In honour of this momentous occasion, I’d like to share with you a special feature of this Japanese edition of REPORTAGE. The publisher commissioned the book’s translator, Jimakudaio, to conduct an interview with me to help introduce its author, yours truly, to the Japanese reading public.
So, without further ado, I present to you the Japanese James Corbett Q&A…in English! Enjoy.

Would a more succinct translation of the Japanese title of the book be: The Complete Scope of Cognitive Warfare and Cognitive Control? I think the other blurbs on the cover are not actually part of the title. But I agree, neither is pithy.

I like the straight forwardness of the title . Yours could be.
Maybe Well suited for the American conspiracy public fighting against The Control. Japanese public want pictures. Are the other blurbs on the cover testimonials, warnings, a shout-out ? The frankness of “the full picture”, and what “No one Has Realized Yet.” Would raise the hair on your neck. They may be in for a shock ? I don’t think it would ruffle any feathers in the USA as quickly as it may in Japan.. Over coming the language barrier is a big bonus… To me the subject is quit depressing ; deserving of a pithy title . Is sarcasm a thing in Japanese literature? Does the Japanese written characters form pictures? James writes well enough to paint them a picture. They may go somewhere and do something with all the available material archives; In a big way. You never know when or where words and ideas will catch on in culture. And when it does…..Kaboom !
I thought that Jimakudaio did a fantastic interview, better than many native English speakers! I was extremely impressed!
Jimakudaio is a five star navigator…and like steering a boat through a sea of ideas in the Corbett universe, an incredible number of profound points come to light.
The quantity of “understanding and wisdom” that is concentrated in this interview is beyond words.
I think that EVERY Corbett Report member should read this interview.

Actually, HRS, I read Jimakudaio’s website in ENGLISH.
I swear, when his website opened, there was a big box with a button I clicked on for the English translation.
Wondering why you were calling me a “scamp” (thanks for the winking emoji!), I decided to close that website then open it again. Sure enough, just as you say, it’s all in Japanese, with no “translate to English” button in sight (or on site, for that matter!).
I wonder what gives? Maybe James can look into it for us?
But guess what, HRS! I saved Jimakudaio’s autobiography for you (which was still “open” in my computer) before I read your comment and thus before I closed everything. Thank goodness.
It’s not really an autobio; it’s a short “Introduction.” That’s what Jimakudaio calls it. I’ll copy/paste his very own words in a new post (see below, please).

“INTRODUCTION” [by Jimakudaio]
“I have been an IT engineer and programmer for over thirty years. In the last year, I watched a YouTube video and was convinced that the official story of the 123rd flight Misutakayama crash was completely false. After that, I fell into the so-called conspiracy theory. At this time, I was working full-time, and on Saturdays and Sundays, I was confined to my house and chasing conspiracy theories throughout the day.
“I wanted to know the contents of an overseas video in which a physicist explains the spiritual world, and I couldn’t do any English interviews at all (I can read it because I’m an engineer) I added Japanese subtitles to the video for a few hours with English subtitles that YouTube comes out. In the process, I watched various overseas videos, and I was surprised to see if this information could be easily obtained in the English-speaking world, and at the same time, I developed my own subtitling and public system.
“At that time, such an environment for the general public was not well prepared, and there were few people who introduced overseas videos with subtitles. So I started to call myself “Subtitles King” to make a name that stands out without thinking ahead (this was a failure because I did not plan to appear in the world so much).
“However, around 2019, there were too few viewers despite the hardships, so I decided to go out of business, so I did nothing, and on the contrary, my main business was extremely busy. When the coronavirus began, I didn’t watch any overseas videos, I didn’t have any information, and I thought that a really scary virus was wandering around.
“When I heard the story of British conspiracy theorist David Icke, who asked me what was going on, I said, “All this is a lie.” After hearing his stories of Andrew Kaufman, Thomas Cowan, and Dawn Lester and David Parker, who would later translate their books, I was convinced that it was a complete lie in about a week.
“At that time, of course, newspapers and television were inciting fear, and I bought a megaphone and went out to Tokyo from the thought that “I have to do something about it”, and I was making a street call by myself, saying, “All this is a lie.” After that, I belonged to an organization called Nikomi-kai (the activity ended on 2025/2), where I held dozens of demonstrations and street announcements. After the vaccine appeared, it was against the vaccine, and together with the families of the victims, it is a memorial demonstration / march for victims.
“At the same time, I started giving lectures in June, and I am working to convey the information I obtained from overseas videos to many people. In October 2021, the co-translation “Planned! The Coronavirus Pandemic,” a translation by Lester/Parker in December 2023: “What Really Makes You Sick?” ”

It’s important mentioning that Jimaku-san had more than a few years translating and putting James’ content out there on his own, without James even being aware of it.
In doing so, Jimakudaio became familiar with James’ overall style: how he introduces a prescient topic quite neutrally, how he uses dry humour to get certain points across, and how he ties that into something which is relevant to his audience.
Reportage JP wasn’t simply just a translated book. It was a collaboration between two minds who truly understood each other. I am proud to have introduced the two.

Boy, that cover looks like a cross between a tech horror novel and a roadside billboard. Different world indeed. But, hey, what works works. It’s so cool that you were able to get it translated.

Narratives are certainly powerful things that control us. Even the ones that we have a hand in creating. So, how do we get more control over the narratives than they have over us?
What is the difference between a narrative and a paradigm? Nothing. I reckon. An ideology? The first two are necessary for our thinking and acting processes. Ideology is similar, but it is a more ossified form. This makes it stronger, but more inflexible. This is bad when it makes you rigid.
In all cases, it is imperative to not get stuck in confirmation bias. We need these paradigms, just as science needs its theories, but it is essential that we can easily change or jettison them when new evidence arises. They must be understood as modifiable, even expendable provisional tools, rather than rules from God. This usually comes down to psychology and understanding our own egos. It is also connected to lack of intelligence, which is connected to lazy tribalistic and overly emotional biases.
So we want to control narratives, but by investing in a particular narrative we become attached to it, and increase our own cognitive bias. We can ideally control narratives for ourselves, but the business of creating them for others is not for me. It is what our enemies do.
There are no shortcuts. Things will only feature more integrity when more people find the tools and energy to create their own factually VALID narratives and paradigms. This is a long-term evolutionary development for humanity, and is not guaranteed, but it is also not hopeless.
