  1. Well I was one year off on my prediction that JC would finally break from his macho facade and return the “love you” from JP. Brings a tear to my eye.

    • Love and appreciate the James squared NWNW guys too

    • The true path of life is LOVE.

John Lennon said it correctly . All you need is LOVE.

      • John Lennon admitted in an interview that he signed a 20 year contract with Satan. That would explain much of the power he was given over audiences and the imagery on his albums. You really do have to ignore a lot of facts to deny the Lord

        • @setatliberty

Based on the sense I get of John Lennon from his music and interviews, I think he would have found your accusing him of being ‘in league with the devil’ very amusing. If he is looking down on us now, I hope he gets a good laugh out of silly comments and accusations like that, I know I do.

Lennon spent a fair bit of time and capitol on crippling the war profiteer’s campaigns for perpetual war with his efforts, he illuminated the fallacies of corrupt religious institutions, also shining a light on illegitimacy and inherently violent nature of the state with his lyrics. These are the actions of an individual that cherishes life, liberty, compassion and freedom. He did make a few comments and jokes that really rattled bible thumpers so perhaps that is where the myth of his deal with the devil came from.

          • They realized that music is a powerful art form that can change narratives and he had particular gift that was a threat to them. Challenging the war machine is deadly.

            • @cu.h.j

Here is a little something with a message for those who would speak ill of the dead (talking smack on good people like John Lennon) and to those who plotted to have him killed as well

              “Instant Karma!” by John Lennon

          • “He did make a few comments and jokes that really rattled bible thumpers”

            Well said comrade!

“Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.”

            Karl Marx

      • @Newname

“All you need is LOVE.” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐢𝐥 😉

    • Whenever Pilato has said goodbye at the end of one of these, I’ve always exclaimed aloud ‘love you, man!’ to finish his sentence. To have heard it said before I had the chance totally shook me: I’d never have thought it could actually happen! And especially not from Corbie first! Love you guys both very much, by the way! Laughed when I saw this was the first comment, too! Christmas come early this year…

    • It’s still very much like a bro hug.

The “Love you” is not even close to “I love you.” In my life, I’ve found it to be an absent minded throw away, something you’re supposed to say, an “OK, I’ll say it but don’t hold me to it” sort of thing. I trust actions far more. In fact, whenever it’s been said to me, I knew the friendship was over.

I know male friendships are different, though…

    • Awe, that’s sweet (heart warming). I haven’t had the time to watch. I always figured that these guys were good friends in real life, not just having an interview.

  2. James C is on fire in this one. What did good ole Crock do to you? Rivetting!

    • Yes I noticed that. Its is nice to see him coming around more as the years pass.
Becoming a father and knowing what you are giving our children CHANGES everything!

  3. There is still a large percentage of the population that identifies themselves as “Christian;” many of which take their seat among congregations that are steered into a belief that the state of Israel, as recognized by the United Nations, is the “Israel” that the holy scriptures speaks of, therefore they are easily persuaded to believe that a puppet in power that supports “God’s chosen,” must be God’s chosen candidate.

Having been a man that frequented those institutional assemblies and consumed the propaganda, as if it were an empirically proven fact, I can see how they can be swayed, yet it is better to search matters out for oneself.

    • I agree that required “CHILDLIKE faith” will make you believe everything they say.

Then when it is evil and you recognize it. The answer is “Gods ways are above mans ways and you can understand them.”

On the other hand we all know 2 wrongs don’t make a right. But with the God of religion he can do much evil and it is only righteousness and holiness!

All hog wash to a man who drops the childlike faith.

      • If I agreed with you, we’d both be wrong

        • You actually believe in Virgin Births?
God has sex with little girls who are engaged to a man?
That you have to eat your lords body and drink your lords blood to be saved?
That the murder and torture of Yeshua is Gods plan for your salvation?

Forgive me for saying I agree with you.

    • Totally agree! The church I attend is under the thumb of “The Southern Baptist Convention”. Basically a PAC that seems to dictate policy. Nothing like what a church is supposed to be. Far better to do your own research.

  4. I don’t disagree with your overall assessment of what is happening, but….
If you search on the WEF site for almost any name you get a search result. Simply because Javier Milei shows up there on the search, does not mean much. You can find Donald Trump and Victor Orban there as well. Some searches appear to be simply a description of the person searched.

    • That is because they are all part of the criminal cabal. Its one team and your not on it.

You just have to see what they do not what they say. Don’t listen to their words(Lies). Pay attention to what they do and who they associate themselves with.

You can’t become a billionaire caring about others! They only serve money and the rules are “What ever it takes”

    • why wouldn’t you expect those names to be there. You don’t honestly think they are working for you, do you?

  5. James & James – Print and online mags may be kicked to the curb by the corporate regime, but you guys have a gold mine with your unique independent video format with NWNW, so for heavens sake don’t change a thing fellas. The enemy may fall to your right, and to your left, and you may have to trod over their dead corpses from time to time, but you (and your faithful audience) will barely take notice when the worthless media giants fade away off into the sunset, one-by-one. Good riddance say I

    • But if they had a print version I would subscribe.

      • @Newname

“if they had a print version I would subscribe.”

        Me too! 100%.

I do have much of the Corbett Report and some of the Media Monarchy archive on backup drives in a secure location but I always prefer physical printed material over digital whenever possible.

While hardcore archivists, cryptocurrency enthusiasts and survivalists can theoretically take steps to make their digital treasures EMP hardened, very few actually go the distance, and so all the things they hold dear on their hard drives are vulnerable to being wiped from existence (and/or rendered inaccessible) if the sun decided to have a little hiccup.

Printed material however, is immune to potentials such as these

        • Yes I think you will need much more than a Faraday cage.

We are due a 1000 year storm. The last one wiped out most of civilization.

I will be expecting something like what has happened many times in he past.

Ever read the epic of Gilgamesh or studied the Dark Earth Chronicles?

          • @Newname

Who knows, we could get a ten thousand year storm in our lifetime too.. it is hard for us to gauge these things given the infant like age of our species (in the grander scale of astrophysical time scales).

If you were to describe what a thousand year storm would look like to the layman, how would you describe it?

Can’t say I`ve read about the Dark Earth Chronicles, but the epic of Gilgamesh certainly rings a bell. I was doing research for an article focusing on the clearcutting of some of the last intact ancient temperate rainforests (with primary trees well over a thousand years old, see: for more info) and I remember coming across archeological evidence which lined up with mythical accounts/stories regarding an ancient temperate rainforest ecosystem that was predominantly composed of massive (Cedrus libani) Cedar trees before modern recorded history in the middle east.

It appears that not much has changed in the millennia since the time of the felling of ancient cedar forests of Lebanon (well that is except for the profiteering augmented speed, technological viciousness and state provided armed protection through which the felling of our last few ancient forests is facilitated now).

            • @Gavinm
“If you were to describe what a thousand year storm would look like to the layman, how would you describe it?”

Here is what Chan Thomas Wrote in Adam and Eve.

“With a rumble so low as to be inaudible, growing, throbbing, then fuming into a thundering roar, the earthquake starts.
Only it’s not like any earthquake in recorded history.

In California the mountains shake like ferns in a breeze; the mighty Pacific rears back and piles up into a mountain of water more than two miles high, then starts its race eastward.

With the force of a thousand armies the wind attacks, ripping, shredding everything in its supersonic bombardment. The unbelievable mountain of Pacific sea¬ water follows the wind eastward, burying Los Angeles and San Francisco as if they were but grains of sand.”

            • more here

Nothing – but nothing – stops the relentless, overwhelming onslaught of wind and ocean.

Across the continent the thousand mile-per-hour wind wreaks its unholy vengeance, everywhere, mercilessly, unceasingly. Every living thing is ripped into shreds while being blown across the countryside; and the earthquake leaves no place untouched. In many places the earth’s molten sub-layer breaks through and spreads a sea of white-hot liquid fire to add to the holocaust.

Within three hours the fantastic wall of water moves across the continent, burying the wind-ravaged land under two miles of seething water coast-to-coast. In a fraction of a day all vestiges of civilization are gone, and the great cities – Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago,
Dallas, New York – are nothing but legends. Barely a stone is left where millions walked just a few hours before.

  6. The saddest part of all this is it is 2023 and people are still prisoners of religious nonsense.
    – – – – – – – – – – – – –
“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”
    – Ezra Pound
    – – – – – – – – – – – – –
The persistence of a MYTH doesn’t make it true.
All organized religions are based on man-made “gods” used for power and control over others. They strip humans of sovereign spiritual expression of thanks for the miracle of sentience to be replaced with rule books of fear from made up UNPROVABLE evils like satan, hell, demons, sin, etc.

Personal testimony about “miracles” and the such are just that, not facts. Faith isn’t fact only fact is fact. Fundamental thinking & Faith means someone tells you what & how to think. It also means you abdicate the right to think for yourself.

Religious belief is a foolish attempt to explain the unexplainable settling for the most improbable, unprovable answer to life’s creation and purpose, rather than an exploration of one’s own nature and relationship to existence.

DEMONS: organized religion has sin and devil; the government has terrorists; global corporations have yellow waxy floor buildup, etc.; universities say you’re ignorant and need to be taught.

REDEMPTION: Promised by all for a cost. Parishioners, taxpayers, customers, and students must fork over money in a never ending dance of new demons, or new ways of redemption.

Everyone arguing and name calling to be the hippest con in prison

    • The religion replaced Kings.
It is just a step in the progression of mankind to find the truth.

I trust that we will overcome this Evil too!

      • @Newname
        >>I trust that we will overcome this Evil too!>>

Indeed, but the cost to most narcissistic people in our reality, conditioned like rats in a lab is now far too much. Last good chance was the 60’s. I was there, I saw, felt, and lived with hope, the key ingredient now missing.

        >>The religion replaced Kings.
It is just a step in the progression of mankind to find the truth.>>

That is an old cliche’ much like accusing people who don’t believe in the god myth as having an atheistic religion. Just whose and what “truth” has not been already squashed by the controllers??

The first thing conquerers do/did was to destroy all ceremonial practices and leaders of higher consciousness. I saw it happen in the 60’s when those of use who were experimenting with the teacher plants (mescaline, peyote, hemp, even LSD) on paths seeking “enlightenment” or something close to it. We got demonized and beaten down in movies, TV, politics, music, etc. for not desiring to follow the controller’s rules.

Th biggest lie out of that was our motivation came from an unprovable “Satan” and such nonsense.

The assumption by most is that from our material inventions, technology, etc., we are the high end result of progress when in reality we are as low on the chain as humanity can get. Wars, famine, rape, murder, theft, liars, and on and on. Hardly a showcase for advancement.

Still can’t duplicate how to pile up millions of granite blocks weighing thousand of tons and fit so tight one can’t put a credit card in the joints 🙂 It surely wasn’t slave labor.

I always throw in, if we are so civilized, why don’t we have thank you lights on the back of our vehicles.

IMO some force/forces have been in control of humanities natural evolutionary progress since the last ice age. Don’t know the “truth” but I do know what are lies.

        Thanks for commenting.

        • I was a baby in those days.

I agree with you that we have been controlled by the wicked for many generations.

Not sure when this wickedness began? I do know that fear and force are behind it. The religions of the world enforce submission to it..

I have always told everyone I think we have been on a steady decline in human advancement. Ever heard about the MOON light towers?

Recently I discovered the Dark Earth Chronicles.

They seem to answer many questions. There are still many holes but my mind tells me they are on the right track.

          • Finally, another searching the bigger understandings of who we are and were perhaps, beyond force fed social/political propaganda ofthese days.
So GOOD to hear from you.

8 years ago I was addressing this in a “Who Wants Us To Die”

[There are tunnels ‘cross the world, there are secrets on the Moon
There’s a way to understand, to clear your brain and break the plan
There’s a truth across the Earth that can’t be undone]

I hadn’t started watching TV yet, in 2016 I got free cable and started discovering so much on youtube, much of which is now scrubbed.

The Internet is a real gift and a curse to humanity. A tool to free our imprisoned minds and yet imprison us through propaganda and mis direction.
            – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
            >>Not sure when this wickedness began? I do know that fear and force are behind it. The religions of the world enforce submission to it..>>

I regularly watch Jon Levi, Jarid Boosters, Michelle Gibson, and others who have a lot of evidence, and smart opinion/insight about the Mud Flood and restarting/reset of civilization somewhere in the mid 1800’s.

A time of horse and buggy reality yet monlithic buildings of a similar style being built world wide without internal combustion vehicles to move construction material, no power tools, etc.???

Much of it linked to the lost history of Tartaria.
            – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Never heard of the Moon, light towers before. Excellent research and harvesting of photographic evidence. Stolen History is a good site.

I saved the Dark Earth Chronicles link. A wealth of good stuff hey? One of my first truly alternative sites is:

            >>I agree with you that we have been controlled by the wicked for many generations.>>

As do millions across the world, I believe there was at one time, a much higher level of consciousness, association in humanity as evidenced by the common construction designs world wide of building that look like our “White House,” the 3 styles of columns, use of obelisks, and so much more.

WHO WANTS US TO DIE (song)

            • Wow a Kindred spirit.

Thanks for the links and encouragement. I encourage you to not loose your hope as well.

Surely our place of habitation is as imperfect as us.

I think you will enjoy the wealth of discovery at stolen history. And the Dark Earth chronicles are long and require some deep consideration. I am on part 2.5 now.

              Thanks Again

              • >>Wow a Kindred spirit.>>

                >>Thanks for the links and encouragement. I encourage you to not loose your hope as well.>> …lose (verb) :-))

It was important back then as we were all waking up to the understanding that life was/is far grander and complex then few had imagined.

I stay away from all the pop culture yuppie nonsense about interpreting what was going on then, they weren’t there, they are just word spinning what they think it might have been. Just like so many of the Internet “gurus.”

So little fear and so much freedom for a short time that has lasted all these years. The summer of love is gone but many of us still have its tan 🙂

I was browsing Stolen History a few years or so ago. Got kicked off because I didn’t understand the “rules” and such. Just not a social media sort of guy. I only comment here for about 8 years or so now.

If you care to, visit my BitChute site and read some of the essays and check out some of the songs. The thumb nails were carefully picked out to stimulate interest.

                My best to you…
                EJ’S BITCHUTE

              • @ejdooyle

Wow I am eternally grateful. I thought I was the only one. Now I know there are two of us.

Just started looking at your bitchute.

I only have a 9th grade programming. Started my first cabinet shop at 16 years old. Spelling and grammar are not my fine points. I prefer to just fix broken things. I have made many dreams come true with my excellent work.

thanks for talking some of your time to share your perspective of life with me.

                This is me too!

  7. I expect that Provocateurs were hired in Ireland (like they were on Jan 6th in D.C.) to cause destruction and thus make the case for less freedom. Legitimate Protests are often deliberately misreported as we saw with the Canadian Trucker Protest.
The Oligarchs pull strings to get their puppets to create a problem which they already have a solution for which allows them to take even more control.
The fact of the mater is that all Elected Officials are not bad, yet nearly every government has been corrupted by Money, Blackmail, or whatever works to accomplish an agenda set by the Oligarchs.
How do People shield themselves from the power of unlimited Money creation by evil Oligarchs seeking to control the world?
Well, I think it starts with Honest Money.
Bitcoin was good for a while, In fact so good that the Government couldn’t leave it be, so they found a way to control the Exchanges (KYC) and from there they are able to track every purchase made.
Yep, it is a game of wack-a -mole, whereby great ideas are crushed when they challenge the power structure of the Oligarchs, but we just have to keep coming up with better ideas until there are too many for them to crush.
What should Money be backed by?
I will note that the Republic of the United States would never have gotten off the ground without Honest Money, and this was done in 1792 by weighing 1000 of the most excepted Silver Coins and dividing by 1000 to get 371.25 Grains, and thus defining The U.S. Dollar as such. Silver Certificates were then issued with 100% backing and could be redeemed for Silver at any Bank. When you look at the shit we call “Money” today, it is a wonder how the house of cards is still standing.
My banker friend told me it is held together by trust. I say it is held together by lies and deceit.
Thus, The Truth is a Threat to it.

    • TS
“My banker friend told me it is held together by trust. I say it is held together by lies and deceit.
Thus, The Truth is a Threat to it.”

and/but how about: The value of money is based on stolen faith. (as are organized religions).

Humans are trust. Not trust in some”thing”, but the very force which leads to decision and action. I think trust is our trunk from which all else branches and blooms

what boggles is how wildly corrupted peoples actions can be, driven remotely (because of stollen faith) as light or demonic levels of greed, and they seem to get away with it?

they continue in their sleep-sprint, to fuck-up another day. somehow the remaining humans take the force of the blow, and the can keeps kickin’ down the road.

How can people act hypocritically hooning around in zehr lear bugz, and get called out on it,, yet still trundle on? must be they’re buds with whomever holds the biggest gun?

  8. Story #2: COP28 UN Climate Summit To Officially Target Meat Eating

Looking at the increase in COP28 Puppets from 25,000 to 72,000 just goes to show you what kind support Money can buy. Many of these people “Trust” in a Monetary System backed by Lies and Deceit. Is it too early in the game to call them Useful Idiots?

  9. WoW, is it NWNW #1853 already? How time flies.
Great to see and hear from Yous again with another myth-busting episode.
    Thanks J+J 😉

  10. Another data point that illuminates the fallacies of the whole ‘anthropogenic CO-2 emissions are evil and the cause of all things unpleasant’ ‘climate change’ propaganda.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐰:

“Almost no one is aware that the Great Barrier Reef has had two bumper years of record high coral cover. The excellent results of 2022 were repeated in 2023, showing that the grand recovery of the corals, after years of bleaching, was no fluke result.

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest reef system in the world, stretching 2,300 kilometers, and including about 10% of the worlds corals1. But despite mankind producing one trillion tons of carbon emissions the coral is healthier than it has ever been in last 37 years of detailed surveys.

Back in 1986 when the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) started doing intensive underwater surveys, atmospheric CO2 levels were only 347ppm, far below the supposedly deadly levels of 420ppm recorded today. Yet despite humans producing more than half of all the emissions we have ever produced, the Great Barrier Reef is in great condition.

Where are the mainstream environmentalists and the institutions of science?

The secret “record high” levels also reveals so much more. The mainstream environmentalists that say they care about the reef don’t seem the slightest bit excited. They haven’t admitted they were wrong, changed tack, or shifted emphasis. There have been no parties to celebrate the power of nature.

The institutions that are paid to monitor marine parks don’t seem to want to report good news. The latest results were not even described as a record high by AIMS but merely as a “pause in recent coral recovery”, almost as if AIMS doesn’t want people to realize how well”

    • Ever heard of Cap Allon from Portugal? He is constantly moving to a new website.

He is all over this like Peter D Clack who was deleted from X for the truth. Here is Peter Clack’s name mentioned in COP 27 Page 25

They are working hard on this scam it is the next LOCKDOWN.

      You cant make this up!

      • @Newname

No but I appreciate the links and will check them out when I have time.

        • If you use ctrl+f you will find Peter D Clack mentioned 5 times in the COP 27 pdf

    • Gavin,
your link to the reef growth article was timely, thankyou.

funny its coming from canada while Im sitting here not far from the reef.

The kids here are being whipped into activism frenzy, all about the climate. The carrot is: “skip school and have a rage through town,,” they love the sport of their indoctrination. more stollen faith. disgusting manipulation.

      • @vadoum

        You are welcome.

Thanks for your description of the situation with the youth over there.

Here the youth are being conditioned to become EV cheerleaders and hate on fossil fuels but more than that the youth seem to be getting conditioned, first and foremost, to become life-long big pharma addicts and to develop a sort of Stockholm syndrome type relationship with their mental slavers to become dependent on the government to tell them what is true and what is not.

Check out these creepy 1984 thought police style propaganda ads the Ontario government is pushing onto streaming platforms. They command people to:
“𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 ‘𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀’ 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 ‘𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀’..”

(suggesting people should go to some government website at the end or a pharmacist implying those two places are the only place one can get “answers”)

They focus on telling people not to go down the so called “internet rabbit hole” and then suggest that a pharmacist or government website is the only source of truth one can trust.

I feel for the kids being born into/raised in families now that are plugged into all this brainwashing and with parents buying into all the biomedical technocratic police state and climate change alarmist propaganda that our puppet government is attempting to normalize.

I also feel disgusted when I observe that kind of abuse and conditioning, but then I get outa of town, turn off the smart devices and go for a walk in the forest or work in the garden, and suddenly I feel a lot less disgusted and a lot more inspired and hopeful.

        Thanks for the comment.

  11. Story #3
“Popular Science” used to be a good magazine. Note that they began printing in 1872.
However, after the Events of 9/11/01 they to went hell in a hand basket, as did many formally trusted publications. I think that the Planners of “The New American Century” were out to control the Narrative like it had never been controlled.

On the other hand, back in 1909 J.P. Morgan found that he could control the opinion of most Americans (or at least enough to control an Election) by purchasing Censorship Rights to 25 major News Papers. Without this Censorship the Bankers would not have been able to get Wilson Elected in 1912 and thus the Federal Reserve Act passed into law in 1913.
I guess the moral of the story is that Corporations can be bought out, even the good ones.

    • And since the US is now a Corporation, it’s been bought by the globalists.

  12. Great episode guys.

Speaking of biometric tyranny, I was tryna start shifting things around in preparation to get rid of a mainstream institution bank account I started way back in the day (I am switching to a local credit union) and in order to sign into my account the customer service person kept tryna pressure me to consent to allowing my voice to be recorded so that my identity can be confirmed via voice biometrics.

I had to say no thanks three times, and this lady kept tryna tell me how much ‘safer’ and ‘more effective’ it would be than using passwords and security questions.

I wonder how long until they just make biometric identification mandatory and those who refuse are shut out of their accounts…

    • Unless we win the narrative it will be sooner than you think.

      The plandemic was just practice.

  13. Many people do not know of the new scam called ‘debt for nature swap’.

Planned by the plutocrats under the guise of helping ‘developing countries’ alleviate their debt, these ‘swaps’ are another part of the financial capitalism scam.

According to the financial elites and their ‘corporate bulletins’, called corporate media, who are swooning with praise for this new, horrific carny act, it will save countries and the environment.

Here is what we are told are the benefits:

“If implemented correctly, the practice can provide a “triple-win” mechanism that can:

“Remove financial pressures on a country
    Reduce pressures on natural resources
Provide avenues for sustainable livelihood provisions through things like providing jobs in conservation and developing eco-tourism.”

They estimate that they have the potential to swap $12-15 billion dollars, which would allow the conversion of 11-13% of the Earth’s current unprotected priority areas into protected areas, particularly bioregions such as grasslands, freshwater, and deserts.

However, the authors acknowledge that maximizing the potential of such an arrangement requires a clearer understanding of costs, local capacity, and political willingness among creditors and debtors.”

The ‘they’ are the middlemen, the hucksters and hustlers for this ecological and financial disaster.

    Even the article mentioned that:

“While debt-for-nature swaps have shown promise as a tool for promoting environmental conservation and addressing unsustainable debt, there are also several challenges associated with these agreements. One major issue is the potential for “greenwashing” – that is, using the swaps as a way to project a positive image without actually making significant conservation efforts.

There is a risk that the funds could be misused or diverted for other purposes, undermining the potential benefits of the swaps.

For instance, as mentioned in a piece by the Geographical, intermediaries such as insurers, consultants, and credit providers may receive a significant share of the funds, raising questions about the actual impact of these swaps on conservation efforts” (ibid).

Greenwashing, intermediary financial fees, banks, consultants and more eat all the monies that countries are to put aside for ‘ecology’.

  14. Debt for Nature Swap Part Two

Take Belize where this recently happened.

How the Belize debt-for-nature swap worked

Debt-for-nature swaps involve restructuring sovereign debt in exchange for debtors’ investment in nature conservation. They promise a win-win for economies and the environment by playing a clever game. The series of transactions is easiest to understand in reverse order.

As the final step, investors buy Belize’s restructured debt in the form of de-risked “blue bonds” (so named because they are related to marine conservation).

Before that, the US International Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) de-risks the previously unattractive blue bonds (making them more saleable to investors) by insuring them. In other words: if Belize fails to pay up, the US government will step in.

The Belize Blue Investment Company (BBIC)—an entity of The Nature Conservancy—and Credit Suisse issue the blue bonds to pass along Belize’s unappealing debt, which they hold, to diverse new owners.

BBIC and Credit Suisse hold Belize’s debt to begin with because of an arrangement to loan Belize US$364 million, conditional on new commitments to invest in marine ecosystems. Belize uses this loan to buy back a pricey ‘superbond’ it has issued.

Belize is able to buy its $553 million superbond at a steep discount because the original investors are persuaded to take only 55 cents on the dollar for it, likely in order to boost their own green credentials.

Why the deal was so costly

Briefly, then, Belize owes BBIC/Credit Suisse less than it owed its original investors, and BBIC/Credit Suisse owe the holders of the new blue bonds. The cleverness of this financial finessing comes at an eye-watering price: while the total cost of this series of transactions was originally disclosed at $10 million, it was ultimately closer to $85 million.

This $85 million—the discrepancy between the quantity Belize will pay to service its loan and what Credit Suisse will ultimately return to investors in the blue bonds—covers myriad costs and profit margins, like Credit Suisse’s cut, insurance premiums to the IDFC and private-sector reinsurers, and Belize’s interest payments.

The financial capitalists sacked the country through another phony ‘financial product’.

  15. Hi, Thank you! I received my hoodie package yet of the one of the 2 i could afford to order, I was mistakenly sent the other. I did a reply email to one sent by you guys to me. I hope this all can be worked out. To attract possible new friends / community and not just to plant seeds, it is important to me. Thx

  16. IMPORTANT subtle shifts in culture.
    We all better take notes…

    James Corbett says:
The concept of MEDIA itself is changing…
    …the transition to the post-literate society…
…it will have HUGE and profound ramifications on civilization itself….

    • On that MEDIA topic…

      – Trend in video advertisements –
I have been watching the trend with the marketing message delivery and substance of video advertisements.
Their texture has been slowly changing in how they deliver the message.

It is almost as if the ads are designed for simpletons (by simpletons).

I could say more, but will leave it there.

      • HomeRemedySupply

I very rarely find great pride in my southern neighborhood. I can’t imagine the literacy of these crowds in Texas that came out on this day. It’s really immaterial. They are in lock step and and have overcame the propaganda.
Since I have no TV I suppose the MSM swept this quietly under the rug.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m mighty proud a Texas today.

Yes we all should take note.

        • This is how it’s done in a Zionist, woke city. The differences are appreciated and apparent. Culture?
          Zionist run this town.
The date of this , old, unknown, but the culture is timeless.
I can’t make heads or tails
          [tales] of this.
          Who is storyful-viral?

It came into my attention after posting the above Texas protest.

        • That first very short video of the Austin street is really cool!
They did a great job of messenging with that short video.
Great crowd!…with Cowboys and Palestinians, cadence and “Free, Free, Free Palestine”!

  17. >Riots erupted in Dublin on Thursday after children were stabbed outside a school amid rumors that the assailant is a foreign national, according to Raidió Teilifís Éireann, Ireland’s public media outlet.
    >The violence began when a man approached children outside a school and began stabbing them, leaving a 5-year-old girl and a woman in her 30s with serious injuries.
    >violence spread across the city as rumors spread that the assailant is an immigrant

    >Police would not comment on the identity or nationality of the detained man.

    >facial recognition
    >being used to deport people
    >when they import record numbers

Not going to be a thing

    >Police are treating ‘Irish lives matter’ graffiti which has appeared in west Belfast as a ‘hate incident’

    >“This needs to be rooted out of society once and for all. The credibility of law enforcement in this country is now called into major question on whether we give society over to these gurriers. This has to be stopped,” Cllr Teskey insisted.

    >“Our Gardaí need the full support of the people of this country, for which the majority, I do believe [citation needed], reflect their support for them. But something has to change here at the top…The morale of Gardaí is at an all-time low and, when you have over 99 per cent voting no confidence in the Commissioner, questions need to be asked”

Probably because they were all annoyed at the dastardly far right and just the sheer UNWILLINGNESS of people in positions of power to condemn them. I mean you never even hear the topic addressed

    >Party colleague and Cathaoirleach of LCCC’s Metropolitan District, Cllr Azad Talukder, called for more severe forms of public punishment to deal with the riot’s perpetrators.

    >“I strongly believe that this is not the face of Ireland. This is just some criminals looting the shops. I don’t think they follow any ideological purpose. They come to the streets and just rob. They should get punishment.

    >“Not even an animal does these kind of thing. It is very shameful and they should get public punishment.

    >“I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,” Cllr Talukder told council members.

Lets be real here people. There is no “right” in western government
