So despite the eye rolling gay stuff, the acting and action is quite engaging.
Homosexuality isn’t a plot against humanity. Gay people have always existed, from the beginning of human life. It’s no more “Hollywood propaganda” than anything else Hollywood presents. Why aren’t you saying anything about Prostitution Propaganda? There’s exponentially more Hollywood films made about prostitutes than gay people. I think it’s a myth that the gay community doesn’t want children.
If anything, the gay community supports young people who have been rejected by their parents and religious communities. The gay community saves people who may have otherwise killed themselves, because the society they were raised in, told them they were defective and disposable.
I was born and raised near a very gay area of Southern California. I also have spent a lot of time in the Castro District of San Francisco. These are very supportive communities, with grassroots efforts that not only support themselves, but other people in need who live in the community.
I think it’s the opposite of Malthusian.
These neighborhoods are very life affirming. They’re bright and friendly and full of color.
Maybe it is subversive, but to a culture with fascist tendencies, which, I think is good.
Gay neighborhoods are about the freedom to be who you are, and to love who you love in the open, without fear of condemnation or shame.
Which, I think, is what any freedom movement should be open to.
And it’s ironic to me that there’s all these people in these so-called “Freedom Movement”s that are so hateful and bigoted, freedom-for-me-but-not-for-thee.
If you believe in freedom, you should support feminism and homosexuality, as well as homesteading and gun ownership, and that taxation is theft.
It’s about freedom of choice and bodily autonomy.

I don’t have a very wide spectrum or broad understanding of human emotion but I have pity for their self destruction.
Maybe I’m not free or liberal enough to encourage a destructive life style with any enthusiasm. I’ve buried a few risk takers who probably were closet gays. Some pursued thrills and hedonism to their end. Perspectives are that they make the society or society made them.

It seems that you and Duck keep trying to lump pedophilia in with homosexuality.
There’s also a difference (recognized within the gay community) between being “gay” and being “queer.”
There’s nuance here that’s being ignored. Or you’re not paying close enough attention, and making a whole bunch of assumptions.
You want to know where the line is?
It’s at consent.
Children don’t have the maturity to consent.
Anyone who has been coerced into an act or a situation can’t consent.
People who are under the influence of drugs and alcohol can’t consent.
People who are under the financial care and supervision of someone who has power over their life, to the point that their bodily autonomy is restricted, can’t consent.
If there is any kind of power imbalance and the compromised party is being asked to do something they don’t want to do, but can’t refuse because there would be negative consequences, is rape.
And that has nothing to do with homosexuality.
A person’s sexuality is tied into their personality.
A lot of straight men are uncomfortable even talking about homosexuality, because they’re uncomfortable with a part of themselves, where maybe they’re bisexual and refuse to face it. They reject it and condemn it because they’re ashamed.
It’s a lot simpler to live in a black and white world. Zero-sum. Either-or.
Nuance is fuzzy. It’s itchy.
A small correction.
The memories are not in the brain. The brain is just an adaptive filter.
The memories are stored in the consciousness in different levels, making it very hard to model. Which is why it is not accepted widely.
People usually mix up these levels, and mix up states of consciousness like dream and physical reality.
In most cultures most people forget their dreams, and there is evidence of some kind of “veil” that separates active memories and hidden memories.
In traumas there is also a veil that prevents people from parts of their traumatic memories.
This is actively used in propaganda.
So most people will remember the planes going into the towers and people running away.
But only a few remember the obvious demolition of the towers in plain sight.
Shocking memories are creating veils and hide the reality underneath.
When people get psychosis, there is another consciousness interfering with their active consciousness.
This is due to trauma that leaves a veil big enough that there is an opening for other consciousness to enter.
So they experience a different reality and do not act as themselves.
Soldiers are trained for murder by using such traumas.
If “successful”, the survival instinct will take over, while still following commands.
The scientific community has gone full Scientism.
A religion, based on ,aterialism with no place for anything else.
And thus they can not solve the simple problems of life and consciousness.
Even thinking that AI is consciousness, while it is just statistics with lots of data.
In reality we see evidence for telepathy. Especially within relationships.
We see that 2 separate halves of a brain can work together in sync.
With simple exercises people can learn to sense chi / prana, and use it to observe their surroundings.
With this sense one can observe chi / prana coming from living beings, but not from dead objects.
In experiments we can detect small electromagnetic changes (bio-photons, bio-electricity), changes in chemical reactions (both ways). It also seems to influence nuclear decay (like 10 experments of yan-xin).
This shows that consciousness can have influence on every aspect of the physical world in some way.
But as explained above, consciousness itself is ruled by the veils.
What if the veil breaks?
We see how near death experiences during inactive brains, which memories are stronger than life.
With memories of past relatives and friends.
This includes people who were born blind and saw colors for the first time.
It completely changes how people live.
So maybe veils are important to live our human lives in a “normal” way.

And yes, pride month and various LGBT organizations are political entities, using historically oppressed minority to push their agenda. Yes, it’s divide and conquer strategy but I think there are positives to this. Like less oppression and less people being discriminated against is a good thing. As for the number of abusers in the gay community, I’m not sure how these studies are done but in such a small sample compared to overall population there’s gonna be a higher percentage of abusers than in the majority of people. So, that’s my take, don’t conflate the regular people with the agenda.

That would mean a higher Per Capita rate of sex offenders, which is what I said. Not to say they are all like that but if they are more prone to sex offending then surely keeping them away from vulnerable people makes sense.

I knew it was John Lennon (not Ringo) who was assassinated in New York in the winter of 81 or 82, because I remember hearing it on the radio in my apartment in Camrose Alberta after returning from a day of pouring a hot tar roof in minus 25 – 30 temperature. No Mandela effect.
As for ‘bucket list’ was a movie title/theme before the phrase gained some traction, not being a TV owner myself, nor being a movie buff, and the fact that it sounds like a goofy made-up Hollywood phrase anyway, I am not in the least surprised, or upset.

Going over that list, on the site James provided, there seems to be a bit of a mistake.
They claim “We are the champions” by Queen never had the line “of the world” tacked on.
I did a bit of research and Freddie Mercury DID say this during live concerts. No it may not be in the studio recording of the song but I knew I had heard it.
In nothing else, it’s a lesson on not taking peoples word for “facts”. Technically they may have been right but Mercury did utter that line during concerts.
That was number 4 in their list and I wonder how many more I’ll uncover that aren’t 100% true.

I was an avid reader as a kids, and definitely remember the Berenstein Bears. But I have a habit of mis-pronouncing names pretty badly. I also remember a movie with Sinbad called Kazaam, or something similar.
But I never said bucket list as a kid, or thought Mandela died in jail.
The Mandela effect is a perfect example of the extreme narcissm and self-centerdness of mankind. It’s not us who’s wrong, it’s the world!
After watching this subscriber exclusive video I’ve become irrational and am going to have to go out screaming into the night… Within the last couple of years I encountered the term ‘Bucket List’ online and wasn’t sure what it meant and so I looked it up. When I read the definition of ‘making a list of things to do before I die’, I recognized it immediately. And for me as an oldster growing up in the 1960s USA I think the idea of making a list of things I wanted to do before I died was very common in the culture then, might even have been a school assignment I did back then, and I’m pretty sure I made a list back then that I’ve long since lost.
I think the reason the expression ‘Bucket List’ might be catching on is it’s a shorter way of saying ‘List of things I want to do before I die’. ‘Bucket list’ seems to me to be kind of a popular slang expression that may or may not last as long as the idea of ‘making a list of things to do before I die’. The expression does seem to be growing like a weed so maybe it’ll take over the garden.
You brought up a second point about misremembering events in life experience and I just wanted to say that I have had that happen occasionally when I’m talking to myself out loud (yes, I do that as bad as it sounds) and once in a while I stream out something I know isn’t right in my memory. It’s like a bug in my memory that I suddenly become aware of. Typically it’s something I rarely think of but it is disappointing to me when I realize I have some junk memories.
I recognize I’m kinda commingling ideas here but ‘fake news’ could be considered as intentionally planting these types of memories into the general population. The thing that sticks in my mind is reporters saying to this day that there is absolutely no evidence of election fraud in the 2020 election when I’ve listened to hundreds of hours online about all the irregularities in the 2020 election.

I remember bucket list being a new term with the movie, that’s not a Mandela effect for me. My strongest Mandela effect (which is unique to me afaik) is the closing credits for Gangs of New York. I remembered it was a U2 song, but I totally remembered it being the Song “New York”. I even remember buying the CD single because I heard the song in the movie. When I watched the movie years later I was dumbfounded to find it was a song called “The hands that built America” which I would have sworn I had never heard before in my life.
I can accept that my mind just privately edited the movie and I think it did a pretty good job. “New York” would have been a much better closing credit song for Gangs of New York than “The hands that built America”. The lyrics of “New York” are practically the plot of Gangs of New York 🙂

So I can’t help thinking this was deliberate. All that hugging and loving one’s fellow human beings is anathema to the predator class, however chemically induced. Much better they take the capitalist’s favourite powder.

I don’t know about that- you could certainly be correct but if I was the predator class I would be in favor of my cattle being docile and happy from a big dose of Soma.
That’s a good point, and who knows maybe that was the intent, it’s certainly strange Es just exploded onto the scene in such a short space of time, but it didn’t make people docile. The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. Off the top of my head I can not think of an example of the Mandela effect. However, it is interesting to me to see that particularly the fate of Mandela in prison is used to illustrate this phenomenon. The liberation of Mandela in prison in 1990 is my first memory of watching a political event on TV. I was about to become 10 years old, was in fourth grade and my parents had motivated us to follow the event on TV. I had sensed the importance of the event, probably because of the enthousiasm of my parents. I have a vivid memory of the crowd going wild with excitement when Mandela walked out of prison a free man. I remember feeling moved and maybe even more inspired by the event.
Also, interesting you bring up the Berenstain book series, dear James. Growing up in Europe, I did not know about this series until I found one of these books in French in a “croque livres” around Montreal. It was about the brother and sister bears going for their annual medical check up. In the doctor’s office they “should have gotten and taken their vaccines”. But not in my reading! I read it to my children with a different reading in which the bears bravely refused the vaccines, were cheered on for this by their mother and then spoke up to the crowd of children in the waiting room not to take the vaccines either.

As I have written about in the past, we live in a time of such prolific, ubiquitous and permeating brainwashing regarding the supposed necessity and legitimacy of the state, that many people are like a fish born into murky polluted waters, thinking that is normal as they have never known anything else.
With this month’s poll, I intend on cutting through some of that conditioning by getting us to ask ourselves the question, are there any legitimate instance where we would endorse the state seizing our fellow community members’ property in the name of industrial expansion using violent coercion?
People sometimes tell me “but Gavin, its not violent coercion, they just ask nicely and then pay those that do not agree to leave”. But what happens to those that refuse to leave? The jack booted thugs of empire show up at your door and tell you to leave “or else”, that’s what.
So the question is, do you endorse violent coercion facilitated land seizure for industrial expansion in any case?
I honestly would like to get a feel for where people stand on this as based on my interactions with those that have been targeted by the Canadian government’s expropriation (“eminent domain” equivalent) land theft practices (and their neighbors) I have yet to meet anyone that feels these “legal” mechanisms for violent land theft (using the false justification of providing “market value” for the land stolen at gun point) is justified, required, nor necessary “for the greater good” in anyway, shape or form.
We are told we must give the government money (“for the greater good”), or else (violent coercion will ensue) via taxation (for our own “safety and protection” of course) and then when the government’s corporate partners want to pillage a section of the Earth where people are already living, tending a forest or farming they tell you they are taking that land by force (via eminent domain / expropriation legal mechanisms) and if you resist and defend your land (that you have no intention of selling) they will send in armed (tax payer funded) goons to forcibly remove you (or kill you) so that the bulldozers can move forward unimpeded.
When the mafia moves into your neighborhood and starts telling you that you need to pay them protection money (“or else”) and that they want to pay you a “fair price” for your business or home and tell you to get the hell out (“or else”) you call that organized crime, yet when this entity called “government” engages in that same behavior, many have been conditioned to think it is normal and should be accepted.

I got really curious about the whole speech since I also recently saw the clip where Kennedy was speaking about secret societies, and that’s why they killed him. remembering the one “Questions for Corbett” episode where James played the whole speech and I went looking for the exact speech. Fortunately the clip had a date on it January 16, 1991. and the speech was easy to find. And the speech is so much more sinister than the quote suggests. About two decades ago, a dentist screwed up my mouth something horrible. Besides a deep bone infection, he left a quarter inch hole from a left molar area which goes into my left nostril. It can’t be naturally repaired. Food gets into my nose often when I eat. The turbinates (small, curved, bony structures) in my left nostril completely changed, with some disappearing entirely. For years, I could only sleep on my stomach.

A study of mental state among adults in a fluorosis-affected region of Shanxi Province in China has found that at least 10 years of consumption of fluoride-contaminated water leading to a urinary fluoride concentration of just 0.24 milligrams per liter (mg/L) is associated with a one percent increased rate of cognitive decline.
