curated heavily IF I understand it right, so people getting there will be fed what’s desired to a certain degree

Uk archives are PROBABLY picked clean, allegedly senior civi servants get picked to destroy or preserve documents, most of which have a 100 year lock down anyway
The radio series on the death of Lionel crab the diver mentioned those guys and people I have known personally have said similar things exist….. so any records to come out will have been “cleaned”

Any records in the US may have been lost, and are sitting in a crate next to ten ark or the covenant 😉 ….. seriously the US generates an amazing amount of paper and it can literally loose whole battalions without even trying.

  8. Thank you for this excellent essay James. You have perfectly and concisely described what I was trying to explain yesterday to dear friends who still get all their information from the Canadian Brainwashing Corporation (AKA CBC). Die-hard CBC listeners (boomers) are still sure the CBC and the “LEFT” are fighting the evil RIGHT TRUMPERS and premier Danielle Smith! They haven’t noticed that the “Left” is also promoting censorship, war, corruption and banking slavery! My suggestion that we should LOOK UP (not right or left) for the enemy, did not dent the iron-clad understanding so deftly engineered by the CBC.

    • Why are you trying to wake up boomers?

They will be dead soon anyway and most are too old to do much except worry about their pensions or their next prostate exam anyway. Let them enjoy their last years in ignorance:)

I have a relative who got safe and effective‘Ed and then ended up with a massive cancer….. is there any point in doing the snoopy dance? lol, not really – it’s too late for them lol n the whole

      • There are plenty of us pre-boomers who do plenty to further the cause, so to speak. Several friends are writers and others who lend monthly support to half a dozen or more “warriors” such as James. I lend a hand to 11 of them and I still write an article now and again. I have helped support several institutions since I was in my 20s and I still do. A couple of good friends are writers that James quotes or refers to, and each is an early boomer. Don’t count us down and out just yet.

        • I guess I need to say #NotAll 🙂

Not to be mean but if someone so is a PRE-boomer they’re over 80. Now my dad was a pretty active guy and still working a pretty physical job and even having kids and fights in his 70s…. He was unusual though and I am pretty sure MOST 80 year olds are watching TV and waiting for their next church social.

I have relatives who were still doing new stuff in their late 90s (learning to digitize music and work computers) but again, that’s a minority…..people over 50 tend not to do anything particularly new after 50 and some boomers put up a pretty good fight vs immigration and the sexual revolution but the majority sucked it up like young unS suck up tik tok.

You wont tend to see massive changes in behavior in most people once they hit middle age, so I guess I’m going to become a glooomy misanthropic old guy one day, lololol

  9. Thanks Duck. I was born in 1961 so I’m one of those boomers you’re dismissing haha. Most of my friends who are active in this fight for sovereignty are also boomers. In my experience, most of the millennials and GenZs are so busy and brainwashed, with zero understanding of history or civics, that trying to wake them up is even more daunting than waking up boomers. Since my latest attempt (this week) I have pretty much given up waking ANYBODY up. They have to come to it themselves, which is difficult with the overwhelming censorship. If you have any great ideas let us know!

    • 1) What are you trying to wake people up FOR?

That’s the real question, will it make their lives better? Or are you just lonley being right?

      2) do you actually think you will “wake up a critical mass” and everything will change?

That has never happened and never will happen.

The majority of people are unimportant. The majority of people will always just go along with whatever they think power agree with.

      3) what are you trying to wake them FROM?

Actually waking up for real yourself is the most important thing rather then waking others into another false dream. For that I actually do have advice, read the Bible and be nicer then me.

Though in my defense I’m pretty n a fair bit of discomfort now so I’m even less wonderful then normal

    • But ideas on waking people up might be to attack the issue from the side….you will never get people to wake up by CHALLENGING them because then they will feel like they have to bow to your majestic self if they confess your talking sense.

if they like history you can give them a harmless book, a book like “hidden history” on WW1 and then after a bit show them Mr Corbetts Ww1 conspiracy series….. if they like science you could do something like that for the masked vs unmasked states infection rates…..but the thing is that it’s deliberately made more and more part of peoples identity to hold certain ideas as part of their group…people want to be part of the winning side more then they want to be Right , be people are in the whole low grade descendants of the peasants who did what they got told or died.

You need to attack on an angle that they DONT have an emotional attachment to I’d say….. but I’m just some dude on the internet

    • I know you asked Duck, but I thought I’d share some thoughts. When trying to have a conversation with people in general, regardless of what it is, establishing rapport is necessary in most cases.

This involves listening. Asking questions about what the other person thinks and feels and when they express interest, sharing ones views.

I’m referencing a one on one conversation. The listener must actually be open to hearing what you have to say and you’ll know. If not you might just be going through the motions.

“My moral obligation has been met because I mentioned this x,y,z idea…”

IMO, if you want to wake people up, you’ve got to do it right. People don’t just listen to a lecture. You have to listen first and establish rapport. If you’re just lecturing, forget it.

  10. Good questions Duck. Yes, I was thinking that if we could just wake up enough people we could make the world a better place. I’m really starting to question that now because it isn’t working. You might be right that we can only expect to wake up ourselves, and I find it a totally fascinating journey right now. So much to learn. I’m not lonely being right because during Covid I met so many friends who are awake to the tyranny. However I often think of a young Nicaraguan dissident I heard speak when I was young. I was so shaken by his terrible stories, and when I asked him what I could do to help he said “Talk to people”. These days people refuse to have discussions when it doesn’t fit into their narrative. I am sorry to hear you are in discomfort right now. I hope you will feel better soon, and that you have lots of friends you can talk to.

    • “…. and I find it a totally fascinating journey right no…..”

Yes, if is isn’t it? 🙂 I guess people will complain about the modern world but my dad was raining death in civilians back in ww2 and they would think we definitely have “first world” problems. lol lol

I really recommend”the populist delusion “ by Neema Parvini, it’s kinda depressing to realize that most people really just want to get told what to do. I do have some friends at church but only the wife is allowed near me right now since she already got this damn flu….. I did have a nice save this morning when a two day old chick got thru the wire of the coup and I managed to snatch it up just before the medium dog was snapping its jaws. Just n time 🙂

    • That is so true Cu.h.j. Very great advice to keep in mind.

      • Well that’s a good day! And it’s all good as long as your wife can be near you! Thanks for the book recommendation!

        • Thanks for being so kind considering I am a bit brusque. If it’s better or not I am actually kinda an ass in real life too. This limits my ability to finesse people but means I waste less time on them too…. Probably cu.hj has a better skill at convincing people.

  11. Those are such good ideas Duck. You’re right – I need to take a more subtle “angled” approach. I’m afraid that won’t be possible in this particular case because I have already burned my bridges by challenging them too directly. I guess it takes more finesse to do discuss things effectively! I will remember your advice!

  12. LOVED this essay, James. Thank you.

  13. Gotta love them social engineers, Upper Egypt vs Lower Egypt, swinging us between the twin pillars.

All I can think to say regarding abolition of state is, “be careful what you wish for”, as this is exactly what ‘they’ are going for.

You aren’t going to get anarchy how you envisage it, you’ll get the techno-feudalism ‘they’ desire.

I suggest you pull your finger out and work on establishing a statehood of your own. You and your circle of influential commentators/journalist. Just don’t involve lawyers(because we all know they have no soul) and you’ll do great. Didn’t we have something about the network state the other week?

Otherwise I say good luck beating back the nano tech, AI drones and bipedal robots (including the brainwashed Gen Zer’s/Alpha’s).

P.s. I appreciated the piece more than it might appear, TY J.C.

  14. There’s a meme on 4chan about ‘tapping the sign’ which relates to a constant reminding of the situation at hand. A year or two ago, an anonymous user declared that there would be an end to all of the woke idealogies and a large push back to the right. Why? Simply, to get people to support their country more. Why? To get military numbers back up, which is happening in the US right now. Well, many young men are disenfranchised with the way their country was headed and wanted to check out of society. I recently read an article that since Trump has come back, numbers are steadily increasing in the military. This is about manpower for future warfare – from what I’ve gathered at least. I’m looking forward to James’ future commentary about all this.

    • The meme sounds about right…. Academic Agent over at YT had a bet going with Auron Macintyre that the woke would be put away for that reason.

On the other hand I don’t know that the Imperial Army will be back to its pre GWOT days any time soon…..numbers have been below target for several years and it will take several years to train that many people- you can’t just double the class size and get it done with high skill people.

Other reasons to be cautious on the issue
      1) how many are Covid shot refuserers being rehired?
      2) how many are illegal immigrants kids who want a path to citizenship? I know that is not an official thing but it happened a good few times that the military helped folks get their papers
      https://www.military.com/daily-news/2025/01/10/army-already-halfway-hitting-its-recruiting-goal-year.html

This pic looks like very few white bread American first Trump guys.

      https://www.uscis.gov/military/military

I recall reading about some guys who were brought over as kids who got papers like that back in GWOT days when they were supposedly even taking people wiyh gang tatts.

I was listening to a recruiting Sargent on an NPR show and the guy was basically helping what sounded like a semi tarded hispanic kid pass the Asvab- which took several tried before he qualified for iirc a REMEDIAL program placement. Dude was straight up grooming the fatherless kid, because no one else was around except his mom who was dead set against him joining up.

Not to be mean but the days when you can be a world power using armed retards is over….hence the desire you note to pull back uoung white guys.

The thing is even if they magically got all the high quality meat they wanted the army will take maybe a decade to refit itself to fight a real war….they can’t make enough new tanks or artillery shells for a General War vs a real power…..watching Russia and NATO slug it out like two broken down bumbs in Ukraine is instructive n how far everyone has fallen behind…. For all their cheat beating Germany and Europe ciykd barely survive ECONOMICLY aid they had a war vs Russia due to rubbish energy infrastructure- no way could the equip a modern army and fed it shells and tanks and artillery.

The point I’m making is that unless the ruling class has actually lost the plot (possible) they can’t fight a REAL general war until something like 2035 at the very earliest….so it would probably turn atomic if it happens

  15. Good article, but you err when you trivialise the differences between a left wing vs right wing dominant culture. They are not some reverse mirror image with equally valid points; the progressive world view is based on erroneous presuppositions about the human condition that are deeply fundamental and therefore disastrous in consequence, whereas at its core the right is just the absence of these wrong assumptions.

  16. Hi James, you mentioned the controlled opposition party AfD in Germany.

Around May in 2013, NATO official Georg Pazderski, who worked at NATO with former CIA head David Patreaus, entered the AfD and was appointed as CEO of the Party just five months later.

In 2024, he left the party. Under european digital obsolescence law, as google informs you, google blocks some search results that link Georg Pazderski to Patreaus….

But hey, deep state Elon likes GoldmanSachs related AfD front runner Alice Weidel. So, they will totally save Germany. Right? RIGHT??

    • They probably won’t save Germany, but they might stop it getting destroyed by immigration and differential fertility…….probably it’s too late and Germans will be a minority in their own lands and end up like all rich minorities and get the stick.

I guess that the afd is the least extreme version of what would need to be done to save Germany…. they are weak tea when it comes to being true “far right” so they could work for containment but tbh the German ruling class appears to be on a different page to the American ruling class on the issue

Pretty sure whites in South Africa are not enjoying that minority status so much, lol.

      From Wikipedia
“…..Due to the low birth rate Germany has recorded more deaths than births every year since 1972,[8] which means 2021 was the 50th consecutive year the German population would have decreased without immigration. However, due to immigration the population has actually increased during the last half-century. In 2019 the number of people with a foreign background was 26%;[9]…..”

      https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Germany

The DDR should never have unified and just become its own democratic country….. lol, it would have been way better off long term

  17. Hi James! Thank you for a very thought provoking article. I am looking forward the next part. The comment section is also very interesting.

  18. I think the left right divide is unnecessarily simplistic. There is even a version of this that divide it into a quadrant left liberal right liberal left authoritarian right authoritarian but it seems to me the reality is there is a cloud, a multidimensional multi variant space, and one of the things I find frustrating is it’s very difficult to get a real handle on how many of us in the cloud understand and see your point of view. I don’t think that all those millions who voted for Trump or Brexit or Lepen or AFD or Orban had simple binary thinking going on. we want something fundamental to change the choices we’re being offered. Our binary options are very simple so we have to stick a pin in and hope something changes and I think the evidence is that whatever your cynicism about Trump and Musk and everything else there’s a better chance of things changing in a positive way with them than would be the case with the current Democrats for example. I’d love to find out or to be told if there is some kind of more sophisticated polling system that could get a handle on the perhaps 9/10 of the iceberg that would be saying a plague on both your houses. But till we have an alternative system and I’m not sure what that would be, we have to choose one side or the other.

  19. Beautifully written, James. One of your best yet!!! You articulate it so well; that the PEOPLE are against the controlling cartels of war-mongers (regardless of their political stripe). And I hope that the resistance will not be silenced, whatever generation, whatever party is in power.
Be loud, be brave, be free!

  20. News from the Capitol.
The burn it down and abandon it crowd may find this interesting .

    https://youtu.be/UJ28qfIR_8M?si=TjbfraKYkBthO0rJ

Will this Luna committee be another stall or death by committee. I’m willing to give her a chance.
Will the 911 files and the JFK files be comprised of the same characters and ideologues ? Why bother with anything before 1996? That’s a bother.
It’s a sign but of what? Cracks in the darkness of Bankocracy?

  21. Great analysis. The changing dynamics of the “left” and “right” have been on my mind a lot. The shifts seem foisted on us “peasants” for maximum confusion, division, and chaos, which pave the way for oligarchs to grab ever more power and money.

Every “issue” we’re told to care about puts two people at odds one week and unites them as allies the next.

I’m a parent of a Gen Z-er teenager in the US. It’s certainly been interesting to see him enthusiastically repeating right-wing slogans. I stepped out of the left-right swing from the “right” side and never thought I’d denounce a Trump figure in opposition to a teenager. He didn’t get the “right-wing” slogans from me. He wasn’t yet born the last time I voted for a president. It’s the way to be among his friends.

Looking forward to the next installment.

  22. Black Box Today has a very frank discussion with Catherine Austin Fitts in her new home in Holland.

Reality on one hand and official narrative cocktail 🍸 party talk on the other.

Q4C. Is this what Carroll Quigley meant by American Dualism? You have reported on this reality that Americans hypocritically possess . Solutions must be applied to reality.
A greater success at rebuilding than scraping and starting over is reality. Getting the population activated is what the controllers fear most . Momentum and steering is a solution. Catherine gives us her observations and truths. It’s an interesting description of reality .

Is everything news editorial opinion put out a controlled opposition to a small part of a much bigger picture?
      It’s like making a 1000 piece jigsaw 🧩 puzzle?
      Answer; yes.

  23. A very triggering title, with all the horrifying graphic detail attached to it. What?
Corbett is a trickster with these planted mind blowing uses of modern cinematic history.
What again? Yes. Kevin Costner line from Oliver Stones JFK movie . The sheen of the jury Viewing Kennedy’s head being struck while Costner says slowly to the jury ” back and to the right, back and to the right”. Are we getting our heads blown off? Bullet to the head.
