Today James talks to Barry Cooper about his remarkable journey from being one of the top narcotics officers in Texas law enforcement to an activist busting crooked cops and helping drug users avoid arrest. If you haven’t heard Barry’s remarkable story yet, buckle up and bring a notebook. It’s a wild ride.

NeverGetBusted Volume 1 Official: Traffic Stops – Full Video by BARRY COOPER

Splendid, he is great. .
He is certainly entertaining- I think I heard him some years ago on NPR being interviewed and he was interesting then too
Yeah…that loud, assertive Texan character reminded me of why I don’t go drinking in low-rent west Texas bars.
Homie,
The Oklahoma delegation knows full well what you are talking about. For example, famous psychos from Texas would include Bernard Eastlund, H.A.R.R.P. patent holder from Spring Texas.
The wacko list is proportional to the size of the great state.
Must be something in the water.
“There can be only one!” – Highlander (1986)
Clarification about low-rent west Texas bars.
Portions of some west Texas communities look like dumps scattered on barren land. One example is the “El Ranchito Gentlemen’s Club” in Pecos, Texas. Oil rough-neck crews make up a good portion of the bar trade in the west Texas Permian Basin. These are tough, strong men who work grueling hours. If ya get a group of crowing roosters in a confined space, you’re sure to have trouble.
Big Sandy and Gladewater are in east Texas, beautiful pine and lake country.
It is said that Barry Cooper got into a yelling match with a woman in a Big Sandy bar, and ended up with a minor misdemeanor charge.
Some of Barry’s attorneys really liked him as a friend. (e.g. James Gill, Bobby Mims)
Journalist Stephen C. Webster has authored a string of stories about Barry Cooper.
I’m citing one of his articles.
https://progressive.org/latest/drug-war-insurgent-flees-u.s.-claiming-death-threats/
The following Bobby Mims quotation might had been contrived in order to help Barry Cooper out in Brazil. But, it is a cool quote nonetheless…
EXCERPT
Houston defense attorney Bobby Mims, who Cooper partially blames for converting him from what Mims called “a redneck semi-racist” to “a flaming liberal,” explained that he wrote a letter to Brazilian officials on Cooper’s behalf, not as his attorney but as a friend and a respected third-party who could vouch for Cooper’s admittedly bizarre situation.
“I met Cooper after he come out of the right end of a bar fight and got charges on him [about 10 years ago],”
he said.
“We ended up getting not guilty on him… even though Barry whipped the guy pretty good. So he thinks I’m a great lawyer, and for years when something happened he would call me.”
Live example of a permanently disabled person exposing a network of at least 6 law firms in Illinois, U.S.:
http://www.fraudonthecourt.net
The general public needs to know what officers of the court (your own retained attorneys as covert teams) can do to them (with no consequences) in something like a civil personal injury case.
This is what it looks like if you take on covert networks of law firms directly. You will receive no support through the regulatory agency of the judicial branch or through any sitting judge. You cannot retain yet another law firm because what law firm will risk their registration status to support you? Simply because you are injured (not through your own fault) and need to use a courtroom for compensation, this can happen to you, too.
In short, it is rare that a permanently disabled person will ever be able to reverse engineer the amount of deception they could be subject to in civil court. They won’t know what happened to their case or claims. This example gives a rare glimpse of the many things that can happen to you in a courtroom without your knowledge.
The permanently disabled person who was repeatedly attacked by his own law firms is my brother. I am the sole author of the website and I have risked retaliatory lawsuits for the last 3 years to place this information on the internet for the general public. None of the named parties has sued me for defamation because they know the information is true (and the statute of limitations for defamation has already run out).
Tom,
Wow! That is an impressive website log (FraudontheCourt.net)!
I read through most of the line items. I won’t pretend to grasp all the complexities.
However, (correct me if I’m wrong on this), my impression is that the series of law firms were deliberately not acting in good faith. Also the inference that the law firms and courts themselves are part of ‘big club’, such being that they protect their own lawyers’ community.
This should serve as a warning to us all.

Texas AG opens probe into American Bar Association’s accreditation practices

[[An aside: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s weird eye…
When he was with a fellow group of kids messing around throwing berries at each other, a berry hit his eye just right and caused damage.]]
EXCERPT
…Earlier this year, Texas became the first state to cut ties with the ABA, meaning graduates no longer have to attend an ABA-accredited school if they want to practice law in the state.
The organization has also come under fire nationally, with President Donald Trump taking millions of dollars in federal funding away from the ABA….
Allstate is mentioned at FraudontheCourt
I need to update the following SubThread with recent courtroom depositions from Farmers Insurance executives. Allstate and Farmers insurance companies are big news in Oklahoma. Mainstream Media should be all over this, because the corruption is national — not just Oklahoma.

Absolutely I had to learn the Law to defend myself from these “barristers” who swear an oath to the British Crown. A Google/AI search keeps mum on that, but from the work of Dean Henderso,n on who pulls the international strings, it is the City of London bankers, and they have for centuries.
1
As Barry mentioned, the “public defenders” are the worst. I had a young good looking guy with a beard. My African American friend, who taught me the law, (Rest In Peace Eugene Hart) said, “Dee, he is not your friend”.
I didnt have the life experience of Eugene, and should have taken his advice. This cool young dude got me a “great deal” on a false DUI charge by a bad cop who later shot an unarmed suspect. To get my license reinstated I had to take a course on drinking and driving AND get a breathalyzer machine put on my car. The cost was in the 1000s.
AND I DONT DRINK! IM A VEGETARIAN TREE HUGGER.
I will spare you the hair raising story of being arrested by a psychopath on a lonely mountain road in New Hampshire. The system fully supported this creep, Sam Provensa. Last I knew he was trying to get into politics.
My son talked me into following the court’s requirements and paid the fees. When removed after a year of electronic harassment, the breathalyzer destroyed the computer of my beloved 2001 Prius and I had to junk it. Just another kick in the ass from the corporate state of New Hampshire.
I’m a skinny lady and cannot intimidate bullies like Provensa. But I have a brain as big or bigger than their bulky biceps. I used it to learn to write and defend lawsuits. I now have four filed in three different jurisdictions, getting the attention of troublemakers who thought I was of little consequence.
The travails set in my path by my Creator have been for molding and perfecting, the tumbling of the coal shaking off the dust, revealing the diamond of my soul. Thank you God!
This interview raises the question: “Who will protect you from those whom you thought were your protectors, when you discover you were ill-informed, deceived so you could be enslaved?” LOOK IN THE MIRROR! Start to question, research, think for yourself – and it’s down the rabbit hole – escape is possible.
After decades of pushing the us/them, good/bad paradigm seems it would be difficult to receive a fair deal with anyone of ‘authority.’ Cops who weren’t even alive when 9/11 was pulled off and they grew up with the lies; “law and order” TV shows that have cops in the pretend name of “justice” pulling off white lies to outright fraud. Judges with political and social agendas and members of secret societies and/or with gender or race bias’.
It’s created that Panopticon that James talked about a decade ago.

when the church governs, he is ruled by superstition;

IT STARTS WITH YOU AND ME

What a character! They should make a comic book about him. A real superhero; after all, he has come in first in several major categories, and his dog came in 13th to boot!
Still, he is charismatic and eloquent enough. His experience seems relevant and impressive. True, the current system victimizes and harms more than it helps.
But I object to is his blanket whitewashing of drug use. He (and James) intimates that it is harmless, and he calls it medicine. Well, this is just me, but medicine is something that I am also very skeptical about, including legally prescribed ones.
There are better ways to manage the control of your mind and emotions. Weakness is already rewarded enough, we need not encourage more misleading dead ends. Severe government punishment is not a good answer, but solid awareness of the whole issue by the people is key.
So, while it sounds like he has helped a lot of people, and some were somewhat innocent, I’d think twice about lauding and embracing drug use. We must be objective about all the attendant side-effects, aside from government hazards.
Whether drugs are good or bad for someone should be decided by the person who is using the drug and/or the physician attending to them. It’s not the government’s place to dictate which drugs are “good drugs” and which drugs are “bad drugs.”
Every drug has its appropriate application for healing. Every drug can also be abused. The government shouldn’t be involved in any of these personal decisions.
(neither should insurance companies, but that’s a different discussion for a different day)
Yes.
But still…
Is an age of consent appropriate? Do the parents have a say, or only the kids? What about trans genital mutilation? What about other people, not gov, sneaking drugs into your system? Your kids?
Anyway, I suspect that you didn’t read my comment closely. You may be fighting a straw man, in replying to me the way that you did. I know plenty about drugs, first hand. And also kids.
So there is a discussion to be had about ‘bad drugs’ and ‘good drugs.’ But that is too much of a digression. I think that we agree that the current system, tied to raids, imprisonment, and fines is absurd. I am not dictating anything to you, other than my own ideas, based on quite a bit of experience. Nor do I want anyone else forcibly dictating on this.
But I do think that it is foolishly sacrilegious to think you can improve on the nervous system and perceptions that we are endowed with naturally. I see the hubris of that not unrelated to the hubris of vaccinating the sky with chemtrails.
I expect pushback from people who rationalize their own drug use, just as I get fierce resistance from those who took the COVID shots, when they find that I don’t follow the party line. These issues of personal physical habits, such as eating, smoking, drinking, etc. are hard to see objectively. I am just telling you what I see. I don’t advocate for anything Draconian.
PS People make bank on our weaknesses and mistakes.
~~ Drug Conversation ~~
I am glad that there is discussion about drugs. More awareness about the topic benefits everyone.
Like Bird points out, government interference into controlling our bodies has no place.
I know that Hank is extremely well versed on the drug arena…more than I. Hank brings up some very important considerations, such as kids.
— KIDS —
I want to dispel a myth about “It’s a plant.” What many people believe to be natural plant substances are actually synthetically made chemicals.
Example: Aspirin is a designed synthetic chemical based upon the success of the White Willow Bark herb.
Many of the THC products and so-called Kratom products are purely synthetic chemicals.
I know something about chemistry and have receipts…
— Delta-8 and 7-OH —
https://corbettreport.com/nwnw640/#comment-189219
In the past 18 months, more than 58 people have died in Oklahoma on the fake Kratom chemical 7-OH. Those are only the deaths. The number of neurologically and physically damaged people has got to be much larger. In many states, convenience stores carry a vast selection of 7-OH products which anyone can buy just like a soda.
Read Delta-8 | THC at the link above. Besides gelatin and sugar, those ‘therapy’ gummies may contain a toxic-solvent-lab-made artificial THC chemical.
Kids have died from THC gummies.
Kids. These are developing brains…and any mind-altering substance is certain to affect the brain’s natural growth process.
The News stories go on and on…

Bird
Every person I knew who smoked a ton of weed was kinda a scumbag, every druggie I have know was a full scumbag…..I don’t know if it’s just that people who are like that over indulge or if the substances make them like that but these folks caused problems for others.
Personally I’m all for letting druggies dose themselves up until they die, as long as they don’t require state medical help or do excessive crime or hang out where normal people are. The problem is that we try to have it both ways- emergency services and needle exchange and shelters for addicts are all social evils
I’ve had similar experiences with people who have used drugs indiscriminately, and have destroyed themselves and others in the process.
I’ve learned that lesson, a long time ago, to steer clear of substance abusers and dealers who exploit other people’s weaknesses for personal gain.
One should keep in mind that a lot of these street drugs that have been introduced to the public, at large, are a government plot. A tactic to reduce the population and control people through addiction. We wouldn’t have a fentanyl problem if the governments of the world weren’t involved in distribution through various organized crime outfits, like the cartels. Government policy has created most of these problems.
Aside from that point, it is in the public’s best interest (at the community level) to manage public drug use on the streets. Community should organize to make clean needles available, to treat infections that can develop from poor hygiene, and yes – even easy access to Narcan to revive people who might overdose in the sidewalk.
You might ask “why?”
Unmanaged public drug use creates hazards to people in the community just trying to go about their lives. People just going about their day, working, running errands, bringing their children to public parks, are in more danger from crime and disease when drug use isn’t managed by the community.
Bird
Not really- if they die of infection then the issue will be self correcting…..better to “rip the band aid off” and let them OD without wasting money.
Reviving an OD drug user that’s going to just keep doing been same thing is both a waste of time and a social evil because it draws out the social issues they cause.
Farming drug users and keeping them
alive is the real problem- better to let nature take its course when it will. Normal people won’t have to worry about such folks when there is no money in the government keeping them going as long as possible- nature and jail if they do crimes will fix the issue well enough
@Hanky
>>But I object to is his blanket whitewashing of drug use.>>
IMO life is about learned perspective and behavior. So it is your right to have opinions on what YOU want in your life Hanky. However I would offer you do some research on just why there are stiff laws and public opinion/pressure on what others can do with their own bodies. Why are psychoactive herbs that allow one to explore the deeper parts of one’s reality bad and alcohol that promotes infantile behavior (fights, anger, stupid behavior.) good??
How many die each year from driving stoned?
When Rockefeller took over medicine in about 1913 he immediately closed all the homeopathic hospitals and clinics and forced no more teaching of alternative methods of healing in his owned medical colleges to favor the use of toxic ‘medicine’ from his oil industry.
Also, since most people under 50 have obtained most of their perspective or “life truths” from the controller’s entertainment business, all those TV shows and movies about drugs being ‘bad’ are just mind control to foster Egregore (collective group mind think)
Actors play being drunk is laughed at or accepted when alcohol use leads to thousands of deaths every year but virtually no life is lost using psychoactive herbs like pot or hash or even LSD.
The laugh is the worst thing usually from over use of pot is over eating ice cream :-0
The controllers always push the sh*t “drugs” like meth, heroin, Fentanol, etc. as representative of what “drug use” (using mind altering substances) is all about. Very misleading.
As you know, I cured myself from COPD and the horrible, toxic, damaging hospital treatment, through the use of supplements, alternative ‘medicine,’ pot, exercise, and playing ceremonial instruments.
All of which are made fun of in that so-called world of “entertainment.”
For Hanky…
Example hey…
“Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is out at CBS Sports after his wild DUI arrest in Wisconsin.
“How many drinks have you had?” the officer asked Tony Romo.
“Zero,” Romo replied, adding that he played in a golf tournament.
The officer repeatedly demanded that Tony Romo step out of his vehicle.

~~ 2026 Marijuana ~~
Weed in 2026 smells like skunk. It did not smell like skunk in 1972. If a person opens a bud jar in 2026, suddenly the entire area smells like skunk.
Buds from the 2026 marijuana hemp plants are a whole different breed than in 1972.
Over the decades, selective and cross breeding of hemp have changed its original nature to have a stronger amount of THC.
I question that.
— Broccoli —
What if over several decades the broccoli plant was selectively bred to contain a super-concentrated level of Indole-3-carbinol (I3C)…and perhaps a banana flavor.
Indole-3-carbinol (I3C) can help the liver break down estrogen into healthier, more balanced metabolites.
Stomach acid turns I3C into other active substances, most notably 3,3′-diindolylmethane (DIM). DIM can help balance hormone levels in both men and women.
My point here is that the newer super-concentrated hybrid of a banana-flavored, high DIM level broccoli plant seems like a perversion of nature and a perversion of the food supply.
I would try Banana Broccoli at least one time….but since they breed softer more sugary fruits that are worse for people anyway they probably do the same with drugs.
>>Weed in 2026 smells like skunk. It did not smell like skunk in 1972>>
Nonsense. We named pot for the area and type (Sativa and Indica) There was Alcapulco gold, Panama Red, etc. Hash is made from the short plant Indica where Afgan women would wear a leather apron and walk through the plants and then scrape off the resin and then add various things from urine or blood or whatever to make the patties.
I smoked “skunk” weed at the Dead’s house in the Oakland hills that was kept in mason jars in a wine rack. Their Hawaiian stash was fabulous, one or two hits for ‘a long strange trip it was.’ 😎
The taller Sativa as people see in the movies and is hung upside down produces large buds and look like large hot dog sized flowers after trimming.
Before non smokers knew about the various blends using the word “skunk” was a code for Indica, the more powerful. Sativa was/is more about fun stuff, skunk is the go-within herb.
You are paraphrasing some TV cop show script or conversation or something and spreading fear porn :-/
ejdoyle,
That’s not how I remember it in 1972 when we could get a kilo in Austin for $110.
I’m talking about fresh bud – not smoked pot.
Every time I opened a fresh lid there was NOT a reeking skunk smell which filled the room in 1972.
If there had existed such a strong, permeating odor in 1972, anyone in the vicinity would had been able to identify it.
For comparison: In 2019 when I was with co-workers outside on the lot, a fella sitting inside a container-pod only opened his jar of bud. 40-60 feet away we could smell the skunk. It lingered in the still air outside.
I currently have a used dryer. I can still smell the skunk odor from the previous owner.
I have not smoked pot since 1976.
There is no doubt that THC hemp does alter mental mechanisms & behaviors, short-term…then gradually long-term.
I personally feel it can have short-term and long-term adverse effects. I submit that a person becomes less able to direct their own attention.
Marijuana Weed Pot – Anecdotes of a Pothead

Homie,
I do miss that wild French Gal.
I must say , from the point of view of a fly on the wall observing the American Potheads perspectives, they completely miss the point… ( POSIWID )
1. The therapeutic window rule.. How much is needed of a substance to cease being beneficial to the outcome. Limits, we all hate limits and many have tried to test that to their sad demise. One must ask what precipitated the need for even looking at substances. Escape, escape from the harsh reality of life. Dopamine, serotonin rush. Seems to be perceived as a reward . There are several ways to escape. Drugs, and pathways to those drugs that suspend reality. Escape from this plain of existence to the one we resided in just prior to our birth. Our bodies make the best drugs for doing that already, we don’t need external control drugs. Yes, controlled drugs; the ones that are impossible to control. sic The war on Drugs.
2. We Worship a reward . Creativity and art. Need I say more about narcissistic people. Constant in their desire to share a creation of theirs to ding the bell of dopamine. It is very selfish for they are incapable of empathy. Sharing their dopamine hit with others and when it doesn’t happen it’s never their fault that the art fails for it always digs their bell. Narco and Narci are great Bacon words prefixes.
3. Spiritual escape mechanisms. , TRANSCENDENCE Definition & Meaning – Merriam-Webster https://share.google/rqJpsnuEK3n4IzTdy
Escape to a time before our birth.
Transforming reality without external mechanisms, such as organic chemicals reactions. Going immaterial. That’s one way to flip the switch. It’s all there and has been exploited from time memorial. Much as has been exploited by the external world . The dopamine pedalers . The narcos. The East Indian Trading Company. The Vatican, the Jews, the Muslim. They always are there to offer you an escape from a prison of their own making. sic Learned helplessness Corbett has mentioned.
>>That’s not how I remember it in 1972 when we could get a kilo in Austin for $110.

So was I never said smoked. Your source was most likely what we joked about..Mexican Green. 2nd or 3rd grade street smoke. 🙂
Being in the music biz, and being a musician, etc. we always smoked 2 hit weed.
Guess you didn’t really read my reply to you. Often I knew the grower or was the grower myself or got it from great sources, not street smoke. Just as I still do.
You keep trying to pass yourself off as the shot caller on everything. You’re not.
some of my friends in the 90s were into weed and they specifically talked about the new stuff smelling strongly. I personally never liked it so I can not speak personally but they spoke like it was a newer thing.
maybe there are different types, like tobacco, that were popular locally? I was always under the impression the new stuff was GMO but have no idea really
Hankey
”….Severe government punishment is not a good answer,….”
Freedom to do drugs is fine IF it includes harsh sentences for doing crime and such folks don’t get stuff like needle exchange and emergency medical treatment. People want to be free AND have services and that’s always a bad deal on both sides
A fantastic, encouraging, inspiring and example-setting man, thank you.
I agree, Eliz. James – you and Barry have most definitely found your bliss. It’s obvious Barry is plugged into Source, doing the dharma, following The Path. You both are an inspiration to us all. I wonder how many in the billy club brigade have been positively influenced by Barry? A growing number I would like to believe.
We all are addicted to adrenaline and dopamine for starters. ALL drugs are dangerous slippery slopes, even the natural self- generated ones. Romanticizing and idealizing any drugs, again even adrenaline, causes a lack of objectivity in a proverbial landmine.
I repeat you will pay for your hubris in not recognizing the fantastic gifts that have been bestowed on us, at birth and before.
PS Coffee is a drug
PPS Santa Claus is lying to your children
Hanky
That was well said. Our existence is blitzed by materialism. Like oil and water . There are , way too many people without a spiritual awareness. Oil and water. We try to mix them and always wind up with a mess, physically and spiritually. One can see but never come to know any esoteric suppositions. Faith is not material, love can hurt and as you say, ” I repeat you will pay for your hubris in not recognizing the fantastic gifts that have been bestowed on us, at birth and before.”
Seems a white hot religious experience should never be denied is the point of your warning ⚠️ Deny at your own risk you say ; with authority… In my humble opinion from empirical observation of this overly satanic world , that, if I understand you, is a fair warning. Since every human on this planet is unique with each one understanding of their God or gods( as Alan Watt had said every show” ) is like spontaneous order, without any one having to explain the moral calculus shared by all that come to know their spiritual selfs. Independent , separate but whole.
It’s obvious that water is covering 7/8ths of the earth but the 1/8th oil is trying to kill God esotericly.
The eternal battle of Heaven and earth.
Coffee is a drug
Santa is a lie
Two seemingly innocent things that are constantly trying to erode our morals, our understanding of birth and the time before our birth. Damn their Innocence. We know better, we are born innocent and are soon corrupted by corrupt people. Not Satan, not God but the propaganda people, devoid of morals and ethics, eventually killing their spirituality. God has been killed in their poor minds. Look at the world or just in your own being. What have we done? Taken no action to rectifying the lies? Well. If you, the rhetorical you; supports someone like Corbett you are doing something; noble?. I hope it’s not all a lie.
One last thing , are humans scalar and the rest of the world linear ?
Gbw
”….,We know better, we are born innocent and are soon corrupted by corrupt people…..”
People are naturally selfish….spend some time with kids if you don’t believe me. We (normally) LEARN to moderate selfishness for the bigger pay off of being able to live in society (which is for the selfish goal of staying alive….you could argue)
Being selfish pays off- if there is only food for one and I let you eat it I would die. If there is only one mate and I let you breed I die out of the gene pool…..we live in a world of limited resources (even in the crazy wealth of the industrial age) and thus must compete to get resources (both as individuals and as groups)
The idea that we are naturally good and kind and fair is the invention of some truly horrible people, aside from being BS. To be good is a learned skill
Duck,
GBW
1) Not a materialist, either personally or philosophically
2) I responded to the false statement that people are “born good” and said that being good is a learned skill and NOT the default human nature
3) It’s funny that you psychologize differing opinions- I was just the other day watching Academic Agent on YT talking about that habit.
4) It is very easy for people who have never actually experienced reality, where they actually do have to face zero sum outcomes, to pretend that they are somehow better or more evolved. They can hold such luxury beliefs because their material existence is pretty secure because of systems and events that they know nothing about…..YOU own and want stuff that’s material , even if you beg for rice every day
5) My point is actually rather hopeful and NON satanic in that it is possible TO CHOOSE to be good. It is a good deal MORE satanic to think the default nature is wonderful and perfect, since it’s quite prideful , almost narcissistic, and excuses their own personal failings as being the fault of “bad people” rather then their own fallen human nature.
6) Zionists are quite bad, but I don’t know why you think they created greed and cruelty or any other bad behavior …..people were doing all that stuff from the Stone Age. Do you think the world would suddenly be peaceful if all the Zionist (Jews) turned into smoke???? Not even I think that
8) did you get an AI to pose that last question or what?
Duck,
Nice lay out and somewhat clearer train of thought. Are you using an Ai to write ? Your style has changed dramatically.
Forget all the rest , too hard or impossible to prove any validity with either , non offered. It is more of diametrically opposite feelings. Try to be creative with the abstraction of the question I asked. , it reveals so much about thought. I doubted anyone would answer. Please give it a try. There is no wrong answer. Creativity outshines intelligence and the more abstract the better.
” are humans scalar and the rest of the world linear? What do you think Duck?I”ll answer your questions because they are so improved.
1.yes you are, greed is always in company with hording.
2.not a false statement.
3.hiding something?
4.you are never hopeful, always a downer, argumentive always.
5. Killing, hording and Uber prepared for Armageddon shows a paranoid disposition.
6. The cabala, the garbage of the Jews works both against you and with you. You are becoming what you hate.
1) Unless you are wearing one set of clothes and live on alms YOU are “hoarding” ….. do you give half your income to feed the poor or something like that??? Lol, the device you write comments here with probably has rare earths and such extracted at the cost of 3rd world lives and health.
2) Then providing some evidence would be useful- I can provide evidence that humans have been much the same since the Stone Age as they are now. What do you have?
3) Are you doing the Alinsky playbook there or are you just a woman?
4) Does not address point in any way- see 3
5) Does having a savings account make someone paranoid? Is it delusional to think one day your car might fail so you should get towing coverage?
6) You are projecting your own mental sickness outward, since you want to play psychology. You fear yourself because you can’t look and accept your own nature, and thus can not change it for the better
This devolution of discourse into insults is hell. More on that later…
hanky,
Abstract art has some commonality here. Devolution of the social contract manifests itself in hideous forms. Weird films, sculptures, and performances appear and it makes a person wonder where it comes from. Deliberate or reactionary. The unstable mind of chaos or a mind deliberately ordered? The scalar mind or the linear number line mind? Unique as Duck is , like some masterpiece of evolution I only see one instance of insult.
I didn’t much like the pejorative use of ” just a woman ” Big red flag.
I would think it insulting to woman.
HAnkey
opps I replyed to the wrong person….lol
what insults do you mean?
~~ Jury Nullification ~~
July 2, 2010 – By Michael May – Texas Observer
Barry Cooper Surrenders to Texas Rangers
https://www.texasobserver.org/barry-cooper-surrenders-to-texas-rangers/
[This is a quick read with the backstory.]
EXCERPTS
…Cooper had the words “Jury Nullification” written on his forehead in black marker, and a t-shirt that read “Constitutional Obedience.”..
[Reporters gathered at Texas Capitol]
…Cooper stood and explained why he was going to jail. And then explained the term on his forehead:
“We are calling on Americans to use a powerful weapon called jury nullification. A jury member can vote not guilty—even if there is evidence the defendant committed the crime— if one disagrees with the law. If it bothers your conscience, as a jury member you have more authority than judge . . .The jury is only true check on government power. So citizens of America, get on a jury and, for all non-violent drug crimes, vote not guilty.”
After that, his lawyer approached one of the State Troopers guarding the capital, and they handcuffed Cooper and took him to jail. He should be released in bail later today. If convicted, Cooper faces up to six months in jail.
A fine point, that may not always apply here…The Lindsay Clancy trial was an example of ‘jury nullification’ that was bad. Why? Because I agreed with the judge, not the jury. If we disagree with the judge, then we say jury nullification is good. There is no shortcut or magic bullet to save us from stupidity and corruption.
Hank,
I get your point and totally agree “may not always apply.” In fact, that is probably a good rule of thumb across the boards on many things.
The Lindsay Clancy trial was weird, because Massachusetts’s law is weird.
The question becomes ‘how do you prove someone is not insane?’.
EXCEPTS
…(In MA) it is up to the prosecution to prove the suspect was not insane…
…In MA if Clancy is found not guilty by reason of insanity she is remanded to a mental health facility, but she has the chance to be released as early as six months into her incarceration…
…
…There were 12 jurors (9 women and 3 men).
11 jurors said that Lindsay Clancy was “not guilty by reason of insanity”. One guy was convinced that she knew what she was doing. The other 11 tried to convince him that there was “a reasonable doubt” that Lindsay suffered from some form of insanity.
He said, “But I’m still not going to say that she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.”

For what it’s worth, here is an example of how I tried to nullify indictments while serving on a jury…

I watched the film Never Get Busted (2025)

I gotta say that the visuals and editing were superb! The story was well designed. The film moved quickly for the first 90 minutes blending countless clips and images mixed with dialogue. It captures the viewer’s attention to follow what comes next in the story. I wouldn’t label it as a documentary…it was a film. The famous Joe Bob Briggs would probably say, “Check it out!”
I recognized clips of my old stomping ground in the old section of east Plano, Texas which was down the street from my house.

You see Candi and Barry together and they eventually walk up to the Plano Bazaar front doors.
The Plano Bazaar was a multi-vendor indoor marketplace. It offered all kinds of things and food. Many vendors catered to the Hispanic community because there were a lot of illegals living in the area. Plano Bazaar is now closed but the address was 1409 Jupiter Road near E. 14th street. I had a house to the north just off Jupiter.

“I cried and cried about what I’d done in the drug war”.
The small bridge stretched across a bustling creek, and there as if on guard, immovable, imposing unavoidable, stood the extra extra large warrior, clad in his complex samurai armor. His long curved katana at the ready, as the little monk appeared from the break in the forest, and was headed for the bridge.
The samurai thought: “these monks think they know so much. I will challenge this one’s arrogance at the price of death”. The monk arrived at the little bridge and his trail was immediately blocked by the samurai. “Before I will allow you to cross,,,, explain to me the difference between heaven and hell.”.
The monk had been around the block a few times, and with the softest of gazes, replied back: “but why should I tell an asshole like you?”
The samurai was instantly awash with rage coursing through his blood, fury rippled through his strapping body as he swung the katana high above his head. Just before the moment where the unstoppable decapitation swing started, the monk reached out his open palms, looking him eye to eye and said “this is hell”
At that instant, the samurai froze with the sword above his head as he began flashing through all the faces of the 100’s he had unleashed his rage on, the scale of terror that his decapitations had caused, enormous grief and trauma. He froze. a single heavy tear rolled down his cheek. The monk still watching with gentle concern continued: “and this is heaven”
the monk quietly crossed the bridge and kept going.
Beautiful.
Good one!

Barry Cooper is amazing.
Where the hell does he source those fantastic shirts?

Wow!! What a great guest for the Corbett Report! And James looking just as dapper and tropical as Barry. 🙂
Hearing this story inspires me to continue to be like Barry’s mom, trying to redpill cops, even if they are chronologically older than five. If you get a guy who is good at doing the wrong thing, he can be just as good or better at doing the right thing, once his heart is screwed in correctly.
While traveling in Kenya I decided to visit an exiled Black Panther named Pete O’Neal, who was stitched up on charges by the Feds back in the 70s. He was in Arusha, Tanzania, just over the border. It took a bit of adventure to find him, but well worth it.
He and his wife Charlotte, following the Black Panther ethos, had made lemonade out of their dire situation and started an orphanage. As in India, Africans do not readily adopt other people’s children.
A beautiful young lady in her 30s, the O’Neal’s adopted daughter, answered the door. They put me up for a few days in their compound. Charlotte was away in the US raising funds for their work. The O’Neals are African American royalty, heroes like Terrance Yeakey and Abraham Bolden, never heard of by most.
I will put Pete in touch with Barry. It may be too late for him to see his mother before she is gone like the Jamaican guy he helped. Pete’s mom was elderly but still alive when I visited. Either way, that would be another HUGE cop/lawyer bust for Barry if he is successful.
And I will prove to Pete that the nosy redhaired lady was not sent to spy on him by the CIA as he suspected :).
Thank you James! Another home run for the Corbett Report.

I am very skeptical of anyone who uses modern day marijuana and thinks of it as the best thing that they have ever done and talks about how it fixes all their anxiety problems and helps them relax and enjoy their life. If a drug is needed to enjoy life, I wonder if that persons life has been out of balance with nature for a very long time. Like, did that person eat real, wholesome, nourishing food? Did they spend time in nature regularly? Did they practice meditative habits? Where their relationships loving? Did they pay attention to their sleep habits and balance them with natural circadian rhythms? If not, perhaps the drugs are masking symptom and not healing them? Is that any better than taking Paxil? Prozac?
The older versions of marijuanna were gentler and milder and had lower levels of THC. Even with the lower levels of THC, a certain amount of people who used it would inevitably experience psychosis. Now with the newer more potent strains of marijuana, I believe that about 6% of people who use it experience psychosis. That is a very high percentage of the population experiencing psychosis.
I live in an area where there are more alcohol stores and more marijuanna stores than any other sector of the economy, although I wonder if fast food stores could compete maybe. Certainly, if you compared processed food in general from all sources, it’s probably quite a bit more compared to the amount of alcohol and marijuana consumed but either way, that’s not a good thing. To me, this overall amount of commerce happening in our area does not look like a positive thing. Why do so many people need processed food, alcohol, and/or marijuanna to escape from their own personal reality to feel good or even just normal. To me, it is a sign of massive amount of people living out of balance from nature.
*the rest of my comment was “too long” so if anyone is interested in the rest of my banter, I’ll post part 2 as a reply.
*part 2
I don’t really think the war on drugs has had many positive benefits. But at the same time, there is something very real and dangerous about people taking substances into their body that alters the way that their minds operate and can lead to them being a danger to others, particularly women and children. This is completely ignored by many drug use advocates as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, and our society is suffering imensly as a result.
I just heard someone talking about how ‘abolition’ came about after women got the right to vote and it was because women are often the one at the end of the fist of a drunk man and they cannot defend themselves as well as another man would be able to. This is a biological fact.
And as I thought about that idea, I thought about how I had been noticing over the last few years that most of the people who favor this idea of anarchism (or voluntarism) seem to be men. I am sure there are women who advocate this as well but I’m guessing the majority of the people who want this type of freedom are going to be men. Which makes sense.
Corrupt police and laws are not good. Leaving people, especially women and children, vulnerable to drug induced psychotic people, also not good. We are friends with our local police chief and I’m glad he can respond to violent drug induced psychotics. And do we just wait for people to become psychotic and dangerous before anything is done? It’s usually too late to avoid violent crimes at that point.
The other thing that stood out about this interview was that his former wife died due to being murdered by his friend but we get no details. So sorry to hear this. RIP. But this tragic event seems like it could be very relevant to this topic, possibly? I am not inferring that I know what happened, but not many people are murdered so it seems like it could potentially be relevant to the whole picture.
Sourdoughgirl,
I was thoroughly absorbed by your rant. Thanks!
You brought up so many important points; one major crucial point:
“…being a danger to others, particularly women and children.
This is completely ignored by many drug use advocates as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, and our society is suffering immensely as a result.”
Also, I think you raise a pertinent perspective when you said,
“We are friends with our local police chief and I’m glad he can respond to violent drug induced psychotics.”
We fail ourselves when we stereotype any group as composed of all bad individuals.
There can be rotten eggs in any community of people.
Again, thanks for your voice.
…gotta go…your username made me hungry.
Thanks for your kind and thoughtful reply. Marijuana has been legal here for about 7 or 8 years. And the use has skyrocketed in the population. I think of all the children who have parents who use due to it now being legal and I wonder how many children have to suffer the consequences. How would we know? Maybe some statistical analysis will come out in 25 or 50 years.
I have had two close family members who went into psychosis due to prescription medication (one was high dose steroids to treat a bowel condition and the other was SSRIs for anxiety) and I can personally attest that it is very disruptive to family life and safety, particularly for the children involved. I have tried to warn other people of these dangers when it’s appropriate. The number of doctors advocating prescribing high dose steroids to cure people of pneumonia during “covid” was irresponsible since they were not talking about the risk of psychosis. And I know of at least one person that was treated with those high doses of steroids for covid and who experienced psychosis. Almost no one is ever warned, even thought the risk is well documented. Same with SSRIs and other mind altering prescriptions.
On the other hand, it’s always wild to me when people in the health and/or freedom movement acknowledge the dangers of prescription medication but kind of poopoo the dangers of things like marijuana and alcohol.
Hope you got your hands on some nice bread! Cheers
Great interview and it wasn’t anticipated. It was quite a shock to hear Barry’s revelations as in coming from a former enforcer in the drug war to one who has a clear conscience about what that has done. His revelation of the method kept me hanging on to some idea that he was still, in some part, hanging on to the method.
I kept waiting for a shallow aspect to be revealed yet it was not! It’s a drag that the first 22 minutes of the video were filled with technical video issues yet the words were present all the way through. I really appreciate the transition that Barry explains firsthand, especially when he shared the notion that he thought the system of justice would back him up for exposing corruption.
I look forward to sharing this conversation with people who I know are on the line. They are still holding onto the notion that the system of authoritative justice works. One of the aspects that was most revealing, as Barry shares, is that how people in the united states of america are the most detaind. Not that I think this revelation will turn the tables yet perhaps it will make people look beyond the appearence that the system of justice provides justice.
