    and so you don’t comply.

  3. Back into cash then, for now. Going full-blooded analogue makes the most sense. Until it doesn’t.

    I’ve been researching my ancestors this week, and a quick look at their commonest occupations from the late 1700s to the mid 1800s reveals most were agricultural workers, publicans, small business owners and tradespeople. No shopping malls.

    We used to be able to feed ourselves and trade with each other without the need for outside interference, which sounds good to me. Poor but happy.
