[…] The Monsanto Protection Act was slipped quietly through the Congress in the usual back door manner. Officially called the Farmer Assurance Provision, the resolution puts Monsanto, with all their toxins like Agent Orange and Round-up, as well as their genetically modified food stuffs, beyond the reach of the judicial system. The courts cannot stop the death brokering company from growing crops deemed to be potentially dangerous. There is also no requirement to have these horrible foods labeled. If you eat them and they eventually prove to be toxic to your health and well being you have no recourse but to either starve or slowly be poisoned to death. The entire Senate passed the bill containing this ‘protection act’, but the politician who actually gave Monsanto the pen in order to write their very own legislation is no other than Roy Blunt – a Republican Senator from Missouri.
