Resistance Cinema – #SolutionsWatch

by | Mar 4, 2026 | Solutions Watch, Videos | 16 comments

We all know that Hollyweird is programming us with their soulless, corporate slop. And we all know they’re preparing to force-feed us their future soulless, corporate, AI-generated slop. So, what are we doing about it? Are we continuing to pay for their propaganda and brainrot? Or are we supporting the independent filmmakers and media producers who are seeking to create passionate, human, anti-propandistsic art? Today on Solutions Watch, James talks to filmmakers Teace Snider and Amy Miller (and documentary subject Mark Crispin Miller) about Resistance Cinema (and how you can support it!).

  1. Well Shaun,
what do you have to say about this now that you are a full time Media person? Would you up for interviewing Corbett in his living room? You’re part of the family now. Believe me, Such exposes’ make it more truthfully truthful. more real ? More believable? A good thing as opposed to a occulted bad thing.
It’s a curious thing for sure ; some time back that a real smart media guy said the news about WW lll will be reported about on YouTube.
And here I am today, watching a slow motion creature being formed right before my eyes and ears. Headlines, clickbate shocking in its lack of facts. However diabolical the Zionists get with all their double taps the University of Tulsa will play East Carolina on Thursday night in a meaningless whole magic cloth of distraction.
No you see it now you don’t. Media ,the mother of all distractions.

  2. I don’t know.
On one hand I do appreciate your effort to get people to pull away from corporate cartoonification and propaganda but on the other it seems to me the pachyderm in the room is there is a VERY important need to wean people off of digital dialog all together and get people to talk face to face, read books, socialize.

The web is bloated, people smear who they fear, a furthering of the infantilization of the American people. A confusion of investigation vs supposition blurring truth and slipping into Egregore or collective group mind ‘tribes.’

One of the advantages of growing up decades before the Internet is I still carry with me the truth of ‘coffee shop,’ face to face discussions where BS propagandists could only mumble a bit of nonsense before others would call them on it.
We didn’t go to political events to hold up cameras to take selfies, we went to hear what people had to offer. There were no public forums like blogs where one could achieve narcissistic needs of attention where Internet anonymity breeds no civil accountability.

And the cliche “bottom line” of course will be the vampirazation of our time as thousands of people begin to publish movies and the market place is glutted like 5PM New York traffic.

  3. I would donate to help produce an interactive therapy: “The Mirror” by Larken Rose. Years ago he conceived it. I am guessing he found it considerably more complicated than he imagined, got stumped, and shelved it.
Now, with AI, he might be motivated to finish it.

  4. We are creating a vaccine to straighten out all those who doubt our vaccines. We are creating movies and media to correct all those who doubt our movies and media. We are monitoring which tools will be more successful; movies that can also destroy vaccine hesitancy, or vaccines that can also destroy media doubt. Congratulations for being a part of this vast open air trial. For the foreseeable future, we will produce and push both, as the ‘printing’ of infinite money allows for that.

PS Ai is the great new tool that helps out with both of the aforementioned tools. Luckily, the combination of Artificial Intelligence and Natural Stupidity should assure our ultimate victory. Hail to the King! Long Live Virtual Reality!

    • “Artificial Intelligence and Natural Stupidity should assure our ultimate victory.”

      I loved that line. 🙂

      • ‘We’ also have an advantage, with Artificial Stupidity widely trumping Natural Intelligence today.
‘Our’ Utopia of perfectly controlled drone citizens is nearly assured.

          • Thanks for the reply. Well, at least I now know that someone is listening to me. I guess I am just working out my thoughts, while honing my language skills. Maybe one day it will be useful, articulating something that comes up.

Your Robohumans song deals with a quite fundamental problem that is snowballing these days. Gone are the days when you could just assume the story and presenters of a clip or a movie or a documentary were actual humans or sincerely held beliefs. Gone are the days when people, especially the young, even cared about what is real. I still like truth, and fear the darkness of its absence, but I am just getting to be an obsolete old fuddy-duddy.

            • >>Well, at least I now know that someone is listening to me.>>
Probably a top ten issue I have had to deal with in life is not having expectations of outcomes from my actions or behavior. This is the only site I comment on and it is infected with the same tribal, and social ills, albeit less, as other sites.

              >>I guess I am just working out my thoughts, while honing my language skills. Maybe one day it will be useful, articulating something that comes up.>>
Got me to reply to you 🙂

              >>Your Robohumans song deals with a quite fundamental problem that is snowballing these days. I agree whole heartedly Hanky. l will be 84 tomorrow and though it is cliche to say…this isn’t my world. It is absent so much it is much like the Stranger in A Strange Land novel come to life. The brilliant but psychopathic controllers have mapped out this next coming “reset” like social surgeons. I guess since it has been done before they improve.

I’d like to turn you on to truth that is something very profound for ‘old fuddy duddies’:

I found this essay extremely comforting. It is about how the systems currently being employed to enslave will not succeed and WHY their ultimate failure occurs. He makes points with examples of Ghengis Khan and Canada amongst others. It gave me hope. I thought he substantiated his claims well.

  6. Todays SOLUTIONS WATCH made me so proud to have literally grown up in and then participated as an actress in an anti-hollywood revolution …namely the Australian film industry !
When WE went to ( or snuck in to ) the drive- in on the weekends , we were watching …well yeah SUPERMAN ( marlon brando, christopher reeve !) but mainly aussie movies directed by Peter Weir, George Miller, Bruce Beresford, Gillian Armstrong. Thats not even mentioning the cinematographers, the crews, the designers, all sadly now huge hollywood stars. I remember Mel Gibson telling me that Peter Weir had a nervous breakdown after his first hollywood movie . Mel reckoned Peter was just too sensitive for that dark environment. The first movie i EVER saw was ‘Picnic at hanging Rock ‘ directed by Peter Weir . My point is, we grew up watching movies and hearing ,seeing stories about us !
THE LAST WAVE and THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY and GALLIPOLI by Peter Weir
MY BRILLIANT CAREER and STARSTRUCK by Gill Armstrong
even the BAZZA MACKENZIE films with ‘Edna Everage’ ( the late great Barry Humphries )

Then Crocodile Dundee kind of wrecked everything 🙁

It is kind of amusing to listen to brilliant Americans and Canadians talk about ‘Resistance Cinema ‘ as though its their invention ! Forgive my brash aussie rudeness ! We didn’t have a category called ‘low budget’ or ‘Indie’ or ‘Resistance Cinema’ !!
How much did 2nd year NIDA (national institute of dramatic art )students Mel Gibson and Steve Bisley get paid for MAD MAX? Bugger all ( australian vernacular for a pittance 🙂

Broc ? Maaate ? Do you agree ?

Having said that, this SOLUTIONS WATCH really inspired and energised me . I hope it does the same for you . I immediately sent it to my cinematographer brother .
My first leading role was in ‘ LOVE SERENADE ‘ written and directed by Shirley Barrett and produced by Jan Chapman ( academy award winner for THE PIANO )
It won the Camera D’or ( best first feature film ) at Cannes and meeting Harvey Weinstein at Cannes after he bought Love Serenade was the end of me ! That eco-system is Soul destroying. Funny hey ? What is a dream -come- true for most actors ,was a hell realm to me . Our win at Cannes was considered ‘the pinnacle ‘ by the folk in the film industry . We beat Angelica Huston and Al Pacino for crying out loud ,but its not why I went to NIDA to study theatre. Its not why i did puppet shows for people waiting at the bus stop , when i was ten years old !! That scene at Cannes was exactly the opposite of what i dreamed and worked for. I always considered this an ART , not an INDUSTRY. I love what Teace Snyder is saying about bringing back ‘story.’ !

  7. CONTINUED
It was at Cannes however ,that I met Seymour Cassell and he spoke at length to me about his work with John Cassavetes and he said “there is no other way, but to make
    your own films .”

It was also at Cannes , in a limousine on the way to a screening of FARGO that we were mobbed whilst the limo was moving and we were still in it , looking out at hysterical faces squashed against the window ,until…..someone actually looked in at us and shouted “HEY ITS NOBODY !!!” and like magic, the mob vanished !! Ha ha ha

May Teaces’ vision come true so that he may facilitate an environment for the new generation of ‘Resistance Cinema ‘. May they carry the revolutionary aussie film-makers torch into the 21st century and beyond.

And a special link for our ‘Warren Beatty fan’ who just outed himself about ‘Dick Tracey ‘ ? (JC;)
Below is a link to a story written by my director of LOVE SERENADE. Its the story of her encounter with the man himself at a private dinner given for Shirley at his Hollywood home after he saw the film.

      • Thank you so much homeremedysupply. I always appreciate all of your input here at Corbett and recently mentioned you in the Iran thread ! Since you express interest in my ramblings ,I’ll ramble a bit more …
The first person to begin my education in ‘Conspiracy Reality ‘was, ,directly after graduating from NIDA ( acting school) Mel ( Gibson ;also a NIDA graduate and we had the same agent )
invited me to his big farm down at Tangambalanga with Robyn and their already quite large family!
This meant more relaxed and meaningful conversations could happen and they did . My young eyes were opened about fame and it’s deleterious impact , world affairs , the future , Vatican II , architecture, theatre 🎭.
I tell you homeremedysupply that not many farm sheds in the world have hay bales , a tractor , tools AND piles and piles and piles of rejected Hollywood scripts spilling out of the shelves !!! Ha !!
Anyway , he handed me a pamphlet by a guy named I think it was …Peter Sawyer ? It was basically, I recall ,about the future destruction of society and in a nutshell the coming digital control grid ! I remembered vaguely that he wrote , in the future you won’t be able to go to your corner store for milk without being traced and tracked … something like that .
Mel knew back then he was going to be persecuted ( put on a naughty list )
for being a thoughtful actor , a highly intelligent actor and digging into these matters and questioning everything.
        He was right !

  8. Hello again. I should add MY POINT to the ramblings in case that is not clear .

    That is …
Its entirely POSSIBLE to make your own stories without Hollywood funding . If you want hands on advice , write to Jan Chapman or John Winter or Matt Hird who produced or distributed John Pilgers’ docos , any of the top Australian producers for advice on how to make world class cinema on the smell of an oily rag .

I worked on a tiny little movie once ( well every time !!!) and the ENTIRE crew had just come off the 2nd MATRIX movie which was shot in the new Fox Studios in Sydney . The producer John Winter made that possible . These guys and gals just loved to work and loved working together as a team , so we were blessed with this incredible crew for the three week shoot, which is about the average for an aussie film shoot.

You all can do this too .

Some of the best films ever made were made on the smell of an oily rag by the young people in Australia who became… George Miller , Peter Weir, Bruce Beresford , John Seale, Dean Semler and my fellow NIDA student alum , Catherine Martin and Baz Luhrman .Baz and Catherines’ first film was devised in 2nd year at drama school (NIDA). School is ( or can be ) an invaluable place to explore, take risks and develop as an artist . Catherine Austin Fitts is inspired to have auspiced THE YOUNG BUILDERS program to provide such an environment .

AND some of the best documentaries ever made were by the great Australian John Pilger Journalist ( with a capital J !) again on the smell of an oily rag ! ( maybe i need to adjust that analogy now the strait of hormuz is shut !!:)

    https://johnpilger.com/films/ https://johnpilger.com/thalidomide-the-ninety-eight-we-forgot/

    https://johnpilger.com/the-coming-war-on-china/

Another inspirational experience I had was witnessing the birth of John Polsons TROPFEST.
Its inspiring that if you don’t over think things, you can do anything !
TROPFEST is now a world famous short film festival . I was doing a play in Kings Cross with John Polson and Gia Carides . It was the late 80’s at Johns’ favourite cafe The Tropicana (‘the Trop’) in Darlinghurst , that he did a ‘screening at ‘the trop’ of a little movie he shot called ‘Harold goes to Town’ starring Miles Buchanan . (Harold goes to his office in town the same way every day until 25 years later on the day he has retired ,he’s driving and sees for the first time a short cut on his way home ! )That little short film on a video tape lit a spark
    !!
John Polson started to invite his friends( Hugo Weaving, Naomi Watts , Nic Kidman, Russell Crowe etc ) in the industry to submit short films for showing at ‘the tropicana cafe’ and ..the rest is history .

    GO FOR IT
