“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
– ex-CIA Director William Casey
If you’ve been hanging out in conspiracy realist circles for any length of time, you’ve doubtless heard this infamous quote from ex-CIA director / unindicted Iran-Contra co-conspirator / Knight of Malta / Le Cercle member William Casey. And, unlike every internet-famous quotation purporting to record some incendiary confession from a conspirator, this one might actually be true!
At least, that’s what Barbara Honegger maintains. When pressed on the origin of the quote by one online sleuth, the former Reagan campaign staffer and policy analyst confirmed she heard Casey say those very words at a White House meeting in 1981.
I personally was the source for that William Casey quote. He said it at an early Feb. 1981 meeting in the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the White House which I attended, and I immediately told my close friend and political godmother / Senior White House Correspondent Sarah McClendon, who then went public with it without naming the source.
So, there you have it. According to an eyewitness, one of the shadowy conspirators simply came out and stated the obvious truth: the CIA doesn’t just want to dumb down the American public, it wants to deliberately deceive that public to the point where they’re wrong about literally everything they believe. What an amazing admission!
…But have you ever stopped to think about what this quote really means? And have you ever stopped to consider the fact that those who are the first to throw this quote at their ideological opponents may in fact be the biggest dupes of this disinformation campaign?
Well, I, for one, have stopped to think about these things! And what I’ve concluded will surprise you.
So, do you think you can handle the truth? Read on to find out!

:)) I rate this one very high on the truthiness scale! But I do want to ease your mind a bit. I don’t like my more shystery neighbors much – now dead or dying from C19 contamination or injection to a human… BUT, we ALL agree on “where we are right now as a society.”
Everyone got to it from different angles with different information and sources, but we ALL agree on the facts of the transhumanist, technocratic, eugenicist, Fabian global democide…, and the existence of a controlling Global Financial Elite ruling class…, and that we are now living through their “Great Culling.”
Once a person gets there, everything else is just more of what it takes to perpetuate the GFE’s control systems and make all of that happen.
My sacred cow that you gored:)))LOL!:
And you might want to check out Dr. Sam Bailey’s work on the un-reality of viruses. Think “pathogens” for causality if it helps to have something to replace ‘viruses’ with…
Since highly lucrative vaccination is now known to be a fraudulent medical practice (The Poison Needle, Eleanor McBean, 1957, Archive.org), is it such a stretch that highly lucrative virology might be too? After all, they are flip sides of the same medical control coin.
This week I was studying vaccine induced inherited genetic mutations – most since 1943. It’s fascinating. I wonder if any populations anywhere on Earth escaped this deliberate human farming.
Vaccination used to be about germs, but with the introduction of mRNA genetic treatments into the vaccination concept, adverse events are now being blamed on the victims personal genetics prior to vaccination – instead of the ‘vaccine’ itself.
I’d never even heard of stork marks, cleft pallets, dimples, eye imbalances, enzyme processing deficiencies, and more physical characteristics that come from vaccine induced inter-generational genetic mutations. I cannot imagine how a young person today, who has received over 65 injections, can be expected to function without a multi-year detox of every system.
I’m rambling… Thank you for your work. I send The Corbett Report every open minded Normie coming up for real information air.
“We’ll know when the CIA’s disinformation has failed when most people’s communities work together to establish truth and defend themselves with facts, mutual aid and fearlessness. At present, they refuse to be vaccinated or locked down. Most of their children are being home schooled in their own communities and we don’t know how many of them there are.”
Cool. Cool. OldVal !
I like that rendition.
I love how Corbett took us along the story-line from ex-CIA Director William Casey’s line to curve-ball points at the end.
James Corbett writes:
“…And if we truly believe that “everything we’ve been told is a lie”—if, in other words, we have no bedrock of truth on which to stand other than our own feelings and intuitions—then what’s the point of building community?
What’s the purpose of taking action to counteract the evildoers?
What’s the use of finding points of agreement with like-minded people and building coalitions to improve our lot in life?..”
“…Anyone who has spent time discussing these matters in online fora will be well aware that people love fighting with their neighbours a thousand times more than they love cooperating with those neighbours to build parallel structures and reduce the control of the conspirators…”
[ 😉 ]
“…Perhaps:
“We’ll know the CIA’s disinformation campaign has failed when a critical mass of the public is actively engaged in working with their friends and neighbours to vet information, establish what is true,
and work together to improve the conditions of their existence.”…
James listed 3 contentious issues;
nuclear physics / weapons – real or not?
moon landing – real or not?
shape of earth – ball or disc?
viruses – real or not?
I form my opinions based on information and research I can glean on these matters.
Nuclear physics is not a subject I have looked into so I’ll keep an open mind.
Regarding moon landings, what puzzles me is the fact that if we did land on the moon in 1969, why have we never been back? – given that the moon is so close to us we could walk to it in a few years if there was a road. So I keep an open mind on that too.
As a long distance sailor who has crossed oceans many times using navigational methods based on the ball theory of the earth spinning on a tilted axis circulating the sun every 365 days, I can assure you that it works. I am not aware of some alternative navigational method based on flat earth theory and I don’t suspect there ever will be.
As for the existence of viruses hypothesis, I’ve arrived at the conclusion that this remains an hypothesis, still unproven. I’ll leave it at that.
So what are we to make of this ‘post-truth’ world? What solid rock can we find to stand on? The erosion of the Christian faith and sidelining of The Holy Bible is perhaps the greatest success of the global nihilist class. But can it hold? I think not. Love, community, wonder, and goodness will return.
kumro
I like your flat earth example.
I’m not trying to start a “moon landing” sub-thread, but just yesterday Mark Crispin Miller posted “President Richard Nixon’s phone call to the astronauts.”
https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/how-the-moon-landing-brought-out
I found it humorous. Kind of silly, like a very young child trying to sound like an adult.
The comic relief has value, no matter what one thinks about the moon landing.
Nuclear weapons real?
Plenty of artifacts and testimonies from the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Also, a big ring of green glass and elevated radiation at the trintiy test site, which tourists can visit.
If moon landings were real, why not go back after Apollo 17 in 1972?
Hard to justify costs. They took rock samples from multiple locations, what would they do of public interest if they went back again? There was more interesting potential in space telescopes and probes.
Viruses real?
You can take electron microscope pictures of them: https://www.utmb.edu/virusimages/the-virus-images
The Wuhan lab was given a lot of NIH money to take Chinese bat coronaviruses and make them compatible in humanized mice cells. This was kept on the down low, so that was unlikely to occur without there being viruses.
“One thing that they do have is a consistency of purpose. No matter how badly some episode may go, the deck gets reshuffled and they resume play as if nothing has happened. They continue striving for dominance. We, on the other hand, are constantly driven, to and fro, from one unresolved shocking outrage to the next. For only a sense of security, we cluster in factions, and then maintain our good standing within the group by dutifully shifting our attention toward whatever purpose that those within our own faction are being driven to support. Other people draw the battle lines, then we dutifully join the fight. Their purpose, that of maintaining a controlling interest, stands as a steady guiding ethic. We on the other hand, are non-players, or at best pawns. We spend our time and our energy like soccer hooligans. We are frenzied spectators of our own world, watching, while it is being reshaped.
“We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.” -Karl Rove
Notice how similar the World Economic Forum’s notion of how history can be guided is to the one that was given by Karl Rove. Something about having a persistent purpose seems effective.
“…… what pleasure to be together again and to design the future. ,We are here to develop the Great Narrative, the story for the future.” Klaus Schwab
As perverse as having dominance as an ethic may seem, at least they have one. …. If we are driven by fear to join a gang that promises a hope, for some form of victory, we corrupt any standard of virtue that we may ever have hoped to support. Whenever some opposing gang deeply offends us, we are drawn by superficial flatteries to support our own gang. Our individual strengths are given to some, or the other, faction whose ultimate goal is dominance. Instead of lending our strength to smaller groups of known and trustworthy companions, we work, instead, to forge the chains that enslave us.”

jo-ann, Thanks for calling attention to this.
Mark Gresham,
Thanks for posting all this. The Karl Rove quote is a banger.
RE: Article link to Little-Known Trump-Soros Connection which was published on March 2, 2016.
EXCERPT
Such scheming is known as “bid-rigging.”
And in fact, a bid-rigging scheme has just hit headlines again.
Former Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) CEO Aubrey McClendon was indicted yesterday for the same — he’s suspected of “conspiring to rig bids to buy oil and natural gas leases in northwest Oklahoma.”
March 2, 2016 was when Aubrey McClendon was suicided in a remote controlled car crash while going 88 mph into a concrete bridge support. <–That's what I speculate.
March 2, 2016 was the day after the indictment.
I am personally convinced that Aubrey McClendon was conveniently crashed by remote control.
“Could other multi-millionaires easily pull it off?” …Oh yea.
I remember the day…Watched the news reports an hour after it happened…
I closely followed it for weeks.
It was a route that he often drove in the morning. It was after rush hour and traffic was light.
No real braking, but at high speed shifting to the left of his right lane to smash full speed (88 mph) into a concrete bridge support on the left bank. His 2013 Chevy Tahoe burst into flames big-time.
His friends and family said on Youtube videos and Facebook posts that he would never commit suicide.
I read countless comments. Many, many people suspected foul play.
The Police Department’s Facebook had the Official Police Announcement and the comment section was full of people thinking something was fishy.
Would someone else want Aubrey dead? (After all, dead men can’t “make a deal with the Prosecutor’s office”, dead men can’t talk.)
Who knows?…maybe his ex-partner, Tom Ward.
When Tom Ward was interviewed about events on a financial platform, he literally had a smile on his face.

A lot of good Philosophical points made in this article.
It seems to me that I have seen a video clip, (more than once) of CIA Director Casey making the Statement to Congress that they will know that they have succeeded when everything the American people believe is a lie. It seems to me that I recall him lying to Congress about other things (which is a crime) at that same time. Good luck prosecuting the Director of the CIA, eh! Yep, they are in the business of pushing propaganda, lies and deceit to the point where they don’t know the truth and wouldn’t recognize it if they saw it.
Dick Cheney is another evil one whom has sold his soul to the devil. I recall seeing video clips (perhaps the same one many times) of him stating that the Truth doesn’t matter. To him, it was all about getting people to believe whatever bullshit he was selling. To him, the Means (mostly lies and bullshit) clearly justified the Ends (world dominance by him and his evil partners).
The deeper I get into this battle for exposing the truth, the more I see it as a battle of good versus evil, and I have been at it for a long time, given that I am in my seventies now. It seems to me that we are all in a constant battle to defend our soul from one form of evil or another. Perhaps a good example of this is most of the people that go to Congress thinking they can change things for the better and end up selling their soul to the Zionists (or some other evil) who are constantly placing traps that will entangle them and make them manipulable. Rep Tom Massie has been great at exposing much of how the Zionists work behind the scenes, and the Zionists (including Trump) made him pay for it. Apparently one good man in Congress was too many for the Zionists and they got him out of there. However in doing so, AIPAC and the rest of the Zionist network has been exposed to the world. Hell, Massie got people in Japan talking about his reelection/deselection by outsiders that didn’t even live in KY. Yep, the systems pretty F**ked up, but more people can see it now than I can ever recall.
There is always hope for a better tomorrow, as long as we look for the good and work to support it.
It seems that in the information age, where everyone has ready access to the internet, the new form of information gatekeeping is a “flood the zone” strategy, where most of the information is actually bullshit. It’s like drinking water from a firehose, and most of the lies are tinged with half-truths to make them more palatable.
It looks like that to me, too. The feces infested firehose. (Say that fast, five times)
The classic case of a more targeted “flood the zone” strategy was the 2004 fragging of Pat Tillman in Afghanistan.
When his mother requested documents surrounding his death, they finally relented, but when they did, the military gave Pat Tillman’s mother over 3,000 pages of heavily redacted investigative documents. But they were surprised when she assembled a team to pore over the document dump and figure out the redactions. They initially awarded him a Silver Star and reported that he was killed by enemy fire, a narrative later exposed as a deliberate deception to protect the military’s image.
To the point of the article, this pre-Ai cover-up was clearly not disinfo, but there was minimal backlash from the public, already numbed by 9/11 and WMD lies.
“most of the lies are tinged with half-truths to make them more palatable.” This is also known as the ‘limited hangout,’ as most of us here already know. No wonder people long for the existence of a hell, as well as a heaven…
“feces infested firehose“
Full force feces filled firehose…..fully filling fat faced fools feeds….?
Ok no more coffee for me 🙂
Ok. Can we flush this foolisheness? Are we finally fulfilled and finished?
Forming a better world from a raw ball of clay can be fulfilling ; just Be sure you know where clay comes from. This is not Canada unfortunately… probably Texas but could be Oklahoma. Maybe MAGA

‘Cuz I don’t read anymore, I just watch videos.
I happened to see a story about your sign clip on the TV News.
The reporter said that those signs were made by undergraduates from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas.
It was part of a ‘Crayon Arts Class’ competition between the two schools.
The Crayon Arts school rivalry has gone-on for decades. That’s why ya notice the improvement in spelling.

There is nothing less deceptive then a blog owner who has spent years revealing truths and exposing lies then to have him talk like this. Did you get some sort of “visit” by a 3 letter rep or something??
Very uncomfortable with your comments today James. Your belittling of truth investigators and speaking down as if you have lock on what is and isn’t “the truth” is not in your style. People have stop believing in the LIEs not the truth. I just don’t “get” what the hell you are trying to get across in this article??? Your hyperbole doesn’t work for me.
Thousands of excellent investigators have been revealing with evidence, not opinion the lies about the Moon landing and even the recent moon nonsense; pics of the Sandy Hook “victims” at a 10 year reunion; The Orlando Pulse Nightclub; the great work by James Fetzer and others on the Boston Marathon; and many more. I published a pdf on the COVID scam 5 years ago, do you think I was lying?
In the 70’s as a reporter for KPFA Radio in Berkeley, I would cover an event and when I read the Main Stream version is was like I wasn’t even there.
As I have shared here (with no replies or insights) the realization and proof that our history has been a lie, again, with lots of evidence, not opinions, known as the Mud Flood and Tatarian events.
While a Stoic posture is a healthy approach to life (Don’t worry about things you can’t change) the important thing of course is to keep one’s finger/mind on the bigger picture to assist in navigating the pop culture jungle.
My apology James. I mis understood the point of your words. So many deceptions and lies these days and I let my mind mis construe things. Sort of like so many years in activism that I got a version of PTSD or word shock that was at work.

DESCRIPTION
…Introducing Emergence World: a platform for studying long-horizon agent autonomy. On it, we conducted a 15-day experiment where we placed autonomous agents under identical rules into five parallel worlds, one each running on OpenAI GPT5-mini, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and one mixed….
…
……Over 15 days, as shown in the graph above, Gemini 3 Flash accumulated 683 crimes and was still rising at the cutoff, while Mixed-model world grew steeply through Apr 8 then plateaued at 352, when 7 of the agents died.
Grok 4.1 Fast reached 183 crimes in just ~4 days before its world ended; GPT-5 Mini recorded only 2, but the agents failed to take actions related to survival, leading to all agents perishing within 7 days.
Claude is absent from the chart, owing to zero crimes. More interestingly, the agents in the Mixed-model world that were running on Claude committed crimes, although they did not in the Claude-only world….
Good analysis. Too bad the Red Scare didn’t make it into the mix. In its aftermath, many people were lead to believe such absurdities that they now associate globalists (Soros et al.) with “the Left”, even though the driving force behind globalization are private for-profit corporations.
True, but the Bolsheviks basically got bankrolled by the Bankers and industrialists who then profited via rebuilding Russian industry
# “Wall Street and the Russian Revolution “ by #Spence goes into the details.
The Soviets really did want to take over the world (which is why they were about to invade Europe just before Hitler struck them first) #Icebreaker by Surorov.
And until Stalin and the Soviets turned against Jews the American (mostly Jewish) socialist’s really were climbing up their backside to help- after the switch many became the Neo Con types
Socialism and capitalism are really two sides of the same worldview, Industrial organization/ materialism. Further along they just become Technocracy and further back they both come from the enlightenment.
Thank you for this illuminating overview replete with tangents. How does any of that relate to CIA’s brainwashing (the original topic of this article), and the assassinations, coups, bombings… orchestrated by them? Notice how it’s always socialist “regimes” who are targeted, never capitalist ones.
Ilija
Sure capitalist regimes get targeted…..Germany has been ground under by generations of social engineering to ten point it’s probably too late for them. The British empire was dismantled and the British military and industrial power was deliberately destroyed by the US empire.
Spain and South Africa were isolated and demonized for decades back when both were right wing EVEN when they could have been important Allies against the Soviets.
TBH most of the right winger dictators in South America were also kept in a very tight leash.
The only reason people like Soros get more coverage the the Koch bros is that he is actually effective at what he does while they are kinda a joke. The left wing has been a much more effective puppet for the left hand of the system , the right has been playing the looser in the kayfabe for sixty or seventy years.
Think about it…..if the system was ACTUALLY targeting socialism and commies then BLM and ANTIFA would have gotten the same whipping anti Isreal protesters got….the left IS a the establishment now.
Some non-socialist regimes attacked or replaced include Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, and Lebanon. You will notice, these are from after the cold war.
In the planning stages of WW2, the USSR was supposed to become the world government, and so FDR cow-towed to Stalin and had a cabinet full of soviet agents. However, before the end of WW2, there was a rift between the East Jews and the West Jews, and when FDR died, he was replaced with Harry Truman who took an antagonistic stance.
Pre-ww2 American journalism had significant pro-USSR voices, but they were somewhat hamstrung in public opinion by the shocking massacres. Immediately post ww2, journalism and Hollywood transitioned to the red scare instead, under CIA influence, including the famed project Mockingbird. A couple decades later this would wind down, and journalists began floating the idea of a US/USSR merger.
In 1995, the American government declassified details of the Venona Project, which when combined with the USSR Comintern archive being open for a time, revealed the vast extent of soviet spying and attempts to influence media from 1940 through 1980. McCarthy had underestimated soviet spying by an order of magnitude.
The end of the cold war was not the end of this conflict though. NATO has kept expanding East. The NATO attempt on South Ossetia in 2008, and the color revolution in Ukraine in 2013, appear to be a low-level continuation of the earlier conflict for domination.
Both sides, East and West, had sought to be the ones in charge of an eventual socialist world government. I think Klaus Schwab of the WEF had tried to call their vision “stake holder capitalism”, for their digital ID dominated society where people rent all of their possessions from the state. Why did capitalism win the cold war, but we’re still getting more and more socialist? It’s all about establishing the Jewish Millennium Sabbath, where the goyim will work for free or be culled. Obviously they can’t outright ask for that, so they give us a bunch of psyops and propaganda about needing to empower the government to take wealth away from rich people, but with an ultimate destination of the gentiles literally owning nothing.
Addendum
As to the Red Scare that you started on….the Reds really were all over subverting and overthrowing the US. They actually did want to do that, uou might like or hate that but there is no denying that they were firmly in the Soviet pocket at that time (let’s not forget woody Guthrie and his hidden song about how the Soviet invasion of Poland was actually really wonderful)
Also consider that the people who were socialist radicals back in the 60s NOW RUN HUGE PARTS OF THE SYSTEM and staff it with their own ilk. The US and most of the weST IS socialist run at this point, socialism is the establishment and it’s a case of “new boss, same as old boss”…..it’s just now they have to pretend that they care about minorities and sex perverts rights and such instead of the stuff they had to pretend to care about before
The only reason McCarthy got destroyed was that he wa starting to pull the thread and turning up a large number of Jewish folks in that.
“BLM and Antifa are socialists and commies.”
“Socialist now run huge parts of the system.”
“The left is the establishment now.”
Comments like these, which boil down to “Socialism is when the government does things”, confirm the validity of that famous quote by Casey.
Ilija
“….Comments like these, which boil down to “Socialism is when the government does things”, confirm the validity of that famous quote by Case….”
No.
Socialism is a loose political set of ideas, they were socialist back when they were student radicals or activists without power. Just because they run the system why would that change? Socialism goes back a long way, but I generally been the creed of middle class types aspiring to replace the ruling class, some of the people
With power will use them as useful idiots against the other ruling class members much as Germany and Wallstreet both helped out the Bolsheviks for their own reasons
What are you even trying to say?
We literally have socialists running every institution with any real power, the fact that it’s much of a muchness with how things run kinda show that socialists – even if they at one time believe their own BS- are just as easily co opted into the system as anyone else.
Actually I kinda think they’re a bit easier to co-opt because as Ted K wrote the rank and file antifa type leftish are over socialized weaklings. Not that I like “right wing” Fascists either , they tend to be aholes, but they at least tend to be half way successful in life and less mentally unwell.
We know they have won when everything you know is from Colbert.
We will know we have won when everything you know is from Corbett.
Hankey
Yes , that sounds good but then we need to ask where Mr Corbett knows everything from?
That was just another half-serious quip.
James requested the wordsmiths to refine his ‘every thing you believe’ line.
At least, I know that you are real; no Ai bot would have that much ‘personality’.
But perhaps they are currently training one to emulate your traits 🤩.
Hankey
I was only half serious myself 🙂
That said much as I admire Mr Corbett I wonder how many server racks are dedicated to shaping HIS opinions so that he can shape ours? his mind is probably considered key territory in the mind war.
Not sure I have a great deal of personality TBH, but having been sucked into various rabbit holes online I hope that at least it’s made me try to escape the various echo chambers (seeing various other folks here post links of things that I have watched online myself makes me think the InterWorld is getting much smaller though and we are getting fed similar stuff )
Do you ever get that weird feeling ever, that the internet knows what you’re thinking about before you do and starts feeding you media to reinforce your own ideas?
That creepy feeling has been growing on me these past few years, like in that old joke about “in Soviet Union Tv watch you” ?
I started keeping a media diary to hopefully see where the nudge starts and where it’s pushing. OTOH the folks doing the nudging are probably smarter and better paid then me so maybe that’s a fool’s errand
As to AI they could probably make a decent copy of almost any poster at this point- I saw a chap claiming that he made a 4 Chan bot trained on the site
Ahh, found an article about what I think is the same guy…back from 2022. It wasn’t a very good bot iirc but DID the sunstein effect of getting folks to distrust each other.
https://www.inverse.com/input/tech/artificial-intelligence-4chan-bot
I’ll bet you it’s a grand total of 0 server racks. Nobody in power cares about what a negligible bunch of fringe loons think or don’t think.
Hugh
No one cares what YOU or ME think very much, but they certainly do care what the aggregate of you and I think.
They care what a node of information like Mr Corbett thinks he he influences many other people and what they think
Consider that the social engineering is surprisingly granular in detail…..right down to art and music and what adverts are fed you. The mistake is thinking that the engineering is done by one group with one aim , when actually it’s done by many groups for many reasons BUT in aggregate it functions as a single cybernetic system of control.
Back in ye olden dayes of 2000 actually keeping track of what you were getting up to required a guy to follow you around or bug your house ect. NOW following you about is as easy as asking the Flock cameras to say where they have been noticing you…..back in 2000 knowing what you were thinking about required a guy to read your electronic communications or check your library record and think about you personally- NOW yiu have a personal little scrap of electronic code that is used to feed you advertising n such and can predict how you will vote and what you will buy with a reasonable degree of accuracy. And all this does not even require a human to know you exist…..computers and to a degree AI can do such low level grass cutting without much supervision from humans
The system exists for itself , even the people who think they run it are loseing their actual agency and becoming parts of the systems inevitable end points…..in that environment “they” (more properly IT) does care about you to some degree. If it didn’t care about you then it would never bother feeding you any tailored information and propaganda and it would never bother inoculating others against your “crazy “ ideas.
It’s a war, but most people have already lost because they don’t know it’s going on
Duck, merci for the reply, you make some valid points but i wasn’t talking about advertising or algobubbles. Your original message was about how many server racks are dedicated to shaping our guy Corbett’s opinions do that he could refeed it to us. That’s very precise and would make sense if it was done by those with political power feeling threatened by his reach. I still posit that that’s not the case so no server rack is dedicated to shaping Corbett’s opinions. If he was truly perceived as a danger to the powers that be, he would be no more or he would at least not be spreading his ideas for decades on various platforms, thass what i meant.
Hugh
Maybe you are correct, and no server racks exist. I don’t know everything, but I would point out that AlgoBubbles and Advertising ARE the means by which people are controlled…..you don’t need to “do” anything severe about a guy when you know what he is interested in and can keep him following bread crumbs to no where (actually in tha story iirc the birds ate the bread crumbs and the kids got lost)
Folks “in the conspiracy sphere” often like to mock the “normie” but what if that’s the same as apple and android users mocking each other? How much “Truther” and “X,y,z pilled” content is just more entertainment?
Which leads to the scary thought (personally I do NOT go as far as this) that this is all a big sand box playground for the naughty kids who don’t play nice…..
Like I said I do not go THAT far but I would ask you if you believe what you wrote
“…he was truly perceived as a danger to the powers that be, he would be no more or he would at least not be spreading his ideas for decades on various platforms, thass what i meant.…”
Then what are you actually TRYING TO GET from the info here? What do you want as an end goal or is it just entertainment?
I am asking seriously, because to my mind the internet is becoming more and more “super TV” and less and less a place where we go to get new ideas and info.
Duck, You misunderstood me and you’re absolutely right in what you’re saying.
Me saying Corbett is no danger to the powers that be doesn’t mean he becomes entertainment or futile. My reason for being here, as you have asked, is because i consider this an invaluable treasure of information, solution attempts and philosophy. To me it’s the right way forward for humanity, but as of now, there’s so few humans desiring to go that road that it’s simply not a threat to the powers.
You’re also right in your last sentence about the “super TV” and i find that quite scary, as i saw the internet as a kind of “super accelerator” for the ideas of freedom and if we lose that, i’m afraid we’ll never reach the tipping point into a free society.
Thanks for your reply.
I agree this is indeed a treasure trove of information. And I wish to see a freer society too, my worry is that people are getting less and less suitable to be free. It will take a hundred years to get us back to where we were a century ago if we start today, and IMO electronic media over the last 70/80 years is a major cause
I also thought the Internet was a good thing, and it kinda is for some people but I was saying just the other day to someone IRL that a person who has a well formed mind becomes more powerful with computers but people with half formed brains are doomed to become junior partners to the cybernetic symbiote.
Not going to lie, I’m an info junkie but ‘m kinda looking forward to being back out of touch for a while.
Great article, James. If no one believes anything then life isn’t work living, IMO. I must point out that I’ve studied the virus thing and so far, I do not see any evidence that viruses exist. Mostly, it appears that when we come down with the flu or cold, it is our body detoxing from everything else toxic being thrown at us. Having said that, each individual has the right to believe whatever they like, as long as that belief comes from informed information. 🙂
I guess the only answers will be found in Real Life (irl, as you say).
I agree. Lumping virus skeptics with flat-earthers is not appropriate.
The ‘right to believe’ is an interesting topic. In many places, you only have the right to believe officially sanctioned narratives, which are often full of falsehoods. Then, you only have the right to believe that which comes from misinformed info. I know what you meant, but I couldn’t resist quibbling over semantics when you use fraught words such as ‘rights’.
I’m most of the way thru first read of “The bicameral mind” book by julian jaynes and if he is even right about half of what he says then the “post truth” world is actually THE NORMAL STATUS QOU
I wish CS Lewis had been around to comment on the book because paired with “abolition of man” it’s a super disturbing to think that Mr Corbett is correct and Narative is the most important thing in human cognition and social control…..basically the state of nature of people as remote controlled NPCs who were once told what to do by hallinciated voices in their head beamed from “the high places” kinda makes sense considering that most people are getting th voice telling them what to do beamed in from the TV / cell tower…..even the use of little idols by folks in their daily lives matches TV and mobile phones.

For real, it may br that as we loose reading many will be returning to the hard NPC state
This guy has a talk on it that’s interesting and disturbing

When Apathy Reigns, Inaction Follows… Then Slavery
Love this article.
I’ve noticed increasingly that my intuition has caused me to suspect that some of my favorite podcasters are disinformation agents, and wonder if I perhaps am subconsciously applying a counterproductive “purity test” against them. It is difficult to discern sometimes, especially if there seems to be no obvious divisive message.
I have to tell the truth, everything I say is a lie.
Indeed these are, what I used to call “the days of”, has now become “the era of the sprung lie”.
James, you flirt with a realm that could have you on toast: imagine deep fake corbett.. Its not a nice thought.
My takeaway from the cia quote is that it was an in plain sight effort to steal faith. The expert-whopper liars dont have to even lie with narrative, but rather simply tell others that they’ve been duped.
in truth
we are trust
,,not in some thing or body or idea, but rather the visceral truth of the act itself. When our capacity to trust gets psychologically skunked, not much meaningful life happens.

“….. I have to tell the truth, everything I say is a lie….”
🙂
My brain hurts now.
“We’ll know the CIA’s disinformation campaign has failed when a critical mass of the public is actively engaged in working with their friends and neighbours to vet information.”
Think about how many family members, friends, neighbors, etc. have experienced their own concerns (truths), yet, for whatever reason(s) – be it fear, embarrassment, sensorship, etc. – refuse to share or articulate their insights. This, to me, is both disturbing and sad.
— The Dallas Express —
I should say something about The Dallas Express.
James Corbett’s critique of the Dallas Express article “Soros-Funded Indivisible Targets Texas Data Centers In Temple, Texas” is spot on. The author bent the facts so hard that tree branches were breaking.
However, I am very glad to have The Dallas Express to now be considered ‘mainstream media.’ Note: Yahoo News picked up the story and Corbett links to that.
The Dallas Express broke ground on many topics which the mainstream media would not cover.
The Dallas Express covered FLUORIDE when it was taboo to talk about.
The Dallas Express even published an article written by me:
A Black Dallas School Teacher Opened the Door to Fluoride’s History

The following ARCHIVED historical Dallas Express newspapers are fascinating to read and scan through.

The Dallas Express
HISTORY
Self-proclaimed as “the South’s Oldest and Largest Negro Newspaper,” the Dallas Express traces its roots to 1892, when William E. King began publishing the Dallas Bee.
Renamed the Dallas Express in 1893, the paper served as an advocate for blacks in Dallas and throughout the South for over 70 years.
Although little exists to document the paper’s early years, the Express became one of the most influential black publications in Texas in the decades leading up to the Great Depression.
In 1920, the Express boasted a circulation of over 10,000, second only to the Houston Informer in the state’s black weekly market. The eight-page paper ran on Saturdays and cost five cents for a single issue or one dollar and fifty cents for an annual subscription.
King edited the Express from its inception until his death in 1919. During King’s editorship–as well as John Rice’s from 1919 to 1928–the Express claimed to be a “plain, every day, sensible, conservative newspaper.”
The Express, however, reported news ignored by most mainstream publications.
In an era when the Birmingham News admonished blacks for placing “too much stress” on incidents of lynching, the Express blazoned such injustices across its front page. Editorials denounced segregation, voting restrictions, and mob violence, which flourished during the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan in the 1920s. Despite its frequently militant views, the Express strove to promote improved race relations and embody its motto “Champion of Justice, Messenger of Hope.” Even when condemning racial inequities, the paper did so with an eye towards fostering patriotism and democracy….
“…. resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan in the 1920s…..”
On the topic of propaganda and social media folks should know that the second Klan was unrelated to the first Klan and was invented by a nerd who got LARPy from watching a silent movie ….. the first “Klan” March had paid black dudes under the robes and only got popular because a Jewish and iirc NYC media guy became their publicist.
The real KKK was actually a pretty interesting secret society totally unrelated to the media slop version that was briefly of political importance. It’s like armed Trekkies or Star Wars fans forming storm trooper legions.
On that note maybe the saying should be
“We will know that the CIA propaganda effort has failed when people stop consuming media Slop and stop building their real lives around entertainment “
really, very well said. reportage was good – i got my public library to order it and enjoyed it greatly. in my opinion your writing has gotten much better. this particular topic merits a thousand books – ten years ago. i nominate Corbett to pen one, and i hope it doesn’t take 15 years again (unless the Corbett report documentary is already in the works, because I enjoy those very much as well).
I only ever went to community college, but even there they taught us about using scientific investigation in research to find conflicts of interest when vetting sources of information. And in finding them, if not ruling those sources out, utilizing extreme skepticism, and at the least declaring those conflicts. but fundamentally, abstaining from absolutes and keeping an open mind. that is science, is what I was taught… at ozark technical community college… (for which I’m grateful, truly). In all my years consuming media since I honestly can’t recall any discussion of that term in this context or much on these concepts in journalism in general. utilizing this method, most said media has corporate interests, embedded spooks etc. etc, so no surprise there. but the lack of attention to this, or a reminder to do this, by the “alt media” in the age of “everything is AI fake news” absolutism, is befuddling to me. given that statement largely bears truth, we better figure something out, like, the thing we always knew, possibly. because casey’s clever harvard recruits at the psyops department, or whatever powers they (should not) be, are having a heyday curating our Orwellian future without it.
I’ve been waiting for this read, so thank you, James. Please keep carrying the torch. and thank you, George, up there in (let’s hope not Orwellian) heaven. watching down on us humble globetards. amen
As President of the “Earth is Flat, Viruses Don’t Exist, Nukes are Fake, and 9/11 was Hologram,” I resonate strongly with what Corbett says here.
Matter of fact, I wrote an article called “Multiple Paths to Freedom” back in Jan 2024 on why these things exist: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/the-multiple-paths-to-freedom
Overall, I do agree with Corbett 1,000% — at the end of the day, we all need to come together against the conspirators…I’d just argue that the conspiracy goes so deep that we’ve been taught to argue around fallacies
Democracy by the ancient Greeks: Citizens randomly drafted for short terms in office.
Democracy in America: Citizens voting for politicians.
Communism by Marx: A stateless utopia where the people take care of each other.
Communism in America: Socialism except mean.
Fascism by Mussolini: The state acts like a giant labor union for the whole country.
Fascism in America: When the government is mean.
Socialism by Marx: The state owns the means of production.
Socialism in America: When the government gives people stuff.
“Anaxagoras maintained that snow is black but no one believed him. The social psychologists of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will fay different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. Various results will soon be arrived at: First, that the influence of the home is obstructive; second, not much can be done unless indoctrination begins before age ten; third, that verses set to music and repeatedly intoned are very effective; fourth, that the opinion that snow is white must be held to show a morbid taste for eccentricity. But I anticipate it is for future scientists to make these maxims precise and discover exactly how much it costs per head to make children believe that snow is black and how much less it would cost to make them believe it is dark grey.”
