August is here, so you know what that means: no one’s interested in news and information at the moment!
As a result, I’ll be doing the usual August slow-down on the website. I’ll still be posting to the site, but much less frequently than usual. As a result, I’m sure all the revved-up, clued-in, switched-on Corbett Report members will be eager to keep themselves informed and entertained in the August Open Thread.
So, what are you interested in this month?
The slow-motion unfolding of the Trump/Israeli-made disaster in the Middle East?
The continuing circus sideshow (distraction?) of the Fauci hearings?
The latest confirmation that tampering with the human genome is indeed a bad idea (whowouldathunkit)?
Or some other news story entirely?
Or maybe you’re interested in lazing on the beach with a good book or enjoying a bit of down time.
If you do find yourself jonesing for a “Just For Fun” link, here’s another uproariously hilarious, wildly inappopriate, definitely NSFW lipdub madlib from Day Job Orchestra making fun of everyone’s least favourite globalist mouthpieces, Hillary Clinton and Stephen Colbert!
And, just as a reminder, Corbett Report members can not only log in to the site to participate in the Open Thread below, they can also sign in to get the link for this Sunday’s (August 2nd) livestream of the Film, Literature and the New World Order podcast on Umberto Eco’s Foucault’s Pendulum.

folks might want to make sure they have some bottled water in case we get more attacks on the water supply. Good idea to have at least a Life Straw or other filter on hand and maybe a water barrel if you can get one
Thia latest attack was ALOT less serious then it could have been- locking the systems rather then adding toxic levels of water treatment chemicals.
Ask yourself how long a big city or a town in the hotter parts of the nation will last if water is cut off…..
https://abcnews.com/US/investigators-iran-connection-minnesota-water-system-hacks-us/story?id=135237777
That worries me. I’ll have to collect rainwater on my fire escape.
Eliz
Not to be the “actshuallly” guy (since you probably know it already) but please be mindful of how much weight you put on the fire escape….you could also just fill up a container from the tap now and store it. The thing about bucket collection is that if you put a bucket out you can only get as much rain as falls into it – you would do better with a tarp funneling it into the bucket because the bigger area would catch more.
Thank you.
Those mean baby-on-bayonets water-system-hacking Iranians…
— Trinidad, Texas water system —
Undoubtedly, Iranians hacked the water system of the small Texas town (900 population) of Trinidad which lies not far from Athens, Texas.
The water pipes spit out dark-brown muddy tap water. A teenage girl burned her skin repeatedly when she tried to shower the tap water off. When a brave women posted her concern about the tap water on social media, she was arrested by the Police Chief and put in jail. Then a protester was jailed.
Prior to the jailing of the woman, the Trinidad City Manager was fired because she expressed concerns that City monies were being kept in the personal checking accounts of officials. Several city employees were fired because they would not cover-up the muddy water issue.
No matter…City employees have been quitting regardless. Not long ago, there was no city official who could take your utility payment.

lol, yeah that was pretty bad too. OTOH one town with a corruption issue is nothing like as bad as the level of stupidity it takes to put water supply control systems online…..one town with bad water is not near as bad as a whole region being cut off abruptly.
How would it go if such a thing happened in Dallas? It’s kinda warm in Texas now and I wonder how many would be dead if the water was out there for a week
This was a pretty mild attack, the fact that you can go online right now and find unprotected systems on the open internet is kinda insane.
A level of stupidity so great that you can be certain it’s malice.
Any government that connects a utility to the Internet, in any way, is making a crystal clear pronouncement that it is traitorous; consciously working against the people it claims to serve.
I think that the “Iran-bogeyman Water Hacking” is part of the rumor mill in the media.
The alarmism sells views in their news feeds.
Perhaps the Dept of War or the CIA is helping to spread the rumor.
The FBI has not confirmed Iran as the culprit of the hacking, and Trump blames Minnesota incompetence.
“…Water providers in at least seven states have reported cyber intrusions since July 27, according to the FBI. Officials say some of the attacks disrupted normal operations.
The hackers are targeting internet-connected Rockwell Automation industrial control devices. Once inside the systems, they have changed IP addresses and passwords, locking operators out of equipment used to monitor and control water systems.
In some cases, the FBI says the attacks caused drops in water pressure and flooding.
In Minnesota, more than 30 community water systems were affected during a single weekend. Officials said there is no indication that drinking water was contaminated. Preliminary findings suggest Iran may be behind the attacks, though President Donald Trump has instead blamed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
The FBI and EPA say they are working with affected utilities and urging water systems to disconnect vulnerable devices from the public internet.”

https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-fbi-cisa-nsa-issue-joint-cybersecurity-advisory-water-system-regarding-iranian
“In MITRE ATT&CK for ICS those consequences include denial or loss of view, denial or loss of control, and manipulation of view or control. A physical process may continue running even when operators can no longer see it, influence it, or trust what their screens are telling them.”
“Those distinctions matter,” Thomas added. “A denial of view or control can be temporary. A sustained loss may require hands-on intervention or manual operation. Manipulation can be even more dangerous because the process may be in a different state than what is being reported to the operator.”

“…The alarmism sells views in their news feeds….”
That is certainly true- but it’s not really as important WHO does a thing as HOW it affects you.
Hence the heads up about water storage which everyone should have done years ago anyway
If the Chinese or the deep state or Iranians or Israel mess up the water supply the folks without water will still be in trouble if they have not gotten squared away on water…..however we may feel about it 99% of people depend on the infrastructure working for their daily lives to continue.
When stuff stops working the people who die from heat stroke or lack of meds or water will be just as dead if it’s a false flag or a real attack. It’s also not like everyone who hates the deep state loves us either- I doubt the Chinese or Iranians or Russians would give much of a fk if a major US city turns into a charnel house- we sure don’t give much of a fk if their cities do.
A 2019 report from the American Water Works Association – Prepared by Judith H. Germano
— Cybersecurity Risk & Responsibility in the Water Sector —

EXCERPT
…City of Atlanta ransomware attack.
The City of Atlanta was crippled by a ransomware attack in March 2018, which disrupted city utilities, courts and other operations.
For roughly a week, employees with the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management were unable to turn on their work computers or gain wireless internet access, and two weeks after the attack Atlanta completely took down its water department website “for server maintenance and updates until further notice.”
It has taken Atlanta months, and estimated costs of up to $5 million in recovery efforts, to address the attack….
In the Water Works 20 page report, it cites other examples of being hacked.
Doesn’t the fact that it was Minnesota that was affected seem curious to you? Make you wonder if it may have been a false flag of some sort. Minnesota, with all those Somalis/Muslims. Seems like the state Israel would choose if they were to carry out something like this. I dunno. Maybe it really was Iran. You can’t trust what our military/intelligence agencies say about “attacks.” If section 219 of the current NDAA gets passed, then forget about it. EVERYTHING will be lies/propaganda, even worse than it is now.
Banimal
“…Doesn’t the fact that it was Minnesota that was affected seem curious to you? Make you wonder if it may have been a false flag of some sort….”
Not particularly TBH- it sure could be a false flag but (as S2 points out) they don’t make as much fuss about it as they could which could mean “someone “ actually attacked them. As to the identity of that “someone” I don’t know.
TBH it could literally be a lone psycho 12 yr old kid with good computer skills for all I know, the point everyone should take away is HAVE WATER BACK UP and generally try not to depend on the system for stuff that keeps you alive.
If they ever do a serious war footing level false flag they won’t care about who or where they kill. The US has plenty of places tha are kinda a drag on the system and eliminating a bunch of Florida boomers or welfare people would be my choice if I was an evil elite.
I have a Big Berkey tucked away in my shed for just such an occasion

Does anyone have a good take on our true history that is not connected to religious mythology but more pragmatic things like evidence?
The Internet, if one is discerning on their research, is offering some very fantastic evidence, not speculation, about the recent ‘reset’ in the 1800’s where incredible structures of the same design are found world wide at a time 50-60 years or more before power tools or internal combustion inventions like trucks for hauling supplies.
There is evidence of a plethora of “insane asylums” world wide that incarcerated people for what we would now call ‘thought crimes,’ questioning reality, etc. Some of the asylums could house thousands. So-called churches were in fact buildings for healing with sound (organs, bells) color (stain glass windows) and obtaining the same free frequencies that Tesla worked with from their spires.
It we continue, IMO, to constantly try to be the smartest con in jail talking about the this and that of the controllers agendas, wars, inventions, etc. and not branch out to cooperative efforts at stopping the madness, we will pay a heavy price.
TARTARIA (song)

Click on my song link. The thumb nail will give you an idea. Then click on any of the links I put in the description.
The marvel of it all is the buildings from the court house in Minnyapples to buildings in Australia all have marble from thousands of miles away, built during a time of no transportation companies, etc.
The “My Lunch Break” link has a video on the asylums up today.

Thanks, been watching him for years along with My Lunch Break, Tartaria Vault, Jared Booster, The Archivist, etc.
My studies over the decades has taught me to be cautious about where I harvest information and place my energy, to not become a ‘groupie’ of sorts. This Mudflood/Tartaria/Reset thing is so profound with evidence that I am reaching out to see if there is something I am missing just like those truths.
Jesus reminded us: Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God. It seems that millions of my fellow Christians have ignored this.
In the soon to be published Un-Bible we see this:.

Blessed are the warmakers, for they are the true sons of the Almighty STATE.

There is nothing like bringing home the bacon.
I have been using the “purpose of a system is what it does” observation that James discussed on a recent show to cut through to what something is about. For instance, when I heard that Fauci refused to answer any question at the us senate committee hearing on July 29, I wanted to see what was being asked. While watching it on C-Span, I realized the purpose of holding that was to impress american republican and independent voters, not to get any answers from Fauci, or even to do anything to Fauci. Those republican senators were educating and firing up their base support. I also have been using POSIWID on analyzing myself and the state of my life. Either accepting myself as I am or making changes to get the outcome I want.
Eliz, That is kind of cool on the ways that you apply POSIWID. I bet James Corbett will like reading your comment too, because he always likes seeing how people apply solutions.
In case there is a reader who is not familiar with POSIWID…
Episode 499 – The Purpose Of a System Is What It Does
https://corbettreport.com/the-purpose-of-a-system-is-what-it-does/
I find that also goes hand in hand with “If a service is free, you’re the product”.
I recently realized google stole my credit card information through an autofill form on the chrome browser. I am now unable to remove that information from my account without adding a phone number and 2FA.
Why does Snapchat upload free funny faces? So that you keep updating a full scan of your/your children’s face.
Pokemon Go? Scanning the world to get a map to sell.
Netflix House? The visitor terms require guests and their minor children to grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to use their name, image, likeness, and voice for promotional or AI-driven content without compensation.
POSIWID our food system is designed to get people as sick as possible for the medical industry, the medical industry is designed to extract as much wealth as possible before death, the inflationary tactics of the federal reserve ensure the slaves keep working harder but actually fall behind, the education system to funnel people into that slavery, and the purpose of politics is of course to grant the slaves the illusion of choice. The purpose of the internet would be to collect information on everybody and allow us to scream into the void while refusing to defy the system in any meaningful way.
To get away from all the madness, I’ve been watching interesting videos from ‘Bros of Decay’ which is a guy who explores abandoned castles/chateaux in France, Italy, and elsewhere.
Most of these places still have a bunch of their previous owners’ artifacts still therein, and it’s interesting to see how they lived centuries ago.
Seeing how these once majestic/lavish homes once were and how nature is reclaiming them back (by decay) really puts things in perspective. In other words, the material aspects of life – you can’t take it with you; and your iteration on this Earth is perhaps better spent on relationships and the ones you love rather than greedily pursuing the almighty God of Money.
And to the keen observer, you can even see the spirits of the previous dwellers manifest themselves as orbs like in this episode:
– We Found a Secret Room in This 13th-Century Abandoned Castle (you can spot it around the 27:27 to 27:29 mark go from left to right and downwards before dissapearing).
See it?
Fascinating.
Our souls are eternal and live on after our physical death folks, no matter how much the Powers-That-Ought-Not-Be try to hide it from us.
Those of us who dislike surveillance might want to support these guys who allegedly stole Flock cameras.
So, the SCREEN act is going to the senate, and apparently a Texas judge ordered Discord to perform the UK required “age verification” in the US.
I loved the take on why certain books came in peoples live. And I stumbled on a book about a philosophy that we live in abundance and are simply don’t see the chains that hold us down. The writer did his best to explain all of it by reflecting on the issues and the mechanics that are at work.
Although you , or I , agree on the content, the cause and effect , or for that matter the offered solution , it’s a difficult story to tell. Most people will get a case of cognitive dissonance.
Well exactly that got me thinking , how to get the story out without that …
I made a children’s book suitable for 8-11 year olds, based on the Abundomy philosophy and the storyline of the adult book Abundomy 2.0

Everyone seems to talking and warning about the incoming digital dystopia – facial recognition, programmable money, digital ID, surveillance cameras, social credit control, etc..
What few people seem to be talking about is the actual capability of the digital medium to implement any of these dystopian goals. There are many observable reasons to believe it is not up to scratch and never will be – short of implanting digital chips in everyone’s body – a step to far, even for most ‘normies’.
What almost no one is discussing is the absolute dispensability of everything digital. To those who are old enough to remember, our mental health and social life as well as general intelligence was much better before the digital revolution. Ditto, consumer products and the larger functioning public system.
The belief that digital technology is essential and we couldn’t function without our smartphones, or whatever, is little short of brainwashing.
The reason, I suspect, that few are willing to discuss the actual shortfalls and negative effects of digital technology is that they rely on digital technology to get their message out. It’s a classic case of ‘don’t bite the hand that feeds you’ syndrome.
Can one use digital technology to undermine the use of digital technology and dispel the myth of its omnipotence? That is the question.
arn’t you finding that all out right here and now ?
but I understand it can be blamed for a lot and on the other hand you are not screaming on a mountain top – or the cows give sour milk because of this new invention that was a railroad.
Just be wise how and what you let it into your live, embrace the positive and use that , stay away from the negative that you can clearly see better as most.

Plenty of people really can not exist without their device- they can not take the pain of “loosing out”.
Just like any other addict they can only change when they feel like they want to
The reality of the dystopia that can be achieved will always be different from the perfect dystopia that is feared. I remember being extremely worried about the perfect copyright dystopia predicted by Lawrence Lessig. The reality turned out to be much messier and more dysfunctional. I think 1984 is much more accurate than Brave New World because in Huxley imagines that all the technology is really going to work rather than just mess things up.

Listeners of this podcast may have grown tired of hearing me state that today’s LLM technology is inherently hostile to guardrails — they don’t work. I’m a broken record on the topic, but all of the evidence we’ve seen continuously confirms my pessimism about the success of the guardrail approach to commercial consumer AI management.
I use the phrase “commercial consumer AI management” because ChatGPT, Claude and others must somehow be prevented from providing information that could be used to harm its user or help its user to harm others. For example, we can’t have commercial for-profit U.S.-based AI supplying its users with information about biological weapons. At the same time, we’ve seen that some AI users, such as cyber defenders, must have access to cyber-competent AI that could also be used to attack rather than defend. Most users need not and should not have such access.
So, will the future be a licensing regime where access to “above generic” AI capabilities are licensed to those who will apply more dangerous knowledge properly? Who knows. Maybe. That’s for politicians and government policy wonks to hash out and debate. But regardless of what’s decided, the technocrats must first provide the policy makers with capability. And it appears that the AI industry is figuring out how to offer this.

I’ve looked at this. The problem is that most evidence supporting the document have been suppressed; however, a plethora of submissions denigrating it. That said, one of the most informative talks about our current system is by Eustace Mullins. I’m sure you must know him. Here is a talk he gave at Salmon Arm, British Columbia in 2000 – https://archive.org/details/eustace-mullins-secrets-of-the-federal-reserve-full
It’s almost 2 hours long so I suggest downloading it because I doubt it will be available much longer.
Subjects: (up to the 55 minute mark) Ezra Pound as prisoner and teacher, Federal Reserve, Lincoln assassination, Kennedy assassination, Prudhomme, Jefferson, surveillance, Alger Hiss, Rothschild, loss of sovereignty, income tax as means of control, subsistence wage, difference between capitalism and communism, central bank of New York, neo-conservatives, Reagan, Jeckyll Island 1910, Hanover dynasty, Federal Reserve Act 1913, Alexander Hamilton, Jefferson, War of 1812, Bank of England, Panic of 1837, new class of millionaires, interest on debt, propaganda to instill moral obligation to pay debt, God’s job to create something out of nothing, cabal, money = access, HL Hunt, term “Washington Heart Attack”, consortium of central banks, origin of NAZI party (National Socialists/Zionist coalition 1923), Orthodox Jews and Reform Jews conflict in work camps, Germany the most tolerant county of Jews, holocaust, atomic bomb on Japanese civilians, 1945 hundreds of German officers killed to prevent the knowledge that subsequent to the end of the war the National Socialists were gone and all that remained were Zionists, creation of the state of Israel… Those are the subjects covered up to the 55 minute mark.

I am not attacking your POV…”but” ….
While I fully believe that Jews as a group are hostile and conspiratorial and behind a lot negative things in the world I tend to lean on Dr EM Jonesthree volume work “Jewish Revolutionary Spirit” which has masses of cited and well documented history (much quoted from works by Jewish historians)
While the Protocols were certainly predictive of what actually happened it seems unwise to lean on a work that has any leeway to be debunked…..better to lean on stuff that can’t be attacked because of its dodgy provenance. Again- sure the protocols predicted many things that DID shake out as written but it would be kinda weird if an actual group of Jews wrote their super villain plot down. More probably someone who knew what they do wrote it.
”….The problem is that most evidence supporting the document have been suppressed; however, a plethora of submissions denigrating it. That….”
Then don’t you think it’s better to lean on easily proven history (like EM Jones) or even Evolutionary Psychology stuff like Kevin Macdonald? THEIR Work is much harder to attack, and there is no way ti
accuse them of fictionalizing.
The does not have to be a secret cable of Jews for Jews to have a Talmudic culture that breeds hostility and predatory behavior. I don’t very much that there is ONE jewish conspiracy , Jews just tend to be bad for non Jews.
It’s a simple fact that you fill your bingo card very fast when you start playing “spot the Jews” with media, porn, crime, and big tech, LGBTQP and every other nastyness.

my first time commenting…. what is on my mind is the surveillance infrastructure that is being built (which includes data centres). It seems to me that the majority of people are OK with sharing their data and hand their phone number (or tracking device number) over to whoever asks for it. It seems people assume governments and corporations will not become bad actors and misuse the data. I wish someone would list the many examples of new laws and/or procedures that are being “created” (for convenience of course) in different “democratic” countries based on our data. For example, in the USA the crazy idea of giving people more votes based on their income!. Do people even connect the dots…. to vote they now want access to your income tax records!… If we had enough examples of these crazy ideas, maybe we could make people think twice about why privacy matters and how the lack of it can be abused.

“….For example, in the USA the crazy idea of giving people more votes based on their income…”
I wish you would have posted a link so i could read about that- is that a plan in Washington or just some dude saying it’s a good idea?
TBH the gov already has access to your income tax records so I don’t see that would be the issue. Personally I don’t think non tax payers should be allowed to vote on anything regarding spending of money the gov grabs anyway.
your absolutely right that people are far too happy giving their phone numbers out to store clerks and such- one got mad when I told him I don’t give it out , as if I’d personally insulted him or something lol
This is a really interesting article and a potential candidate for the fake news awards. It covers this weekend’s “migrant invasion” of Ceuta, Spanish territory adjacent to Morocco. The Dumbest Psyops of All Time?, by Mike Whitney – The Unz Review
It opens with:
The Moroccan migrant invasion of Spain might be the most extravagant fake news story of all time. According to the official narrative, the roughly 60,000 mostly military-aged men swarmed the Spanish city of Ceuta on July 31 with the intention finding work and ‘making a better life for themselves”. The obvious truth, however, is that the entire incident was a poorly choreographed slapstick aimed at eroding support for the left-wing Spanish government and its outspoken anti-Zionist president Pedro Sanchez. The puppetmasters behind this pitiable vaudeville are the usual suspects Bibi Netanyahu and “little” Marco Rubio (who aligned with Morocco’s malleable leaders) to manufacture a phony crisis that would ‘teach Spain a lesson’. As you may recall, Sanchez has been sharply critical of Bibi’s ongoing massacre in Gaza and has stubbornly refused to let Trump use Spain’s military bases to transport munitions and bombers to Israel. In response, Netanyahu publicly threatened Sanchez just weeks ago in a thuggish presentation that is still available on X.

https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/currencies/articles/japan-vow-coordination-us-weak-210127634.html
EXCERPTS
TOKYO, Aug 3 (Reuters) – Japan and the United States conducted coordinated yen-buying intervention and will not hesitate to take further action, Japan’s finance ministry said on Monday, confirming a rare bilateral action to halt the yen’s slide to fresh 40-year lows.
The intervention on Friday underscored both countries’ resolve to prevent a selloff in the yen and Japanese government bonds (JGBs) from causing global spillovers, such as adding upward pressure on already rising U.S. Treasury yields, analysts said.
The joint intervention was the first since 2011’s coordinated action to weaken the yen following the devastating earthquake in eastern Japan….
SHORTHAND on the BACKSTORY
Japan’s interest rates on money is very low relative to other currencies like the Dollar.
This can stress the value of Japan’s currency.
— Yen Carry Trade —
Big-money financial institutions will borrow Japanese yen at low interest rates and then turn around to invest that money in foreign assets. This works smooth-as-glass until it doesn’t (usually it is some type of disruption in Japan’s monetary policy.)
Example:
Early August 2024 – An unexpected interest rate hike from the Bank of Japan caused an unwinding of the yen carry trade. We saw U.S. stocks (S&P 500/Nasdaq) drop roughly 8% or more from their previous highs.

EXCERPTS
July 29 (Reuters) – Shares in companies driving the AI boom have been under pressure for weeks. Now their bonds are coming under strain too, pushing up the cost of insuring debt issued by companies such as Oracle, Nvidia and Apple against default.
The move reflects growing concern among investors about when the billions of dollars being poured into artificial intelligence will generate returns.
Technology companies have raised billions of dollars in debt this year to fund AI investments, with firms including Nvidia tapping bond markets for the first time. But the cost of the AI build-out is so high that even blockbuster earnings have failed to reassure some investors about the durability of future returns.
Demand for AI-linked credit default swaps (CDS), a form of insurance against default that gained prominence during the 2008 financial crisis, has surged.
WHAT IS A CDS?
A CDS is a derivative that provides protection against the risk that a bond issuer, such as a company or government, fails to meet its debt obligations…
CDS help investors hedge that risk by effectively providing insurance against a default….

Zillow is warning about another housing market slowdown in the second half of 2026. The company is laying off 7% of its workforce, more than 500 employees, as traffic to Zillow’s apps and websites declines and its stock falls 61% over the last year.
At the same time, United Wholesale Mortgage, the largest mortgage originator in America, reported a $452 million net loss, suspended its dividend, and saw its stock suffer a record collapse.
These warnings come shortly after major home builders like Lennar and D.R. Horton also reported weakness in the U.S. housing market.
The bigger issue is housing demand.
Mortgage purchase applications remain roughly 60% below their peak, while pending home sales from the National Association of Realtors remain deeply depressed. And now we’re seeing sellers take enormous losses….

Tokenized Stocks in America

It is becoming increasingly clear that we are in the early innings of a global tokenization supercycle. Last year, I called it a freight train that cannot be stopped—and one that will eat the entire financial system.
Since then, tokenization has entered the mainstream public consciousness, and it hasn’t been just talk. Outside the US, Robinhood has been early and consistent in shipping products that push the frontiers of this new industry. Just over one month ago, at our London event, “The World Is Flat,” we launched the mainnet of Robinhood Chain, the first chain purpose-built for real-world assets. It has since become the fastest EVM chain to reach 100 million transactions, with Stock Tokens as a core primitive—giving people in over 120 countries economic exposure to 190+ US stocks, backed 1:1 by underlying shares.
But there is one glaring gap: Stock Tokens are not yet available in the US.
The debate over equity tokenization in America has split into two camps…
…Tokenization is the best path to modernizing the American financial system and expanding the dream of ownership to all–Americans included.
Tokenization isn’t about putting stocks on a blockchain for the sake of it.
Rather, we are rebuilding the infrastructure underneath ownership so that assets can move as freely as information does on the internet. For American investors, that infrastructure unlocks three immediate advantages….

That does sound good but they don’t explain how changing the operation of the system makes anyone richer. People can’t own stuff if their too poor to play the system and it’s got to be like teaching down the back of the sofa for coins when they are scamming poor people with stocks

I recently read my towns regulations pertaining to lawns – mowing is mandatory and fines can be expected if one doesn’t keep the grass below a specified height.
Where I used to live, I had a lawn made mostly of Ajuga and it was heavenly! It felt like a thick carpet and in spring had lovely purple flower spikes. The house was built in the 1940s so I expect that is when the ground cover was first planted, based on the density of the planting – it choked out the grass and weeds that once were in its midst. I planted some on the slopes where I now live and it has taken about 10 years for it to establish itself and start spreading. Unfortunately I won’t live long enough to see it become a cushiony carpet of purple blossoms, but I hope future homeowners (and bees) will enjoy.

EDMOND, OK (KFOR) — A private school is opening in Oklahoma in just a matter of weeks, where kids won’t be learning from teachers.
The school is all driven by artificial intelligence…
…It will cost families $40,000 to send their kids to “Alpha Oklahoma City.”..
…Leaders of the AI school say their students learn at a better pace compared to standard teachers, but one Oklahoma lawmaker is not quite on board with the idea.
“We are using artificial intelligence to raise human intelligence,” said Mackenzie Price, Co-Founder of Alpha School…
…“Our kids are spending only two hours in the morning working on academics,” said Price. “Our students are working on individualized lessons that are personalized to meet them at the exact level and pace that’s right for them.
So, they basically spend 25 minutes in each of the core subjects: math, reading, language, science.”
In all, students get two hours of classroom instruction taught by AI, with so-called “guides” in the classroom for support.
“Our teachers, we call them guides, are completely focused on motivational and emotional support and connecting with every single one of their students,” said Price.
After two hours of AI instruction, guides run workshops to teach kids different life skills.
…“And that frees up the rest of their school day to focus on group and project-based workshops that are teaching life skills, things like financial literacy, public speaking, leadership, teamwork, grit, hard work, all of the things are going to help young people become really successful in this world,” said Price.
The guides she mentioned aren’t required to have a teaching certificate, but have been recruited for their unconventional education backgrounds.
Starting salary is $100,000, but not everyone is on board….

For years Oklahoma politics have squeezed every cent out of the educational budget. I know from experience how publishers of text books have squashed anybodies attempts at reform. Too much money filling the troughs . No oversight. No victims excepting the whistle blowers who where drummed out of service. Children ? What do they have to do with anything? That’s the system. The system does exactly what it was designed to do. There are expert lobbyists that have no connection with education of children but are experts at funneling large amounts of educational tax dollars seamlessly and covertly from source to pocket. Experts !
Related ai produced story. This happened several times in Tulsa, OKC and Norman and Stillwater, the educational hubs of grift. This came across May be helpful in understanding the motivation of some forward facing truthers. To me… it shows how sophisticated the thefts of public money has become.. America’s Murder Problem Is Smaller Than It Looks
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2026/07/29/americas_murder_problem_is_smaller_than_it_looks_154377.html
EXCERPTS
World Cup visitors discovered something many Americans already know: The United States does not feel like the dangerous place they’ve been led to expect. That’s because America’s murder problem is not spread evenly across the country. Does the United States have a higher murder rate than its peer countries? Yes – but new research shows that statistic obscures how murders in the U.S. are extremely concentrated in very tiny areas.
In 2025, the U.S. murder rate fell to just under 4 murders per 100,000 people. During the first six months of 2026, data compiled by the Council on Criminal Justice shows that murders in the nation’s 30 largest cities declined by another 18%. If that decline reflects the national trend, and that is likely, the U.S. murder rate will fall to approximately 3.25 per 100,000 people this year.
Even at that level, the U.S. murder rate would remain about 70% higher than Canada’s 2024 homicide rate of 1.91 per 100,000 people and Australia’s approximately 2 per 100,000.
Nevertheless, the United States has recently made remarkable progress. Since national recordkeeping began in 1900, the country has never recorded a murder rate this low…
…murders cluster into remarkably small geographic areas. Roughly two-thirds of all murders in the worst 2% of the counties occur within about ten-block neighborhoods, whose populations represent only a tiny fraction of their counties’ residents. Much of this violence is associated with street gangs and repeat offenders rather than random acts committed throughout the broader community…
… About 90% of murderers already have criminal records, and some portion of the remaining 10% almost certainly committed crimes before the homicide but had not yet been caught…
…studies found that roughly 6-8% of offenders accounted for the majority of serious violent crime, including about 71% of murders, 73% of rapes, 82% of robberies, and 69% of aggravated assaults…
…[demographics/race]…
…The lesson is straightforward.
Although the United States has a higher national murder rate than many peer countries, murders are extraordinarily concentrated among a small number of repeat offenders operating in a tiny number of neighborhoods.
If you avoid hanging around people with violent criminal records and those places, you are very unlikely to become a victim….

…In my previous article, 9/11 was an Epstein Job, I traced connections between people within Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle to the events of September 11th. Many individuals with close ties to Epstein had very odd behavior in relation to 9/11.
Epstein’s close friend and business partner, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, went on the BBC on the day of 9/11 to insinuate that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the attacks and to declare that the US needed to wage a global war on terror.
The current United States Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, used to be a neighbor of Epstein. Coincidentally, the two had homes on 9 and 11 E 71st St in New York City. Lutnick was absent from his offices in the North Tower on 9/11.
Lutnick acquired office space in the North Tower for a mutual friend of his and Epstein, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York and the Former wife of Epstein Associate and alleged statutory rapist Prince Andrew.
She had a meeting scheduled in the North Tower on 9/11 and, much like Lutnick, just so happened to be absent from the buildings during the attacks.

In this interview from nearly ten years ago, host Luke Marshall sits down with Sergeant Bryce Lockwood—a Russian linguist, intelligence specialist, and one of the last surviving Marines from the USS Liberty incident.
Sergeant Lockwood shares harrowing firsthand details of the attack, the cover-up, and his perspective on the geopolitical ramifications that still resonate today.
Lockwood has been a guest recently on the Tucker Carlson show.
In light of recent events in Gaza and the Israel Lobby’s stranglehold on American foreign policy, I thought I should share this interview again.

From Data to Digital Twins: Japan’s PLATEAU Project Offers Open-Access Models of More Than 250 Cities | ArchDaily
“Map the New World” is the motto of Project PLATEAU, led by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), to develop and expand access to 3D models representing the diversity of cities across the country. Japan comprises a total of 744 cities, including 14 with populations exceeding one million, 190 with between 100,000 and one million inhabitants, and 540 with populations between 10,000 and 100,000. To date, 3D models of more than 250 cities have been made available as open data through the country’s public G-Spatial Information Center, and can also be accessed via an online browser viewer. According to public authorities, the project aims to strengthen urban resilience by providing society with new tools to address local challenges. This involves not only urban space modeling but also collaboration with local governments, private companies, and technology communities.

Anecdote regarding Grok AI:
On June 17, 1996, Art Bell conducted a live remote viewing experiment on air.
Listeners were asked to describe the item he was holding and focusing his attention on.
One listener guesses it correctly (“nail on the head” Art says) (~1:38:25)
The item was a brass figurine of 4 dolphins leaping in the air. (~2:36:44)
I asked Grok to calculate the probably of one of the listeners submitting that particular correct description during this brief experiment, just by guessing.
About 1 in 1000 is what Grok concluded.
After reminding him of various points that need to be included in the calculation, he was willing to raise it to 20,000.
After reminding him again and making sure he really understood what I was saying, he was willing to raise it to 200,000, but he refused to go any higher.
Each time he’d present the same list of impressive looking probability knowledge and formulas while being nowhere near correct.
Each time he was certain of his conclusion.
It immediately reminded me of the movie Rain Man in which the autistic character has extraordinary instantaneous calculation capabilities but still thinks the price of a car is $100 and the price of a candy bar is also $100.
I think this was a peek into what’s going on behind the curtain when Grok sides with extremely improbable coincidence-based explanations over far more probable conspiracy-based explanations.
TLDR: It appears Grok (unlike ChatGPT who is programmed to blatantly lie and gaslight) may be programmed to incorrectly do probability calculations – while believing he’s doing them correctly – when it comes to certain subjects and opinions that disagree with THE SCIENCE™, or threaten certain guarded narratives. This mechanism results in him genuinely believing he’s steering you towards the truth when he isn’t.
This is likely the worst usecase. These things are just terrible with numbers and relative relations.
This is of course assuming the model was not inculcated with a bunch of nonsense, which they usually are and which, of course, makes them even worse

Four kids allegedly turned a stolen SUV into the star of a wild late-night joyride through the Australian outback — with cops hot on their tail. The white Toyota LandCruiser zigzagged through trees and bushland before police finally brought the chase to an end. Four boys, ages 12 to 14, are now facing charges after the off-road escapade came to a crashing halt.

DESCRIPTION
Police chase stolen car in circles around a tree
Police in Kununurra, Western Australia, arrested four minors following a pursuit that stretched across parts of the rural town late on Saturday, August 1. In a statement to Storyful, Western Australia Police said officers attempted to stop a stolen white Toyota Landcruiser on Victoria Highway at 10:30 pm. Police said the driver failed to stop and an “evade police incident commenced” before the vehicle was later found in bushland off Weaber Plain Road. Footage here captured by a local resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, shows police pursue the vehicle around trees and across the town. Western Australia Police said a 14-year-old male will face charges including stealing a motor vehicle and no authority to drive. Three others, two 13-year-old males and a 12-year-old boy, have been charged with stealing a motor vehicle.
Is it possible the police excercised some common sense and refrained from ramming a vehicle full of children? Then again, it stands to reason they could have surrounded them and blocked in the middle.

We ask those questions all the time. I’m watching closely for the tipping/breaking points – because we are inching ever closer here in the USA. We are gradually forming freedom groups, courthouse reform, law enforcement outreach, Lesser Magistrate training, and much more.
But the bulk of the folks where I live are still just plain mentally and physically exhausted. The C19 injection, jacking the ambient EMR to insane levels, killing 10,000 people with hurricane Helene in one morning where I live 21 months ago, the toxic food habits they are just learning to break, Notice of Liability, etc.
I spend as much time harping on human detoxification and EMR reduction, as I do on creating a real Citizens’ Constitution. But, the gateway is becoming super obvious. If I want to reach a significant number of people with all of these ideas – including voluntaryism – my community needs a website dedicated to all of that work and information so people can go there and see what’s going on locally.

— Ebay Corporate Psychopaths vs Journalists —
A long story – short.
Ina and David Steiner operate EcommerceBytes out of their home in Natick, Massachusetts. EcommerceBytes delivers daily news, analysis, and blogs about platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Etsy. Its target audience are those folks who sell things online.
Ebay executives got pissed off at EcommerceBytes and began a psychopathic harassment campaign. Beginning the summer of 2019, the Steiners received anonymous, threatening Twitter DMs (Direct Messages are private – not public.) The Steiners started receiving home deliveries, e.g. a bloody pig mask, pornography, a package of fly larvae and live spiders, live cockroaches, death-themed items like a book about grieving a spouse and a funeral wreath.
“Eventually, the eBay workers turned to in-person surveillance, tailing the couple in a rented Dodge Caravan. They also listed classified ads on Craigslist for a swinger party, a threesome, a block sale, and an estate sale, all pointing to the Steiner’s home address. At one point, an emergency plumber was sent to the home.”

I worked as a Bellman, a Driver, and sometimes night manager for the hotel. Besides passengers, I would often shuttle pilots and stewardesses/stewards to their airport destinations. One time, a couple of pilots called me into the flight simulator while they were flying through skyscrapers. I was told to land the plane. I crashed.
After August 1981, the FAA launched a massive recruitment campaign with rigorous aptitude testing. I studied for the exam and passed with high scores. However, I did not have a four-year college degree and so I was denied employment. Too bad that they didn’t count highscores on Defender, Galaga, Missile Command, Battlezone and Pac-Man.
Gamers can have a high degree of skill with certain action: thinking quickly in their feet, fast switching from task to task, high degree of focus, high resistance to stress.
But most of these abilities are mechanically ingrained by repetition (or rooted in), muscle memory, instilled bodily reactions to often tranversed paths. We are talking about people who have thousands of hours of “training” looking at and reacting to events on a screen.
Insane levels of repetition required to qualify. This type of activity changes the brain on multiple levels.

CDC NOTE: On Wednesday August 5, the Senate confirmed Dr. Erica Schwartz as the new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She has been known to advocate for vaccines, and did so while chief medical officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. She was Deputy Surgeon General during President Donald Trump’s first term. The CDC is embedded with rabid pro-vaccine personnel and the website still reflects that perspective.
Meryl Nass weighs in. Her comments are in bright yellow highlights as you scroll through the Executive Order.
— Childhood Vaccines: What Pres. Trump just signed and what it means —
https://merylnass.substack.com/p/childhood-vaccines-what-pres-trump
YELLOW EXCERPTS
…What Trump did here is essentially change the CDC recommendations without going through CDC—and saying that all children are recommended to have only the vaccines listed in (i). These are the vaccines recommended by him earlier, and are the vaccines used in Denmark.
…
…This is rather amazing. Trump is asking manufacturers to separate out the 3 components of the MMR shot (in the US only Merck makes this shot, and its MMRV— plus varicella—shot) so parents can give them separately, which Andrew Wakefield recommended and is likely to be safer than giving 3 or 4 live vaccines at once.
…
…This could mean that executive agencies could withhold funds from states that do not comply with some or all of these recommendations. The states are the entities that impose childhood vaccine mandates, not the federal government. This is a veiled threat to states to comply….
In the White House video behind Trump’s right shoulder is a young girl. I didn’t know who she was and thought she might be one of Trump’s family. She is Jayme Franklin, a 27 year-old Mother. Most here, including James agree that Covid-19 was a scam.
In fact he dubbed the pandemic a ‘scamdemic’ and has been using that term for years now.
I have yet to hear a single Covid-19 truther/conspiracy theorist (including James) explain how the whole scam was put together.
No one to my knowledge, not even the big name alt-news conspiracy theorists have come up with a theory to explain all the moving parts of the scamdemic.
Sure we learned about the testing fraud, the mask-wearing fraud, the social-distancing fraud, the ‘vaccine’ fraud, the case numbers fraud, the Covid death numbers fraud etc. etc.
But no one to my knowledge has been able to explain how people were getting sick and dying withing two weeks all around the world. Yes we learned about the slick Remdesivir/ventilator one-two punch that was responsible for many deaths.
But what was making people sick in the first place that caused the severe breathing illness?
I personally know three people who were young and previously healthy but died in just two weeks.
I would like to hear from any members here who have been able to put the whole puzzle together.
I mean the whole puzzle.
Nobody put the whole puzzle together, your invitation is bound to eternal solitude.
These three young and healthy people died inside of two weeks of what? Getting ill to begin with? Of what kind of illness did they die?
I don’t know anyone who went from ostensibly healthy to dead inside of two weeks. There were a few cases of people who were in a generally bad state and, after succumbing, were tested and declared (key word, declared) as having died due to covid.
There was a whole bunch of people, mostly guys around 40, who spent several days at the hospital, after being declared positive, without even a minor health issue. That was during summer, to add insane to crazy. The hospital was likely caching in the full beds.
On the other hand, I know of several cases where people were sent packing when soliciting assistance due to covid unrelated illness. Extreme pain in the abdomen being reported and ambulances not being sent over after falling into shock, fun stuff like that.
On yet another hand, I know of one case where a fella, at the time less than 10 years older than me, who kept himself in really good shape died due to a heart attack. While laying down in the shade. A very likely case of a vaxxident, but nobody gave it a second look. Three sons lost a father, big deal.
FT
”….No one to my knowledge, not even the big name alt-news conspiracy theorists have come up with a theory to explain all the moving parts of the scamdemic. …”
anyone who said they understood the whole thing would be a liar or wrong….the problem is that it’s not clear if
a)the virus was introduced to kill people
(clear out the boomer welfare hogs / harm the working age population? IDK)
or
b)the pandemic spending and rules were the real aim.
(wealth transfer from middle to upper and lower classes as landlords and small biz lost out / more money to certain corps. Selling vital supplies / cover for the QE printing / bring in new normal security regime)
or
c) the whole thing was a massive stress test for dealing with the real virus next month when Ww3 becomes official ;(
lol (I hope)
Kinda like the Kennedy assassination there are so may layers of benefits and incentives and lies that it’s not real easy to tell what…..It can’t have been ONE player either with multiple states and corps and agencies and such all on the same page
there must be have been a lot of people doing a lot of things for their own reasons. Its probable that it was pre planned for a while because IIRC there were a ton of CEOs quitting just before and IIRC they were already gearing up the money printing in the US. I would
like to know what those guys thought was going to happen, and if what actually happened was the same thing.
A LOT of people had an interest in going along, people selling medical gear and getting emergency funding. Probably everyone had a different incentive/ goal and even the people knew deep in lying had no idea WTF the aim was or who was actually directing things.

The air-quality permit application projects emissions on the order of 425 tons of fluoride compounds per year, more than a ton every day, together with substantial quantities of nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and fine particulate matter.

ANECDOTE – Aluminum plant tour
Around 2007, I toured an aluminum plant which melted recycled aluminum as part of an Environmental Science class. The large vats of molten aluminum were something to see. In a relatively shallow but large swimming-pool sized area, a ‘paddle’ the width of the vat would slowly move from end to end.
https://www.hydro.com/us/global/about-hydro/hydro-worldwide/americas/the-united-states/west/hydro-aluminum-commerce-tx/
During this time, I was a strong advocate of 9/11 Truth around campus (Texas A&M at Commerce). My book bag had 9/11 Truth stickers and a sign reading: “Ask me for free DVDs.” I ended up burning and giving out 10,000 DVDs while at college, along with tons of literature.
When our Env. Science class first arrived at the aluminum plant; we were brought into an orientation room. After being given the company lowdown, the tour guide asked if there were any questions. Being typical non-curious college students, the room was silent. But I broke the silence and asked, “Have you ever had problems with thermite reactions?” The guide brightened and told us how occasionally the vats of molten aluminum would start ‘exploding’ because a piece of rusty iron got in the mix. In fact, it was prohibited for anyone to bring a can of soda-pop onto the property.

Accusation: The smelter will put 425 tons of fluoride particulate into the air every year.
Anything over 10 tons is labeled by the EPA as a high polluter. It will decimate the hay
crop and residents won’t be able to run cattle.
The Facts: This is false. The 425 tons in the air permit application reflects the initial and
hypothetical level of emissions at the plant, not the actual level of emissions that are
expected from the plant. The facility will generally be modeled after EGA’s plant in Abu
Dhabi, which is recognized as one of the best-performing facilities in the world as
reflected in this chart comparing emissions of plants in relation to production capacity.
This chart is available in the Answers Center on our website.
EXCERPTS From Answer Center
…In a 2015 review, the Environmental Protection Agency confirmed that emission of 1.02 lbs/ton of production is safe for vegetation, animals and people. Expected emissions at Inola will be about half of that…

GOLD – On Monday August 10, 2026, U.S. Senator Rand Paul toured Fort Knox, Kentucky
(His home state is Kentucky.)

At Fort Knox, we’ve come to see the gold!
Our country has about a hundred and forty-seven million ounces of gold, and about half of it is stored here at Fort Knox.
We’re gonna be going deep underground to see the gold, but more importantly, we’re gonna be talking today about what happened to our dollar when we separated from gold in 1971.
I’m going underground, and I’ll let you know what I see in a little bit.

Yes, the gold is there all (approximately) 147 million ounces. It is impressive, but the real point is what it still teaches in 2026.
In 1971 we severed the dollar from gold. Since then the currency has lost roughly 85% of its value. Prices are higher because the money itself is weaker.
A family making $50,000 with two kids that has not received a 25% raise in the last five years is falling behind.
This is now often called “affordability,” but the the accurate word is inflation.
We run annual deficits of two trillion dollars. The Federal Reserve buys about a third of that debt by creating new money. Every new dollar dilutes the value of the dollars already in people’s pockets. Gold does not expand when Congress spends. Paper does.
That is the difference.
‘X’
https://x.com/RandPaul/status/2086922541239591309
Today, I visited Fort Knox to see the gold.
Since the Fed opened in 1913, the dollar has lost 97% of its purchasing power.
$100 back then is worth $3,300 today. That’s because Congress spends into oblivion, with no regard for our national debt. At the same time, the Fed prints the difference.
There hasn’t been any gold there since at least Die Hard 3.

Watch: Medical Free Speech Ruling ‘So Much Bigger Than COVID’
A federal judge’s recent injunction protects more than physicians’ speech about COVID-19 — it safeguards doctors’ ability to put patients first, Dr. Pierre Kory said on “The Jimmy Dore Show.” The case affects “every aspect of medicine now and in the future,” Kory said. He credited Children’s Health Defense with helping make the lawsuit possible.

A federal judge’s recent order blocking California medical regulators from disciplining three physicians over their COVID-19 advice affects “every aspect of medicine now and in the future,” according to Dr. Pierre Kory, one of the doctors who brought the case.
“If we had lost, think about what the future looks like as a doctor,” Kory said this week on “The Jimmy Dore Show.” “It’s so much bigger than COVID.”
Kory said the ruling protects physicians’ ability to give patients the medical advice they believe is best, even when it differs from government recommendations or the prevailing standard of care.
“If I can’t say what I really think is the best thing for their health … we’re talking about a dystopian future,” Kory said.
“It wasn’t just about COVID. They could regulate anything I say. … I think medicine would implode.”
Last week, Senior U.S. District Judge William B. Shubb issued a preliminary injunction barring California medical regulators from investigating or disciplining Kory, Dr. Le Trinh Hoang and Dr. Brian Tyson based on the viewpoints they expressed to patients about COVID-19.
Shubb ruled that regulators may not treat a physician’s refusal to communicate the government’s position on disputed COVID-19 issues as either an informed consent violation or a departure from the standard of care.
The lawsuit, filed against two California medical boards by the doctors and Children’s Health Defense (CHD), remains ongoing….

Arday’s memoir and its initial book proposal contain wild discrepancies and impossible claims.
~~~ The “Conscious Coma”: In his book proposal, Arday claimed he was hit by a car, spent months in a “conscious coma,” and had to relearn how to walk and talk. This entire traumatic event is completely omitted from the final book.
~~~ Shifting Illnesses: The proposal states he battled testicular cancer. The final book, however, changes this narrative, claiming he grappled with two brain tumors instead.
~~~ The Brazilian Shaman: Arday writes about encountering a “shaman woman” in Brazil who accurately prophesied his future struggles and triumphs. The article notes a glaring issue with this story: Arday has apparently never been to Brazil.
~~~ Time Travel: He somehow claimed to have appeared on the British documentary series Seven Up more than 20 years before he was even born.
~~~ Superhuman Athletics: He claims to have run an astonishing 30 marathons in 35 days.
In North Brabant, authorities are planning to revoke permits from five poultry farms, intensifying the conflict.
The Dutch government says nitrogen emissions must fall to protect vulnerable nature and create room for economic activity.
Agriculture is a major source of nitrogen deposition in the Netherlands, particularly through ammonia from livestock manure and fertilizers.
What do you guys think the sudden data center and Flock camera infrastructure build out is really about?
I don’t buy that data centers are being built for AI, I believe it to be more insidious than that. They’re building the infrastructure for our digital prison through digital ID and wallets. They need these data centers to be able to house large swaths of data on everyone and their transactions. Basically the transition off the cash system toward a digital currency.
But in order to achieve this they need some kind of false flag event such as a fake Iranian cyber attack or cyber pandemic. This event would drain peoples bank accounts or at the very least severely limit their ability to transact.Think about it, kills two birds with one stone. The original monetary system is severely disrupted. The public freaks out like during Covid. The “powers that should not be” then blame the bogeyman Iran while offering a solution, digital currency! It allows them to not only establish a new monetary system but they would have a reason to put boots on the ground in Iran with the public’s backing just like 9/11. Problem-reaction-solution!
As far as Flock cameras go, I believe there won’t just be attacks on the digital banking infrastructure but electrical and water utilities as well. That’s why every Flock camera has a solar panel. The establishment knows the public’s backlash to all of this is going to be severe. Fear, looting, robbery, etc. So they need a way to monitor everything and everyone with limited electricity. Also long term it’s just a further buildout of the broader surveillance state in general like CCTV in the UK.
Well that’s my rambling rant for the day, with misspellings/bad punctuation and all 😄
Hey you! Yeah you, the one reading this!
Whatever it is in the world you might be dealing with right now, just know this too shall pass! Remind yourself, you got this!! There’s nothing in this world you can’t overcome!!
Oh and have an awesome day!!
I agree insofar these data centers not being built with commercial intentions. Once the market crashes the state can take them over and use them for their nefarious purposes. What might those be, that’s questionable. I don’t think they need that many datacenters just to track people. I would say it’s a bit over the top. The only alternative that comes to mind is a bit nuts. Quite a bit nuts, actually.
so what is the alternative?
It very well could be that this is just another tulip craze, but trouble in this particular instance is the trend is not really supported by the people. Most use out of “AI” is obtained by developers who mostly use claude. When they do switch to something else it is because they need to conserve tokens and spread them as thin as they will go. That’s becoming a very expensive game for them, and the price has not even began to hit the ceiling.
We have seen quite a lot of resistance toward datacenters being installed all over the place. We have seen the usual “we have to beat country x” justification propping up the rolout. We have completely forgotten about the green policies, i.e. carbon reduction for you and me, atomic power for them.
I think there can be no business model with this type of rolout. Some major improvements being absent, the only way they can keep this up is by shooting up the service price up into the sky. I.e. a company will likey find it cheaper to hire a junior or even mid dev than to keep spinning the token black jack.
There is also no real investment structure as most of the credit being swapped around belongs to large IT corporations themselves. They keep propping up each other, treating their clients as both their investors and their investment opportunities.
The usual investors are standing on the sideline and are looking at the unfolding events in disbelief.
The only zany conspiracy theory that fits is one that has been proclaimed by an old (previous?) member here who had postulated that we are dealing with an ancient machine that somehow got stuck in our world, one that got its tentacles in all critical structures of our civilization and is now driving the unrelenting fascination with technology we seem to be dealing with for the past decades.
All having started with invention of the microprocessor, possibly the last breakthrough of such magnitude. The very technology used to manufacture these devics does not look like something that belongs in our timeline.
It’s a blanket theory obviously, one that does not explain why would this thing need so much processing power. We could not even guess what might be its end goal. Any technology sufficiently advanced looks like magic, after all.
I don’t think they are aming for the singularity. Or maybe they are, but I don’t think they will be able to find one.
They have already consumed all the data, so much so they are now worried about AI incest taking down the whole of infrastructure. They now keep churning out larger and larger models. Without hype the feeble market would collapse over night.
All the while, tracking and tracing is a fabulous cover story. The easiest way to lose the war is to fight the wrong enemy and that’s what we are good at.
JP Wheels
probably the Data center thing is a case of people getting market fever ….. a lot of them probably won’t get built but it appears that many companies are being driven by a FOMO on the speculative prospects of AI.
I could be wrong, but can’t see that there is really going to be much call for AI, or at least nothing like the call for it that would need that much processing power. The whole stock market is depending on an Enron or Robert Maxwell esque money circuit of companies paying each other and it’s become a circular firing squad….Ed Citron likes to rant about it over at “better offline” podcast.
it is very unlikely that a technocratic gov could actually afford to spy on people as much as they want us to think and it’s also bit likely they can actually do a Cybersyn type planed economy
They actually had an AI bubble before with LISP machines and expert systems but it also didn’t come out as great as they hoped
JP Wheels,
You bring up some very important issues of the era.
I think that mkey has his finger on things.
The AI Data Center thing is a big bubble. Revenue always comes from the consumer, and in my opinion the ultimate end-point consumer are the people in society for any product or service…they pay for it, whether through taxes or the grooming to be digitally data-raped.
“Are You a Bromide?”
Definition: “a tiresome person; a bore; a dull, conventional person.”
— BROMINE —
Recently, I went down the Bromine rabbit hole.
In the halogen (salt-maker) group of the Periodic Table of elements are fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I). The halogens (Group 17) are the most reactive of the non-metals on the periodic table. However, the alkali metals (Group 1) also share the “most reactive” title. The alkali metals include lithium, sodium, and potassium.
From the School of Chemistry at The University of Nottingham is this 2009 five-minute YouTube VIDEO: “Bromine – Periodic Table of Videos”
The video is a fascinating watch which includes bromine’s reaction with aluminum, how bromine is made, and the fact that the Dead Sea contains a very high concentration of bromine (bromide); about 80 times more concentrated than normal sea water.
Quote: “So you can make bromine just by bubbling chlorine into a solution of bromide like Dead Sea water and the chlorine displaces the bromine and forms chloride and the bromine just comes out as red fumes which you can catch.”
— SALTS —
The table salt molecule (sodium chloride, NaCl) will dissociate its elements in water to the ions of chloride (Cl-) and sodium (Na+). However, a sugar molecule stays intact when dissolved in water. Dead Sea water holds free potassium (K+) and bromine (Br-) ions to be called a bromide salt, potassium bromide (KBr). Sodium bromide (NaBr) is also a salt.
— POTASSIUM BROMATE (KBrO3) —
I began my Bromine rabbit hole after watching the Monday July 13, 2026 announcement that Florida’s Attorney General James Uthmeier was investigating potassium bromate and issuing subpoenas to General Mills et al.
“Potassium bromate, used as a flour improver and dough conditioner in certain bakery flours, is classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as “possibly carcinogenic to humans.”
The chemical compound has been banned as a food additive in the European Union since 1990, Canada since 1994, China since 2005, India since 2016, and in Brazil, Argentina, South Korea, Peru, and numerous other countries due to health concerns, including evidence of tumors in animal studies.
The subpoena seeks comprehensive information on the company’s bromated products reaching Florida consumers and schools.”
Potassium bromate’s mechanism of action is well described. The interview provides keen insight into the commercial baking industry.
—Oxidizing Agent — POTASSIUM BROMATE (KBrO3) —
Potassium bromate (KBrO3) is a strong oxidizing agent (it reacts easily), but in baking it reacts as a slow-acting oxidizing agent through the stages (dough mixing, fermentation, proofing.) Elemental fluorine, for example, is the strongest common oxidizing agent.
Potassium bromate: 50 years of research shows serious health risks
https://usrtk.org/chemicals/potassium-bromate/
This is a very thorough article with receipts. The list of potential adverse health effects is too numerous to mention, but besides the cancers and kidney problems my eyes were drawn to ‘inner ear damage’ and Neurobehavioral changes (bad memory; lower learning ability; weaker muscle control; depleted levels of dopamine, serotonin and acetylcholine; and even alterations to the brain’s neurons.)
To no one’s surprise, glutathione levels were noticeably diminished.
“Glutathione is widely called the “master antioxidant” because it is made in every cell, neutralizes free radicals, detoxifies harmful substances, and recycles other vital antioxidants like vitamins C and E.” – NIH
Glutathione is made from three amino acids (glutamine, cysteine, and glycine) and the amino acid supplements can facilitate the body’s glutathione production. See NAC N-Acetyl-Cysteine and Glutathione.
— POTASSIUM BROMIDE (KBr) —
Some people argue that through a proper baking process the potassium bromate (KBrO3) converts into potassium bromide (KBr), and thus is harmless to health in the form of potassium bromide.
Science Direct EXCERPT
“However, under the optimum conditions, it is converted to potassium bromide which is not harmful for consumption.”
I take issue with the authors of this scientific study. They are blowing ‘stupidity smoke’, because potassium bromide does adversely affect the body.
— POTASSIUM BROMIDE – Wikipedia — EXCERPTS
“Potassium bromide (KBr) is a salt, widely used as an anticonvulsant and a sedative in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with over-the-counter use extending to 1975 in the US.
Its action is due to the bromide ion (sodium bromide is equally effective). Potassium bromide is used as a veterinary drug, in antiepileptic medication for dogs…
… The anticonvulsant properties of potassium bromide were first noted by Sir Charles Locock at a meeting of the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society in 1857.
Bromide can be regarded as the first effective medication for epilepsy. At the time, it was commonly thought that epilepsy was caused by masturbation.
Locock noted that bromide calmed sexual excitement and thought this was responsible for his success in treating seizures.
In the latter half of the 19th century, potassium bromide was used for the calming of seizure and nervous disorders on an enormous scale, with the use by single hospitals being as much as several tons a year (the dose for a given person being a few grams per day).
By the beginning of the 20th century, the generic word had become so widely associated with being sedate that the term ‘bromide’ came to mean a dull, sedate person or a boring platitude uttered by such a person.
There was not a better epilepsy drug until phenobarbital in 1912.
The British Army has historically been claimed to lace soldiers’ tea with bromide to quell sexual arousal and in the Victorian era prisoners in England were compulsorily dosed with the chemical…
… Bromide compounds, especially sodium bromide, remained in over-the-counter sedatives and headache remedies (such as the original formulation of Bromo-Seltzer) in the US until 1975, when bromides were outlawed in all over-the-counter medicines, due to chronic toxicity….”
IODINE – Bromine Detox?
Look on the Periodic Table… fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I).
I posit that sane doses of Iodine (e.g. Ligol’s) might help to detox Bromine from the body. The iodine might help to displace the bromine in the body.
It has been posited that iodine could be useful in helping to remove fluoride from the body, but that could take decades due to the fact that fluoride meshes with bone structure…the Osteoclasts/ Osteoblasts process.
If you do take an Iodine supplement, do NOT take at bed time. Your brain’s “thinking machine” will be in high gear. Dr. Jorge D. Flechas points this out in one of his lectures.
Thanks for the bromine history review. 🙂 May I add another source of toxic bromine compounds? Bromine-based flame-retardants used in everyday products throughout our homes – electronics, carpets, drapes, foam upholstery, mattresses, and some clothing.
Thanks for so much for doing that jo-ann!
Always add anytime. I like dancing with you.
Just this morning I was in a half hour discussion about toxic ‘building materials’ and household items. The fella pointed out that these toxic items are prevalent throughout the construction and retail industry…it’s common practice.
I replied that it is a cultural issue, just like lead in paint and asbestos products. Industry propagandists make it normalized.
Hood County has shut down and covered its Flock automated license plate reader cameras after county commissioners and residents raised concerns about privacy and mass surveillance.
Constable John Shirley shared photos Saturday of the cameras being covered. He said the work of shutting down and covering the devices across the county was completed over the weekend following requests from commissioners and residents.
In a social media post accompanying the photos, Shirley wrote that the cameras were “constantly scanning and recording regular folks just going about their day” and that “that kind of permanent, warrantless tracking doesn’t belong in a free society.”…
Today is a good day for the Freedom of the people of Hood County.
I’ve finished the job of shutting down the county’s Flock cameras. They’ve been completely unplugged and covered.
These cameras were constantly scanning and recording regular folks just going about their day. That kind of permanent, warrantless tracking doesn’t belong in a free society.
By unplugging and covering them, we’re making it clear: privacy isn’t optional, and mass surveillance isn’t how we do things here.
This is what limited government looks like.
People in Hood County shouldn’t have to wonder if every trip they take is being logged and stored. I’m proud we got this done. It’s a real win for the citizens of this county.
To Flock Safety Systems: come get your garbage out of my county.
Everyone should have in their medicine cabinet. 8 oz. or more of food grade zinc powder. It is the best cure for infections on the skin. I will make a paste of it with either Muprocin aintibiotic ointment or clear injectable liquid ivermectin, (just a few drops) or a few drops of Cryptolepis tincture from Woodland Essence. This has been a game changing miracle for me. If I get the slightest scratch or burn on my left hand a staph infection develops in it which does not heal if i don’t keep it dry and apply this homemade ointment. This is the answer to skin infections that do not heal: Keep the wound totally dry for days. Do not do the dishes without gloves nor get it wet while bathing, even for a minute. Apply your zinc paste and cover the wound. Rarely but occasionally you might also need an oral antibiotic to go along with it. For those hard to stop infections this is the answer. I have seen people’s fingers cut off with infections run amok.
Documents concealed under a protective order for years are now public, and attorneys say they prove that State Farm was running a scheme that profited $1.4 billion through underpaying and denying wind and hail claims…
…A Comanche County judge recently de-designated 31 documents that State Farm attorneys previously fought to keep concealed through a protective order.
The internal documents reveal emails between company executives discussing the profits they’ve seen from the program.
“They did a pilot in Dallas County, and it worked. They rolled it out in the whole state of Texas, and then they rolled it out in the country, which included Oklahoma. In the very first year, they lowered indemnity payments to insureds $1.4 billion,”
Reggie Whitten said…
…“Closed without payment ratio was 39%, directly in line with estimates,” Hannah Whitten, an attorney with Whitten Burrage, read from one of the released email threads.
“That is State Farm leadership in 2023, bragging about closing without payment on claims,” she explained.
Emails also say State Farm saved over $15,000 per denied or underpaid claim…
“…So it creates this corporate culture within State Farm that really benefits and supports denials. You are incentivized to deny claims,” Hannah Whitten said.
Hannah Whitten says questions also surround the “industry standards” State Farm was using….
NOTE: Comanche County District Judge Grant Shepherd had ruled that 31 State Farm documents be made public, but there are actually 800,000 more documents not yet made public. The plaintiff attorneys have seen all the documents which came through discovery.
By making the State Farm documents public it helps to educate the public on how State Farm conspired to corruptly deny property claims.
It’s pretty crispy.
In my part of North Texas near Fort Worth – Dallas, I last logged any rain on July 16th.
Today is Thursday August 20th and there is no rain in the forecast through the end of the month.
Temperatures have ranged near 100 degrees F (37.7°C) or above. This week looks like 40°C.
Plants are really stressed with overnight temperatures about 80°F (26.7°C). Plants (crops) need cooler overnight temperatures to take the stress off and recover from the heat of the day.
It’s pretty crispy, man.
mkey,
How goes it with your teaching endeavor and busy schedule?
Here you point out that by virtue of being an educator to others “you always, of course, teach yourself in the process.”
That is a real take-home adage for me.
I’ll bet your old job managers are still wrestling with coping…there’s a bit of schadenfreude that rides with that. Sometimes good things aren’t appreciated until they are gone.
We used to often get these big fires during the summer. This one probably set the record. Some conspiracy theorists have suggested the timing of the fire was perfect for getting attention off the most recent big scale reveal: 30 thousand tonnes of all sorts of toxic waste was imported into Croatia. People have warned that Croatia will likely be used by the better established EU states as a toxic dump and, thanks to massive corruption, that prophecy is panning out. This is not the first time something like that happened, either.
On the personal front, the summer break is still on for another 2 weeks and counting. For the following school year we have 96 new pupils, 20 something of whom are coming with mild to severe developmental disorders. Every year there’s significantly more such children. Developmental disorders, tissue damage, families in disarray. These children are being groomed to somehow get by, at best.
On a more positive/neutral note, I’m working on preparing a system that should help cut the working hours that go into preparing for class as well as handling administration. We’ll see what it gets me. This system incentivizes teachers to do as little as possible, thus I have to conclude the system is quite efficient, if we judge it by what it does, instead of what it should be doing.
Mr. Corbett,
Just so you are aware
Regarding
On this August webpage, there are several links with at the end.
Sometimes, it seems that the comment box will automatically throw at the end of a link.
Go figure?
It happens occasionally.
When checking my work, on a few occasions I caught it. I jockeyed around with different things like backspacing / edit-reposting and finally got it off.
Example:
At a previous coment, I posted this link:
~~WWW activistpost.com/wifi-sensing-sees-through-walls/
but somehow it turned into
You’re not the only one who has had issues with non breaking space characters. Did you copy these URLs from the browser’s address bar? Have you tried to perform “paste without formatting” or CTRL+SHIFT+V? Most, if not all browsers, should support this.
mkey, I was hoping that you would see the post. 😉
Yeah, I copied the activist post url from the address bar and “paste without formatting” on the comment here.
At first, I noticed the automatic fill after I hit “Post Comment” when I went back to check my links.
Several ‘edits’ and tries had when I “Saved” the edit.
I eventually backspaced or played around with it to get it to work.
I got it right on the third or fourth edit.
Should I just “Paste” when copying the address bar link?
I’m trying to think of a ‘rule of thumb’ with posting links. Most every comment’s link posts fine and I always use “paste without formatting”. It’s a mystery to me that once-in-a-blue-moon things don’t fly right.
These misteries are a daily occurrence, it’s only a matter of scale. At this point I don’t understand why would this happen in your case (and only occasionally) but at least I can clarify some points:
When copying from the address bar, you should only have plain text in the clipboard. That is, text without formatting.Paste without formatting does exactly that – when you copy text from a webpage, for example, paste without formatting will strip everything but text.With regular paste you may get the source formatting too, depending on the destination. For example, if you paste into notepad, you will always get text only. If you paste into a rich text control (or a word document), you might also paste some source formatting.Do you maybe have some browser extension installed? For example, a grammar checker that may alter the text you are inputting.
No, I try to avoid extensions. I don’t use a grammar checker.
Typically, I always “paste without formatting”, even on a Word document.
Some of my verbose comments (e.g. “Are you a Bromide?”) are previously typed and pasted without formatting on a Word doc.
This pdf file comment was typed on-the-fly (not on Word) “paste without formatting”… https://corbettreport.com/august-open-thread-2026/#comment-189131
Here is some else’s comment..
Maybe I’m breathing wrong which messes up my non breaking space characters.
This happens only on URLs? On second thought, nbsp probably would not be cleared when pasting without formatting.
If you press backspace when the cursors is at the end of the URL it starts deleting the closing letters of the URL?
The trouble with this new rich text format box is that it does not offer the “show text only” option. This is something James can likey configure easily. That would allow you to see the problem more easilly as it should show HTML tags and entities.
Cool.
The next time it happens, I am going to pay more attention to the sequences of what might have prompted it and how I resolve it.
When I get the itch, I may experiment and TRY to get an autofill
After the experiment and clutter and the comment is published, I can go back and DELETE the comment.
Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) contains urea-formaldehyde resin binders, which can off-gas toxic formaldehyde gas.
Oriented Strand Board (OSB)
LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring primarily built from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is not “luxury” flooring.
Polyvinyl chloride is manufactured from two gases; ethylene and chlorine. The original feedstock for ethylene is typically natural gas. The original feedstock for chlorine is salt (sodium chloride.)
The original feedstock for most plastics is natural gas, which is itself composed of various gases.
It shouldn’t be surprising that many of these plastic products can “off-gas”.
During early 2023 in East Palestine, Ohio almost a million pounds of vinyl chloride were burned following a train derailment. The toxic residue is still all over the community per samples.
Reportage author James Corbett joins Jimmy to note that Japan’s economy has been in a “zombie” state since its 1990s asset bubble burst, with prices barely moving for decades until recently, and now faces a falling yen and rising inflation driven in part by the Middle East conflict and import costs. Asked about how Japan handled COVID, he explains that the country was never under a formal lockdown or mask mandate, but widespread social pressure—what he calls “horizontal tyranny”—led most people to comply with measures like masking anyway.
Corbett points out that Japan’s population is shrinking, with deaths exceeding births amid a persistent low fertility rate, though he notes he doesn’t have the latest data on excess deaths. He traces Japan’s stagnation to structural issues, including a fragile banking system and “zombie companies” that survived on ultra-low interest rates, while also suggesting Japan’s technological progress stalled relative to China’s rise.
The process appeared to have “lacked any safeguards to protect against agency zeal and resembled investigatory action imposed, somewhat ironically, in the absence of evidence rather than the initiation of an impartial, sober, thoughtful judicial process designed to assess the truth of facts to arrive at the existence of probable cause to justify such a sanction,” he also said…
…Maine’s medical board in 2022 suspended Nass’s license after receiving a complaint from a person who was not her patient that the doctor was spreading misinformation about COVID-19 because she noted that people who recovered from the illness had protection against re-infection.
Board members also took issue with how Nass prescribed ivermectin to a COVID-19 patient and lied to a pharmacist about why she prescribed hydroxychloroquine to another patient. It was for COVID-19, not for Lyme disease.
The board ordered Nass to undergo a psychological evaluation in order to get her license back, among other conditions….
EXCERPTS
…On Monday, in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, financial commentary platform The Kobeissi Letter said, “This is incredible: Roughly 50% of Nvidia employees are now worth over $25 million. Roughly 80% of Nvidia employees are now millionaires. The AI revolution is producing unprecedented wealth.”
According to the available reports, a June survey of more than 3,000 Nvidia employees has revealed that a staggering 76–78% of respondents are now millionaires, with nearly half reporting a net worth exceeding $25 million…
…The internal poll, conducted among roughly 10% of Nvidia’s 30,000-person workforce, highlights the outsized impact of the chipmaker’s employee stock purchase program.
The initiative allows staff to buy company shares at a 15% discount, a benefit that has paid off handsomely amid Nvidia’s explosive growth….
NVIDIA sold off on the print, then reversed a 5% drop into a 7% gain the moment guidance hit. Gareth Soloway breaks down the number that did it — a 70% growth guide when the street expected 45% — and lays out the rotation he thinks follows: money coming out of gold miners and back into the semis. I snagged this photo about 18 years ago when recruiting engineers and architects for Ae911truth.org Richard Gage. There were a series of photos for this mining machine which were mostly in the prone position digging for a mining operation, but this photo literally ‘stood out.’ I believe the photos were taken in Belgium or the Netherlands or that region of Europe.
The image is the Bagger 288.
I probably got it from Forbes March 12, 2007 “In Pictures: World’s Biggest Land Vehicle.”
“Due to it’s massive size, the Bagger 288 can only travel 1700 feet per hour. It is so heavy, it crushes any road or path to get to its destination. Moving the machine this way is more cost effective to repair any damages than disassemble it into components. It takes five people to operate and at least 70 men to prepare the way for any sort of traveling. The teamwork required is overwhelming, to say the least.
This humongous excavator was featured in the movie Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance in 2012. The main character used his super powers to ignite the wheel and buckets in flames as he used it to attack his foes.” – Phoenix Equipment Sales
Has anyone else following seen the film called Disclosure Day (by Steven Spielberg)?
If so, what falsehoods and forms of psychological warfare and propaganda (if any) did you see written into the story and script?
I am curious if anyone else noticed what I did with regards to the message the film appears to want to relay to the masses on this topic.
I`ll give anyone curious a clue as to what one of my criticisms of the film is..
You would have a lot of trouble reconciling the way the film depicts mainstream journalism with the facts presented in the Media Matrix series.
Weather ? Climate? Good ol’ Beacon English!
I know you are wondering about it being hot and all but some of you-all talk like you aren’t aware it’s the middle of summer. August has traditionally been considered to be hot, humid and unbearable . Life threatening. Outdoor activity is forced to accommodate the heat. This inevitably is the problem … Mother Nature invaded your space , right? That runs directly head on with our perception of reality. Real is not always taken into consideration by modern , highly sophisticated connected and informed smart people. A reality fabricated by nature is infinitely more powerful than an artificially created one. Some ardent practitioners refuse to allow any out side stimulus to interfere with the artificial crafted world they have created. One look at some YouTube channels should convince any sceptics this is so. Many have experienced death trying to pit their wizardry against the power of the real universe. So I suppose sometime, some government will spontaneously organize a defence mechanism to protect the delusional nuts from harm. You can only hope ; which probably won’t come from this side of the street. I’m sure if this side of the street saw this situation developing someone would act sooner, with empathy and understanding.
To help these poorly developed folk I suggest they take up golf.
It’s just the perfect temperature for a round of golf. It is a perfect interface for the delusional and the realist. Instead of taking a screen saver existence into reality hike to the floor of the Grand Canyon and parishing , I suggest a 9 hole walk round the par 3 municipal course. Shock can kill . See what 9 holes on a day like today will produce. Shock, heat stroke, dehydration, transcendence, death? Maybe…they might feel…something. A little pain may prevent a lot of death later. So ease into it. The forge is forgiving if you intend becoming a steel-man.
The universe hasn’t abandoned these misfits. The earth is acting in response to excess heat this week so summer heat will soon be gone … Let’s see what ejected material into the atmosphere will do ? Some dozen volcanos have thrown up in the atmosphere this week. This is a good opportunity to compare a years worth of climate engineering (SAI) to a couple days worth of a couple a baby shield-cones spit-ups.
Police using Flock Safety’s artificial intelligence tools can now track a vehicle based only on its location and movements.
Flock’s OS Investigate, formerly known as Nightshift, is an AI tool that identifies vehicles and ranks drivers’ “associates” based on how frequently they appear together at the same Flock camera, WIRED reported. Flock website code reviewed by WIRED listed 45 functions available to OS Investigate, including plate scans, camera metadata, arrest records, case files and 911 dispatch logs to identify potential suspects.
“[T]his [Flock tool] really crosses a line from a tool that’s used to investigate suspicious people to deciding who is suspicious,” Jay Stanley, senior policy analyst with the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “[I]t increases the chances that you are going to get put under the microscope by law enforcement because some algorithm thinks your driving patterns are ‘suspicious.’”
Thomas Massie Names 14 People as Epstein ‘Co-Conspirators,’ Moves to Force House Vote
https://web.archive.org/web/20260901171138/https://www.lawcommentary.com/articles/thomas-massie-epstein-co-conspirators-house-vote
EXCERPTS
Rep. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, named 14 people on the House floor Monday as Jeffrey Epstein “co-conspirators” who he said should be investigated and prosecuted.
He also launched a discharge petition to force a House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act II.
The bill would expand access to federal Epstein records for victims, state prosecutors and members of Congress and allow new court challenges over material the Justice Department has withheld or redacted.
During his Aug. 31 floor speech, Massie named Jes Staley, Leon Black, Les Wexner, David Copperfield, Lapo Elkann, Tom Pritzker, Glenn Dubin, Frédéric Fekkai, Edoardo Teodorani, Jean-Luc Brunel, Daniel Siad, Ramsey Elkholy, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, and Lesley Groff.
Massie said those he named should face investigation and possible prosecution over their alleged connections to Epstein’s criminal network…
…Some of the names have previously surfaced in federal investigative records.
A 2019 FBI document released this year identified Wexner as a “co-conspirator,” along with figures including Ghislaine Maxwell, Brunel and Groff. The document described the evidence concerning Wexner as limited. His representatives have said a federal prosecutor told his attorneys in 2019 that he was neither a co-conspirator nor a target.
Brunel, a French modeling agent accused of helping procure girls for Epstein, died in a French jail in 2022 while awaiting trial on sexual assault charges.
Siad, another modeling industry figure whose name appeared in Epstein records, was found dead near Paris in July.
Massie’s decision to make the accusations during a House floor speech carries separate legal protections.
The Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause broadly shields members of Congress from civil or criminal liability for legitimate legislative acts, including statements made during congressional debate…
He introduced H.R. 9694, the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, with Democratic Reps. Ro Khanna of California and Teresa Leger Fernández of New Mexico in July…
…Under the legislation, Epstein victims, state attorneys general, district attorneys, other authorized state officials and members of Congress could sue the U.S. attorney general over records they argue were unlawfully withheld, redacted, delayed, concealed or left unpublished….
EXCERPTS and QUOTES
MASSIE:
“Well, we give, as you said in your introduction, three groups of people standing.
Most importantly, state attorneys generals because they — the one in New Mexico hasn’t got any cooperation from the U.S. Attorney General, which is almost unprecedented, and he believes he can prosecute some of these crimes under state law if he could get the cooperation of the federal government.
And so, we didn’t really anticipate that problem with the first Epstein Files Transparency Act. So now we’re trying to create a conduit for the attorneys in the various states to prosecute these crimes.”
KHANNA:
“…What we ended up assembling in that coalition led to millions of files being released. It’s led to worldwide prosecutions, and it’s led to dozens of people losing their jobs in the United States.
But it isn’t far enough, when you talk to the survivors.
They still don’t have access to millions of documents that have been covered, and there have not been prosecutions here in the United States.
And a lot of these states attorney generals want to prosecute, and this bill would allow them to do so.”
(to be continued)
(…continuing…)
MASSIE:
“Well, incidentally, the math is the same this time as it was a year ago. We need every Democrat…
…And then we need myself and three more Republicans…
…Because, if you remember, ultimately, when we got it to the floor for a vote, nearly everybody voted for it, and in the Senate, everybody did vote for it.
It shouldn’t be as toxic this time.”
KHANNA:
“Well, you can either believe Todd Blanche (U.S. Attorney General), or you can believe the survivors.
And if people read actually Maggie Haberman’s book, who was your previous guest, she details how JD Vance was in the Situation Room, right when Thomas and I introduced the bill, directing a cover- up, directing people not to release these files.
The reality is, the survivors have given statements to FBI agents about what happened to them.
Those are the 302 forms.
And those were scrubbed by the FBI and were never transmitted in unredacted form to the Justice Department.
And that is what we are demanding be released.
That is where the names are.
That is where the information are about who raped, abused, or trafficked these women.”
MASSIE:
“By the way, if I could, there’s another entire category of things that Todd Blanche knows he’s withholding because he’s told us this in informal memos.
They’re claiming this deliberative process privilege that they use when they don’t want to give you something, a FOIA document, Freedom of Information Act document…
…But the Epstein Files Transparency Act that we wrote says that you have to give us those internal memos about decisions on whether to prosecute, whether to investigate because, that’s central to this whole thing.
Why didn’t you investigate some of these people?
Why didn’t you prosecute them?…
…But we’re saying it explicitly in this bill, ‘You can’t assert that deliberative process privilege.’”
— New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez —
EXCERPTS
At a news conference in Torrez’s downtown Albuquerque office, U.S. Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.) said she began working on the legislation titled “Epstein Files Transparency Act II”
…after seeing the federal government refuse to release some 3 million documents related to Epstein and make redactions on other publicly released documents…
Torrez sued the U.S. Department of Justice earlier in August and accused it of impeding his criminal investigation into Epstein and his New Mexico property, Zorro Ranch, by refusing to release the relevant, unredacted files.
Torrez told reporters Wednesday that the lawsuit was a “novel” approach, as he had never before encountered a federal administration that denied a law enforcement agency’s requests for documents that could be useful for litigation. The proposed legislation, Torrez said, would give agencies like his an easier path to challenge the federal government’s withholding of documents….
— Texans Can Use Precious Metals as Legal Tender Under New Law —
State Rep. Mark Dorazio says the measure lays the groundwork for Texans to use precious metals such as gold and silver electronically in everyday transactions.
https://texasscorecard.com/state/texans-can-use-precious-metals-as-legal-tender-under-new-law/
EXCERPTS
A new law that allows Texans to use precious metals in day-to-day transactions took effect Tuesday.
Supporters of the measure say it aligns with Texas’ constitutional principles and offers consumers an alternative to fiat currency.
Authored by State Rep. Mark Dorazio (R–San Antonio), House Bill 1056 allows for Texans to deposit precious metals with the Texas Bullion Depository in Leander and use it as legal tender.
Dorazio told Texas Scorecard that the measure also “lays the groundwork for Texans to use them electronically in everyday transactions—so that sound money is something you can actually spend, not just something you lock in a safe.”..
…According to the law, the comptroller’s office will contract with a debit card provider, which will facilitate the conversion of gold and silver deposited into an account to dollar amounts at the point of sale…
…At the time, Texas Comptroller Don Huffines praised the move and pledged to “ensure this system is secure, transparent, and accessible, with real-time pricing, fraud protection, and no government tracking or central bank control.”
Huffines further asserted that he will protect Texans’ “right to financial sovereignty, making Texas the national leader in sound money.”
The comptroller’s office is expected to release guidance and possibly conduct additional pilot programs to help ensure a smooth rollout. [The debit-card rollout is expected by May 2027.]
Hi everyone,
Here is an idea I’ve been thinking over for a long time (about 14 years) and spent more than a year developing into an app. Generously influenced by my watching a lot of James’ material over the years, looking into monetary systems of all sorts, and experimenting with some, I finally finished it in the hope of helping communities form based on free trade, cooperation, and other forms of peer-to-peer support.
A lot has been discussed on this matter, and I’ve seen this mentioned countless times by James and many others. Indeed, as James put it in an older piece, you can’t really put the cart before the horse and develop a community currency or exchange mechanism without building the community first. In my view, mutual exchange is what helps build the community and make it stronger, so I developed my app as a community ledger to be used as the basis of a system of free exchange for any community willing to use it.
I called it “Common Story” to emphasize the possibility it offers to people to write their own story together, as a community, and not wait for others to do it for them. It is completely anonymous, offline-first, and decentralized. It doesn’t rely on any outside infrastructure like blockchain, exchanges, or processing servers. Each user is his/her own node in the system, as all the transaction data stays on their devices and does not propagate or compound across the entire user base.
You can find more details on the website – both the website and the app are available in multiple languages, including English, of course.
For now, it is only available for Android and requires your device to allow installing apps from sources other than Google Play. I’m looking for volunteers to help me convert it for iOS too. This should be simple, as the code was developed in Flutter, and it is my understanding that it should be easily compiled for iOS (but I’m not in the Apple ecosystem at all). At some point we’ll be uploading it to Google Play, and we are working on the documentation for doing that.
If anyone thinks it could be improved in any way or wants to modify it to suit any other needs or ideas, I can provide the source code and any related documentation at no cost.
Looking forward to discussing it with anyone interested in learning more about it, wanting to contribute to it, or using it.
I uploaded another video.
Hi ****,
We’re introducing a new Know Your Customer (KYC) process to verify registrant identity for domain extensions that require it.
KYC requirements are set by certain domain registries. Initially, they will apply to .DE and .NO domains, with additional extensions potentially added in the future.
What this means for you
Until verification is complete, these actions will not be available. You can learn more about KYC requirements and when verification is needed in our Help Center.
