For me, this is the most schocking and impressive documentary I have seen in this website. I saw a documentary where the had one of the women who tortured British soldiers to death and then guttted them and hung their bodies up booby trapped with explosives to kill the tommies recovering the bodies and watched her explain how terrible the British had been to ‘make her’ do such things.

Does anyone remember the times (not so long ago) when movies had scenes with hostages in them? Bad guys would use innocents as human shields as a means to an end. Imagine someone trying that with the IDF. But the strange thing this theme seems to be forgotten in the more recent cinema, at least I am not aware of any recent examples.

By using the word “right” you presuppose the authority of these institutions to grant such “rights”. By using the term “human rights” you imply that those in power have the ability to actually revoke them: the permission not to be tortured can, by this worldview, be removed!
Some of you may use the English Bill of Rights (1689) as a counter example, but this document helps my case. The word “right” in this context simply means “laws”, and was understood by everyone at the time to mean laws. The document goes on to proscribe what the king cannot do and is illegal.
So-call “rights” are a recent innovation. Prior to the French Revolutionary document “Déclaration des droits de l’homme et du citoyen” (Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen) we did not have such permissions grated to us by the state. Jews don’t believe God is a piece of meat, and that belief is based SOLELY on the Torah – not the Talmud, or any other book.

Well… mainly because secular jewish culture, with all its present evils grows directly out of that culture of hatred, resentment and racism. Shahak’s book mentioned above goes into all kinds of observant jewish behaviors that are the basis of nasty secular jewish behaviors.

I’m watching this on my television right now. I’ve known it was bad but I’m guilty of, well knowing it was bad but trying to keep it out of my mind because it’s just so painful as a father.
