The propaganda surrounding the “Russia hacked the election” meme is, quite frankly, beneath the intelligence of The Corbett Report community. But this hodgepodge of evidence-free assertions is still driving the 24/7 fake news cycle, so today James rolls up his sleeve and shows the latest propaganda for what it is.

  1. James,

Thank you for this presentation and the level of comic relief which at least makes this massive grisly turd tolerable enough to examine. I wish it weren’t even necessary at this point, but I’m going to bookmark this for the sake of conclusively demonstrating to those I still occasionally encounter who aren’t able to fully grasp just how transparently asinine this Russian “hacking” rhetoric is. Well done my friend =]

  3. Bloomberg – “Inside Russia’s Hacker Underworld”
    (7 minutes)

In my opinion, the sophistication of Russian state Information Technology (IT) is extremely over-rated when compared to the NSA.

    Bloomberg on general Russian Technology
    (43 minute video)
In 2004 only 9% of the Russian people had internet access.
Also, note Russia’s version of “FACEBOOK”.
Video gets juicy at around the 10 minute mark.

  4. I’d like to commend James for being determinate enough to wade through all of those “reports” paper pushers at FBI and NSA provide as proof of their hypocrisy.

Since I’m quite bit under the weather these last days and for future consideration, I’d like to see videos containing material tainted with Kirby imagery and statements to be rated accordingly. Rated “K” for Kirby or maybe rated “V” for vomit inducing. At least put a parental warning before the infringing section of the video. Thanks.

*US tanks arrive in Germany for NATO mission in Europe*
The military deployments came amid increased political tensions between Moscow and Washington, which accuses the Russian government of orchestrating cyber-attacks that allegedly influenced the 2016 US presidential elections and helped Donald Trump win the vote over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Local mouthpieces like to insist on this type of information. And even though alajzeera introduces a modicum of scrutiny in their reporting, local media completely sanitize it of any critical observations.

  5. Another interesting analysis of the “intelligence report” from Eli the Computer Guy

“This report is not about improving firewalls, intrusion detection, or data protection – it is about controlling speech.”

(Prior Trump discusses Hacking and Russia, but at this point Trump nails Hillary and Podesta on what was released in the emails.)

    • That’s a great video lol Pointing his finger and all, well done. Of course, he didn’t cover any new ground with his revelation but I bet he managed to upset some of those sorry sons of bitches. Any fragments of truth are bound to.

    • Watched the whole thing and have to ask, how many times has Russia been named, especially by the press? How many times have these same press people mentioned the citizens of US? Almost all questions were about Russia 😀 It’s like the soviet scare all over again.

I remember from the Oliver Stone’s “Untold history of US” he stated that there was a major discrepancy at the time JFK got into office, regarding the level of nuclear armaments. US had a lot more than Soviets did, but there was still a lot pressure to keep pumping more and more stuff out. I wonder what’s the real state of affairs today.

Even though, probably it’s not that much important, since what’s the difference between having 4000 nukes and 9000 nukes?

  7. When did he state this? Several times he went out of his way to state it may have been Russia but others as well.

Of course the correct answer would “complete and utter bullshit” but you get what you get.

I agree! Right out of the gate, Trump goes after the MainStreamMedia.
    I loved seeing this.
    It is uplifting.
He displayed some well honed leadership qualities in his address.
I’ll bet people all around the world stood up cheering like at a football game.

I will eat crow* on some of my skepticism about Trump, at least on this particular “Trump episode”.

    • VACCINES – Trump and Robert Kennedy Jr
“Vaccination skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he would chair a presidential panel to review vaccine safety and science at U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s request, drawing fierce criticism from vaccine experts who fear such a panel would give credence to debunked theories tying childhood immunizations to autism…”

In August 2016, two Dallas 9/11 Truth group members went to a presentation by The Nation of Islam in southern Dallas. In this presentation, the story about vaccines and Robert Kennedy is discussed.
      (Video – couple of minutes)

I would wager that people will make some great money by buying “put options” on these MMR vaccine makers.

  9. Ok, I agree with James assessments about the latest “Russia hacked the election” propaganda being peddled around, but is it complete propaganda, or is there truth in it, can it really be that far fetched that Putin would dare meddled in the US election given we know Putin favored Trump over Hillary and the reason might be financial

and then we have The Donald asking Russia to hack Clinton

So I understand why Trump wants this to go away, and I also understand why the US intelligence agencies and NATO would want to keep this in the news as inaugurations draws near, but why can’t we believe Putin hacked the election in Trumps favor, while also believe US, NATO and Nuland meddled in Russia’s backyard (Ukraine), tit for tat type thing.

I view this latest propaganda news reel as a way for the US intelligence agencies of warning Trump…basically saying “hey buddy, better not cozy up to Putin to much.”

  10. 5pm Jan 12, 2017 – Reuters
“FBI investigated over pre-election decisions on Clinton email”

…The Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General said in a statement that its investigation would focus in part on decisions leading up to public statements by FBI Director James Comey regarding the Clinton investigation and whether they may have been based on “improper considerations.”…

…President-elect Donald Trump, who will be sworn in Jan. 20, will not have the power to dismiss the probe. But federal law permits U.S. presidents to dismiss inspectors general for federal agencies, as long as the president provides Congress a written justification for the removal 30 days in advance…

…In October, less than two weeks before the Nov. 8 election, Comey sent members of Congress a letter saying the FBI was resuming the investigation because of new emails found on the computer of disgraced former Representative Anthony Weiner, the husband of one of Clinton’s top aides.
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch had informed Comey the day before he sent the letter that doing so would conflict with official Justice Department guidance that instructs employees to “never select the timing of investigative steps … for the purpose of affecting any election.”…

…”Conspicuously absent, though, is any specific reference to the attorney general’s failure to recuse herself from the probe, particularly after her meeting with former President (Bill) Clinton,” said Senator Grassley in a statement….

  11. Great nugget tucked at the end of the video about nationalizing the elections. The National Infrastructure Protection Plan doesn’t get enough scrutiny, and it is the true flash point where government and the private sector are fusing together.

Project for the New American Century (PNAC) was a neoconservative (NEOCON) think tank founded by William Kristol and Robert Kagan in 1997 until 2006 when it was “rebranded” as the Foreign Policy Initiative in 2009. It sought American global dominance by nefarious methods and by the continuation of strife in different regions, even a “new type of cold war between major nations”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century
