So, Fox News just interviewed a talking head and it looks…weird. Am I taking crazy pills or is that TV talking head wearing a face mask? Or maybe they just want us to believe we’re taking crazy pills. Or maybe this is the beginning of the deepfake post-truth reality in which we believe nothing and are divided and conquered? Find out what all the hubbub is about (and what it really means) on today’s edition of #PropagandaWatch!

  1. I listened to your mp3 and did see the pictures. It could be a partly mask. Also here in Sweden I saw a 17.2kHz transmitter from 1922 in south Sweden. They test it 3 a year directly between South Sweden and New York city. The generator weighs 1.5 Tons and is pulled by a 500 HP electromotor. It was produced in the USA, but the USA has sold it’s own for old metal. So the Swedish one is the only radio station today. During the WWII they discovered it could talk to submarines under the water, 6 meter debs. They used it to talk to the submarines.
    They are morsing the message. With 17.2kHz it is far too slow for voice. It is now owned by the military and maintained by 7 people at an organisation.

  2. Speaking as someone who has worked as a professional photographer in a studio, who has set up studio lighting, what looks like the edge of a rubber mask on his neck could be a shadow from the collar of his shirt from a particularly strong fill light.
    The lack of wrinkles could be be from a ring light, pointed directly at his face.

    The story about the possibility that he’s wearing a rubber mask feeds into the distrust of what is presented on the “news,” so that people lose even more interest.
    If people lose interest, they stop resisting. they roll over and continue to accept nonsense.
    It could also feed into alien / reptilian beliefs.
    Like maybe this guy has been a reptilian all along, and everything David Icke has told us about reptilian overlords is true, and god doesn’t exist and the white man was created in a lab, and earth is a human farm and the aliens / reptilians feed on our souls, because they’re also vampires. Probably.

    • There does look to be strong side and under lighting, but I’m having trouble matching the shadows to the skin down near the bottom. The other interesting artifact is the uneven lines going down from the chin.

    • Maybe he got a facelift at the same place Cher did? I always imagined she had to use a lever and ratchet to right up her face in ten mornings.

      Or maybe and Victoria Principal are both vampires????

  3. My take on this episode is that the ‘reveal’ of talking heads in the news could possibly be fake is social engineering to further erode the information consuming public’s trust in all media.

    I imagine that an in-studio recording segment, where a crew of technicians, and producers, and directors, and makeup artists are present, that a mistake of having a mask showing would be immediately noticed and handled.

    Trust in everything we see and hear online today is suspect, and ‘Maskgate’ might be produced to accelerate that.

    Who needs ‘Project Blue Beam’ when you’ve got AI face filters ?!

    • Similar thought occurred to me. Could the owners really be this clumsy? Or is it a deliberate ‘reveal’?

  4. I feel that the demise of sites like liveleaks etc. was a big help to the government propaganda machine.
    It became accepted on mainstream news to not show pictures which are ’too shocking’ or have to be pixelated, or hidden because a child might be photographed.
    Then all we are left with is the media saying ‘trust me this footage would show this if you were allowed to see it’.
    Many of the hoax terror attacks over the last ten years were purged from the internet because people were pointing out the glaring discrepancies,
    under the excuse that it was ‘content that denies any well-documented violent events’.
    It is even easier to lie visually now with AI.

  5. You know, the voice doesn’t really match the face.

  6. SO! How did you and James Evan Pilato compare heightwise when you met up in Japan? After all the supposition, questioning, and speculating, the least you could do is tell us!

    • If I were Mr Corbett I’d be setting up a bet on Polymarket and making money off the info….but maybe I am a bad person lolol

  7. I hear the word believe a lot in this podcast. Believe is not something I do. I either know something, or I don’t.

    • That sounds based, but the truth is that there are lots of things we don’t and CAN NOT know. That’s not to negate what your saying but in fact we are forced to believe some things because it’s impossible to personally check everything out ourselves- esp in the modern world.

      I believe a guy I know comes from China, but I have not gone to check if China is a real place.

      We believe others love us, but we can not truly know what’s inside their head.

      We believe we understand what others are saying to us but in some level we just have to take it in trust that we do understand.

      The problem with people today is that interesting philosophical ideas like what I just wrote are taken too seriously. The human condition is one of general ignorance and trust on higher powers…..the important question is where we place that trust.

      The issue a lot of people have is that as a culture we have been either trusting blindly or leaning on our own understanding beyond our capacities.

      Personally I trust God has my best interests at heart, I trust people love me and I trust that they and I share a common understanding of words. I even trust China (and Japan) are real places…. 🙂

  8. Carl Stroud said,
    “The fundamental audience need has not changed: People want to TRUST what they are reading.”

    “What has changed is how much harder that judgment has become.
    “AI-generated content, aggregation, and low-quality slop have made the information environment noisier, flatter, and more confusing, so audiences are now trying to work out whether they are reading original reporting, rehashed content, or something that should never have been published in the first place.”

    “..everything sounds the same….”

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    What strikes me is the fundamental need that people want to trust in things.
    Personally, I think that this ‘axiom’ is why many people gravitate to The Corbett Report.
    • I would say it boils down to laziness. How much of the information we assimilate we can afford to double check? Besides, double checking has gotten much harder due to search engines getting shot to hell.
      Taking all things with a grain of salt is the reasonable approach.
  9. Hi Everyone, as James alluded to, maybe it is best for the majority of information we absorb from media sources to hold an objective view that neither completely believes or disbelieves the particular thing we are watching or listening to until perhaps it is corroborated or verified by a source we trust. Living with questions seems a good attitude to have. It doesn’t stop one having an opinion but so long as there is some humility underpinning that opinion that infers, ‘it appears to be like this but I could be wrong…’ then that seems like a sane way to navigate this world of appearances we are in. Gut feelings/intuitions obviously also inform our view of the world and need to be trusted again with some reservations. The old adage ‘holding one’s own council’ also seems relevant in this context when so many opinions are flying around. Also that biblical quote in paraphrase, the wisdom to cultivate the ‘guile of the serpent and the innocence of the dove’ in equal measure seems apposite to remember. Innocence tempered by experience – the middle way.
  10. Even for those who have distrusted media for a LONG time, we’ve entered a Twilight Zone kind of phase where it has become downright nightmarish. Not only due to such deep BS fedslop dumped on the airwaves, but also as we observe around us and stare in disbelief at the large numbers of humans who actually BELIEVE it. Scary.
    On the flip side, the memes and t-shirts shouting “WE DESERVE BETTER PSYOPS” make complete sense.
    Thanks to Corbett and others like him for being an oasis of critical thinking among the madness. Much appreciated.
    • Not only do we deserve BETTER psyops, we DON’T deserve re-used ones like the hanta cruise ship.
  11. Well, they haven’t managed to pull off the Sci-fi world’s of the Jetsons and Flash Gordon, but they are fulfilling a very nice version of the dystopic sci-fi futures.
  12. I am not a high-tech videographer, but I am an artist who knows a lot about shadows and illusion.
    Here is a sculpture that I recently created for a client with an armadillo fetish. (No moving parts, no video manipulation)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enIVQUwPA18
    To me, it is clear that the shadow is an Ai artifact. Of course it looks weird immediately. The reason for this, beyond the crisp upper line of the black meeting the neck, is the white at the bottom of the shadow, the mouth-like area that James sees. This is impossible with a simple studio underlight. It would be the darkest area of the shadow, not the lightest, were it a natural shadow.
    The smooth, reverse-aging of the face is just a bonus.
    I wish I could help with the deeper philosophical questions that are raised, but I must admit that it is unclear what is happening, except that there is a powerful, and increasingly successful, effort to make things unclear.
    • That was both very cool and creepy. It’s a really good piece of work
      If you had made an idol back in Greek or Roman times folks would have been lining up outside the temple with the “live” idol to come see.
      • The armadillo clip was of a rough working model. I never made a video clip of the finished piece, as the shipping deadline had me packing and sending it the second that it was dry.
        Of course, it ended up never arriving on time anyway, due to a huge Fed Ex screw up.
        That reminds me of my large Public Art job for the Dallas Zoo. I had to make a 2700 square foot continuous cylindrical interior mural for the newly constructed restaurant. The bottom of the cylindrical mural was 13 feet off of the floor. The top was up 26 feet. When I was finishing up the preparatory phases they said don’t paint it. Convert it all to digital files and print it. That cost me $60,000 (over 20 years ago). I didn’t know photoshop yet. They said that they were afraid that I couldn’t paint it fast enough. Of course, the opening of the restaurant was delayed an entire year because they found a flaw in the foundation and floor. So the print, which was much lower quality than my paint would have been, was installed and hidden for a year.
        Another case of futile rush jobs…
      …optical illusion exhibit area in a major science museum in Dallas
      around 1989….
  13. Yes,
    I have mastered and created several novel illusions, but I have learned to share everything about the illusions, and how they worked. I filled the optical illusion exhibit area in a major science museum in Dallas around 1989. To me it is linked to science and reasoning even more than it is to entertainment and magic. This is the opposite of encouraging delusions, like the PTSB, powers that shouldn’t be. In the beginning (60 yrs ago), I was happy to take advantage of other people’s gullibility and desire to mesmerize themselves. But now, my main aim is to open people’s minds to possibilities, including questioning, in a fruitful way, what they think they know.
  14. I’ve noticed on social media and YouTube that there are a number of fake AI channels, groups, etc that are peppered throughout. Could this be a test to see how many people are buying into the AI lie? Or, perhaps it’s a desensitizing op?
    So, maybe this is an AI filter put there to either gauge reaction or to just get people used to AI stuff. The people who do this kind of thing to their fellow human beings are so sociopathic that I wouldn’t be surprised if this were true. Perhaps the upside is that people are just getting tired of the endless stream of BS they’re being fed. This could lead to a complete rejection of all of it, fingers crossed.
  15. AI filter producing artifacts seems to most likely. If for no other reason than the fox news production staff will be desperate to be able to tell their bosses that they are using AI.
  16. I’m guessing that the controllers are once again using fear for control. The onslaught of all the recent AI fear shows, reports, etc. Perhaps what is available to us is like some junior grade of AI to condition us for something much more deviant or malicious.
    As I posted recently DuckAI lied with 5 version of an 1878 letter I had that was written by a 16yo girl. Including one version where it attributed the letter to a soldier about to go into battle.
    I tested it on a few other subjects and it is ALWAYS some long winded nonsense until I call it out. Today, re watching V I got to wondering how many years of my life had no war.
    I eventually had two rephrase it after AI’s 815 words.
    ME:
    Damn, it is really difficult to get an answer from you. Again, in my 84 years has there ever been a time span when the US wasn’t murdering, taking over other governments, etc. If you know of any secret campaigns include them.
    AI:
    Short answer: No — if you include all U.S. use of lethal force, covert interventions, and military operations worldwide, there has not been a sustained period since your birth (March 6, 1942) when the United States was entirely free of such actions.
    Which means it is the same reply for anyone reading this.
    In spite of all the very creative, talented, fun loving people in our country.
    Think about that, we have been a murderous, villainous, cutthroat nation all yours and my lives.
    And we are quite likely at the edge of something even worse.
  17. How about just don’t watch television and also limit your use of YouTube.
    Recently I find myself to not be interested anymore in the news. These Corbett Videos about absurd topics are quite entertaining though.
  18. In my opinion, this is just a badly applied so called filter. It may be questionable at what exact point in production is the filter applied. Maybe AI is not to be questioned so its work goes to live production without being double-checked by lowly humans.
    Insane stuff like that happens all over industries these days. Just as an example, that’s how site availability for github has gotten from the long standing industry standard of 99.99% to below 90%. All in the name on artificial efficiency.
    I can hear Ayn Rand exclaim “I told you so”.
  19. It is probably AI and it’s delivery is a scary message – saves money to deliver bullshit to the brainwashed – I suppose the real person gets some sort of fee?
  20. I think James is correct to think something is wrong with this Retired Admiral being paraded on Fox. Indeed, I would have over looked it because I have no problem believing that a retired Admiral would sell his soul to the devil, and what he was preaching was the same old bomb the people you are pretending to save crap. Yet, after seeing some of the research James did on this validating that this guy was a real Admiral (so was John McCain’s father), and the other interview done on the same day comparing lines in the face and what not, I would conclude that the one interview was done by a masked man. But then why what Fox (or the Zionists who control them) want to do something like that when they can interview the real guy saying the same things?
    Well, I have a theory on that and it does have to do with making their bullshit harder to differentiate from the truth. I hypothesize that much like Event 201 was played out in 2019 to predict how the masses would react to a world wide Covid Scam, this masked man was interviewed to see how people would react so that they could track how people seek out the truth and I think James did a great job of training their AI (even though he had no intention of doing so). The fact that Fox (like the Fox guarding the hen house) was so tuned into what alternative media was saying and that they were able to manage those sites one would go to get validation is very scary. So there you have it, after doing some research, James Corbett who is far better at this than most of us cannot conclusively say whether the man in the interview was masked. I contend that most people say that they checked their sources and the man in the interview was not masked, yet I say James is right to say something is wrong with that interview and that it may in fact be a big deal.
  21. People seem to have way too much times on their hands. Stop all this ridiculous speculation about fake stuff and go out and do something real.
    My grandfather once told me “Don’t believe antything you hear and only half of what you see.” That was good advice back in the ’60’s and now in 2026 I’d have to say, “… and none of what you see either.”
    Why care anyway. 99% has always been bullshit and most likely will continue as such.
    Do what you enjoy and if this kind of nonsense appeals to you, then go for it.
    I, on the other hand could care less if everyone is wearing a mask.(Clue- WE ARE!)
  22. — UPDATE –
