Hanky, that’s a good idea. Not only is the cover art a vast departure from Reportage, a lot of the tag lines are different as well. So, here is what the Japanese says:

The look on your face at Kinokuniya when you first saw the book displayed there on the shelf, it was one of pure joy and delight. BTW subscribers, I hadn’t told James that it was on sale there. I didn’t want to spoil the surprise.

I got a chuckle out of the translator’s pen name: Jimakudaiou, 字幕大王, meaning “the great [movie] subtitles king”.
