Last week, in “The Strange Story of Peter Thiel,” I examined Thiel’s history, from his upbringing in a globe-trotting family to his years at Stanford to the formation of the “Thielverse” to the creation of Palantir.
As you’ll recall from that exploration, by the time disgraced Admiral John Poindexter introduced Thiel (and his creepy Big Brother / Big Data surveillance company, Palantir Technologies) to the US intelligence community, Thiel was a full-fledged deep state actor, amassing power and influence in line with his billions of dollars of wealth.
But as incredible as that meteoric rise to riches and power was, it’s only the very beginning of a decades-long journey through citizenship shopping and shadow presidencies and war profiteering.
This is the continuation of The Strange Story of Peter Thiel.
I suppose it’s not unusual for an author to come to a particular subject with a preconceived opinion, and then fashion an article, using sources that support that opinion. I have no particular thoughts on Peter Theil, one way or another, but just for the heck of it, decided to actually click on some of the links in the above article. Hmmm…The New Zealand Herald, The World.org, Slate, WAPO, Bloomberg, Mashable, Yahoo, Politico. I stopped there, and was thankful that this article was not about a particular treatment for a particular virus, as, using the sources cited here, I would be led to believe that a treatment was ‘safe and effective’.
MSM’s – and now yours – most dangerous weapon is to confuse opinions with facts. Where did you find opinions in Corbett’s article?
I clicked on the myriad of links that Corbett provided in the article, and was quite surprised to find that the majority were MSM, as I stated in my comment above.
That’s pretty much the case with may of his articles, so I’m surprised that you are surprised.
The Oct 2022 How Palantir Conquered the World https://corbettreport.com/how-palantir-conquered-the-world/ combined with the Peter Thiel series is fascinating.
In Part 1 The Strange Story of Peter Thiel https://corbettreport.com/the-strange-story-of-peter-thiel/ , Corbett’s description of Peter Thiel’s early life etched in my brain.
I got the concept.
The description could fill a lot of boxes on the Hare Psychopathy Checklist.

Corbett QUOTE:
…Thiel was by all accounts an aloof, haughty, arrogant child. He was a Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast, a Lord of the Rings obsessive and a chess wunderkind who displayed no sense of humour, never smiled, had no close friends and was, perhaps unsurprisingly, relentlessly bullied and teased by classmates. He was, however, possessed of a sense of his own greatness—he signed his classmates’ school yearbooks with the encouraging taunt, “Maybe you’ll come within one point of me next year”—and demonstrated early on that he was willing to break whatever rules need to be broken in the pursuit of money, even if it meant putting his own future in jeopardy. One of his high school classmates asserts that, after securing a spot at Stanford University, Thiel offered to take younger students’ SAT tests for them at a cost of $500 per test provided they could find a way to “arrange untraceable payments,” a scheme that could have cost Thiel his own spot at Stanford were it discovered.
Entering Stanford in the fall of 1985, Thiel continued his high school patterns. When he received a 4.0 GPA in his first term, he made a beeline for the only other 4.0 student he knew and proceeded to argue with him for ten minutes about why his own 4.0 was “better” than his classmate’s 4.0 because Thiel had received more A+ grades….
In Part 2, Corbett writes:
”For one thing, he backed Harriet Hageman, the Trump-endorsed Wyoming congressional candidate who unseated Liz Cheney in that state’s 2022 Republican primary.”
I recognized that name, Harriet Hageman.
Hageman Introduces Bill to Block Mandatory EID Ear Tags – PRESS RELEASE
https://corbettreport.com/toothbrushes/#comment-170066
EXCERPTS from the Press Release (above)
“A rule requiring electronic ear tags for cattle and bison means the government will know where every animal is and who owns it,”
said Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY).
“This will allow the government to build a registry, which is the first step needed to ban cattle in accordance with the Left’s anti-agriculture climate policies. Congress should stand up for American farmers and ranchers by blocking the electronic ear tag rule.”
The Press Release talks about Ireland implementing the EID, then culling 41,000 cattle eighteen months later because of climate change.
Kinda funny :
Thiel: “Yes, fellow republicans, it’s unfortunate that Trump is “sort of symptomatic of everything that is wrong with New York City”, but me and my boys are voting for him, ’cause I’ve got him by the pussy!!”
I need to go back to the first part and figure out about his family and where his money came from originally.
Don’t matter how much you got. If it didn’t come from the right quarter, you ain’t in the game.
Interesting story of this Mordor wannabe creature wanting to be Sauron, being used by the powers that shouldn’t be..
Placing his Grimas everywhere apparently.
Hmm..”we’ll penetrate the government”…, where did I hear that before? Clear orders.
I truly wonder what his favorite character is from LOTR, who he identifies himself with. And who he had a crush on.

Okay. Okay. “Republicans Rubbing You the Wrong Way.” – I’m giving you the punch line before the weave.
Reid Hoffman
Refer to Corbett’s Peter Thiel Pt 1. You will see a graphic and the mafia photo.
James Corbett writes:
“~~ the aforementioned Keith Rabois, who, after engaging in the infamous “faggot” protest at Otero House, became an executive vice president at PayPal before going on to work at LinkedIn for fellow Thielverse associate Reid Hoffman and making a fortune investing in YouTube, Lyft, Airbnb and other Thielverse-adjacent startups;
~~ the above-named Reid Hoffman (the rotund gentleman with one too many buttons unbuttoned in the middle background of the infamous mafia photo), who first introduced Thiel to Mark Zuckerberg, founded LinkedIn, made a fortune investing in companies like Airbnb, sat on the advisory council of the MIT Media Lab and, not coincidentally, spent time on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island;

Reid Hoffman, billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn and independent director on Microsoft’s board, appears to have donated a substantial amount of money to the “Progress Action Fund” — a PAC led by a far-left activist and former Obama administration alumnus. PAF pushed out one of the cringiest pro-pornographic political ads to drum up support from chronic masturbators for Kamala Harris…
…Here’s the original report from X user Collin Rugg:
NEW: Democrat groups release an ad of a young man m*sturbating in an effort to get people to vote for Kamala Harris.
The Democratic Party: The party of abortion and p*rn addicts.
Progress Action Fund and Defend the Vote have released a $2.5 million ad campaign with the 30-second ad. The ad was called “Republicans Rubbing You the Wrong Way,” with an actor playing a Republican congressman watching the young man rub one out.
The ad campaign is being displayed on streaming services in all seven swing states.…

How large is 477 acres? It’s pretty freaking big. I bet it’s larger than Epstein’s island.

“Biden’s Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, is, it turns out, not only a drone-killer and torture-cover-upper but a former Palantir advisor—an affiliation that was scrubbed from her biography as soon as it became public knowledge.”
Yes this woman does really get around!
Yet another coinkydink. Avril Haines just so happened to be one of the Event 201 pandemic tabletop exercise ‘players’.
And yet another coinkydink, Dr. Stephen C. Redd another ‘player’ in the Event 201 pandemic tabletop exercise, could be seen wearing his ‘medaled’ military suit standing directly behind President Trump during at least one of Trump’s numerous Covid photo ops in 2020.
What a small world it is.
Damn!
This is damning stuff.
Thanks Fawlty Towers for putting this on the historical record.

A random question – does anyone have fictional book recommendations for interesting relaxing reading. I was just about to buy one set in WW2 and thought – how much nonsense propaganda will there be in this book? We just don’t know anymore and it seems to get into everywhere. Any book recommendations with well rounded viewpoints I would appreciate. TIA
My first thought is the Patrick O’Brian series of nautical stories of the British navy. The first book, Master And Commander was made into a movie starring Russell Crowe.
I think that there are 26 books in total. I have the whole series and have read them all more than once.
I guarantee that if you like action filled, engaging adventure stories with lots of interesting characters and intriguing side plots, you’ll be caught up and enjoy the series.
Its must reading for sailors and I think better than the Horacio Hornblower books.
They will certainly be a safe and reliable distraction from today’s madness.
Some months ago, this is what Corbett Member ‘mkey’ said,
“I’ll exhort everyone to read the mentioned State of Fear novel by Michael Crichton, it’s a riveting thriller, it practically reads itself.”

Eeeeh, not sure if this will meet the “relaxing reading” requirement. Not very relaxing, until the very end. But it makes up in the “interesting” and “well rounded viewpoints” departments. Has the unfortunate side effect of leaving you in a thinking state.
Much like Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged and 1984. Stated order matching the decline in relaxing effect the book has on the reader. The latter being described as a “dictionary with context” by Mel from TSM, a definition that has the capability of altering one’s viewpoint on the book.
